Her contract required prepayment and stipulated she kept all funds regardless of her fulfillment of services. Over the course of 6 months, she kept less than half of the scheduled appointments and my horses' progress was minimal. None of my horses met their training goals, and I had to pull one horse after five months because she felt she would need to start over from scratch with him. I then hired another trainer to work with the same horse, and in a handful of days he met his goal. Her communication about cancellations was poor at best, often requiring that I ask her the morning of the scheduled session, or even at the time of the session, if she would be coming before she would tell me she was not. I tried in good faith to resolve the situation. When I requested better communication from her, she informed me she is too busy to do so and her priorities are otherwise. Her words to me were, "I understand you would like more notice but as a business owner AND trainer AND instructor it's really difficult to know what my days are going to look like. I am really sorry that this has caused issue but truly feel as if it should not." [The emphasis was hers, copied and pasted directly from an electronic message.] Based on that information I terminated our arrangement, in spite of her still owing me several more sessions.

She understood our needs (the immense amount of them due to this being the first major wedding in our family) and happily helped us. She coordinated vendors, event timeline, logistics and her team arranged everything beautifully. The rehearsal dinner was incredible - she managed the entire rehearsal for us. And, during the wedding, it was like she knew our needs before we did! She'd notice that we entered a state of panic due to forgetting and item or being seen to early - and she solved the problems without even needing to say a word. I cannot recommend her enough! Whenever I (or any of my close friends) get married, I will be running to Maggie to ensure she can manage the wedding. She's that good!

My brother and his wife had their ceremony and reception here the weekend before last and it could not have been more perfect. Complimentary valet parking was available for the wedding and very appreciated. There isn't a ton of parking in the area so this is the perfect solution, especially on a rainy day. Valets were ready to go even when we arrived, about 45 minutes before the ceremony. Just remember cash to tip! The Apiary grounds and building are beautiful and well maintained with historical charm. The grounds were worth exploring with beautiful greenery, stone benches, and water features. The hard cover pavilion was the perfect spot for an outdoor wedding with protection from the rainy day. For a wedding of about 60 guests there was more than enough space. Inside, a lovely gathering room and bar area were comfortable for the time before and in between the festivities. The bridal party had a large cellar area to get ready. The bathrooms were conveniently located in between the ceremony site and reception room. The food here was absolutely amazing and truly on par with a meal at a fine dining restaurant. I live in Las Vegas and it was like eating at a fine restaurant here. The service was over the top with perfect timing and professionalism. The whole service team would line up to serve and remove courses at the same time. The attention to detail really added something to the event. Zero proof cocktails were offered to non-drinkers and the two children in attendance were provided special meals. Our meal started with Caesar Salads. It was one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had and a hearty portion. The Parker house rolls were warm and buttery. The Beef meal had delicious slices of tender beef, crispy potatoes, and green beans. The kid's meal was really tasty with both healthy options and foods kids typically love. The venue was on top of accommodating food allergies by asking each guest if they had allergies before the meal. The groom has food allergies and he was able to enjoy a lovely meal that evening. The Apiary sent an already beautiful event over the top. My brother and his wife made a fantastic choice in where to celebrate their big day.
