Not only did they refuse the office woman said I got a refund of the work done. They charged me like $260 for that and that was a lie. They didn't refund anything. Don't trust them. They'll do it wrong, refuse to fix, and then lie to you.

Feeling a bit insulted, we ignored his opinion and thanked the tech for his assistance. I called Ellis again September of 2025 because my unit again was not cooling. Ellis sent another technician, who advised again our unit was "cheap" and the compressor needed to be replaced, and we did not have a warranty. Ellis quoted $3200.00 to replace the compressor, or, $3600.00 for a new unit. We questioned this because we just purchased this home in 2022, so we researched our unit ourselves. We scanned the QR code on the back of our unit which immediately reflected a full warranty through 2031. I was able to contact the company who installed the unit. They immediately came out and confirmed the compressor had not failed but we had a clogged filter dryer. $150.00 later our "cheap" unit is working perfectly! CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!
