Received a text at 5:15pm saying it was ready for pickup. Arrived to what I can only describe as chaos. Over 24 cars in spots waiting for pickup, 15 cars lined up along side the building, 1 worker bringing out orders one at a time. I received 3 text reminders about my order being ready AFTER I finally got a parking spot with a pickup number. It was 2 hours after that someone came around asking people's names and trying to organize things. I was told be two separate employees my order was up next, only for it not to be. I arrived at 5:30pm, I left at 9:30pm. I sat there for FOUR HOURS. Obviously when I got home, things were unthawed, luckily the only thing truly wasted was the ice cream I had purchase which had obviously liquified in that 4 hour window. At no point did I see more than 2 employees and I was told by one of the employees that there was a system issue with the orders, nothing was coming through correctly, and management would not let them cancel any of the orders. He encouraged people to cancel if they could, I however, was not able to cancel via the app because it told me I was unable to cancel if an order was ready for pickup. Another gentleman told me that the reason I was told my order was ready was that it had started being prepped twice by different employees but hadn't been finished. He wasn't even supposed to be doing pickup, and had never done it before, but was trying to help out. Sadly I know that it's the employees that are going to get in trouble for this, and not management. This was 100% a management and app issue, but crap as always, will float downhill.

I asked my nieces and sister to meet me at the store so they could help me pick out clothes for the kids and their husband's. They were having a sale on most everything, plus I found an extra 15% off coupon on the JCP website. We found outfits for all the kids ranging in ages from 3 to 15, including Disney. I bought my sister and her husband flannel shirts and for my niece's husband's, UK t-shirts. I waited about two minutes in line for checkout. The cashier was fast and friendly. I'll see you again in December for my holiday deals.

The hairstylist agreed to correct my hair color, she even stated as a stylist she should have done my hair differently. She instructed me to come back the next day.. I left a $40 tip for the stylist's time even though I was unhappy with my hair. I called to confirm my appointment the next day and was told that I would have to pay to have my hair corrected. That was not the agreement made and I would never have gotten out of the chair yesterday had I known this. It is poor customer service to say you will do something and not honor the agreement I spent $200 yesterday and will have to pay more to fix my hair. Shameful!

However, ALL registers were manned so we were in line only 5 minutes! Special shoutout to Dawnette who was efficient, professional, and friendly. Store was well stocked and we found everything we were looking for. Great deals. After early supper we came back and shopped further. I stopped by the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to do some Christmas shopping. I found a few cloths items for my great nephew in sizes 10-12, boys. I looked at some clearance racks for myself, but didn't find anything. I also looked at shoes and nothing jumped out at me so I kept it moving. This location has a ton of home goods, from anything to kitchen items to dog beds. And during Christmas they have extra toys for the kids. The reason I gave a four instead of five stars is the store did away with the check out counters where you go into the mall and now only have registers on the side of the store where you go into the parking lot. Oh and one register in jewelry. The lines were super dooper long. I waited about 15 minutes to purchase my three items. You may want to rethink this change T.J. Maxx. I know you wanted to bring in more toys, but making customers wait in long lines may not be the best way to maximise profits.
