Today's visit was slowed by the cashier not being at the register when several people were waiting to check out. She was in an aisle, putting away merchandise, when she noticed that there were a few people who had lined up to go. She came up, apologized for the wait, and took care of everyone quickly. I would recommend FD increase the hourly pay for floor associates and perhaps offer extra perks to ensure their employees stay in their career longer.

Horrible customer service!! The clerk handed me a $5 bill as part of my change, but it had been…read moreobviously put through the washer, was torn, shredded on the edges plus had a hole in the middle! I've never seen such a bad bill and so I kindly asked for a different one. She had closed the register and said she would find a manager to get me a different bill. I have worked in retail so I was fine with waiting. But then the assistant manager came up, looked at the $5 and refused to correct it. She acted like I was the one with the bad bill. I clarified their clerk had handed me this $5, and the clerk nodded yes she had. Now imagine how bad this $5 bill must be if the assistant manager didn't want to take it. She then repeated rudely that I would have to wait till the store manager arrived. The next register right beside us was open with the clerk counting out ones. I asked the assistant to just exchange it in that register and still she refused "no, you have to wait till we can find our manager". I told her this made no sense and that I had never been treated so poorly as a customer, especially by management. It took longer for the manager than for my entire shopping trip. And no apology was offered for the extra wait or rude treatment. I've never been so disrespected. Don't give your hard earned money to businesses with unkind people. Seek out a different store.

My friend browsed around quickly & you could see how impatient the staff were and how they wanted us out. I tried to rush him, but there's no rushing him. Finally, I was able to get him out at 7:02 pm. We then walked across to a different shoe store & the young lady inside said that the manager at Cole Haan makes up her own hours & that they're always closing early and opening late. That's inconvenient but whatever. They clearly don't need the sales, and their shoes are overpriced anyway IMO. He was able to find the shoes he liked for less online. I won't be going back although they had some cute shoes in there. If you go, make sure that you go way before 7 pm.
