I spoke to an agent on the Sunday & they assured me someone would be in touch to rectify it. Low & behold no call came. The following day (Monday) I again had to contact them & I asked for the escalation department. Spoke with an agent, she assured me that the following day (Tues) a technician would be here between 8-12....i took the day off work & again waited & no one showed up. I returned to Bell after 20 years with Rogers and Virgin. In my first week: - I got billed before any services/modem were delivered - got 5 telemarketing calls in 3 days. All hang ups - bell owns virgin. They still refused to waive the $80 activation fee - I phoned them twice, spoke to a loyalty manager, asked them to stop calling and either text or email. I recently moved and had to give up my wonderfully cheap/great service with a discount internet provider as they don't service my area. Bell sold me on a package deal, including TV and movie channels which i didn't really want and haven't used four months later. I was also talked into getting two SIM cards to switch over cell service for my kids, with the promise of being able to cancel with no penalty. in the end i missed the deadline and had to pay hundreds of dollars for the SIM cards i never used. Then my bill just kept going up. Bell wont let me cancel any of the subscriptions without paying a massive penalty or increase in monthly fees. i really feel like I've been scammed! Bell Mobility Worst Tech Dept Customer Service Dec 25th 2025-For 3 months their tech dept is telling me they can't help with the fact I get no cell service or internet on my plan when I drive to Burlington ..Stoney Creek...Grimsby...even Stratford etc... ..shuts down completely and doesn't come back till I am back in my own area of St Catharines even then it's hit and miss..I pay full monthly fee and get maybe 30 percent service on and off. I even bought a new phone and same thing happened ....took the phone back as I obviously don't need a new phone as its their problem not mine. They have no solution at this point. They said you may need to go to Roger's.....( WHAT? REALLY ?). Bell shows on my account that the change is "effective immediately," but here I am 6 days later and NOTHING has changed. Although all the banking info was correctly recorded on my profile, Bell informed me that the auto debit to my bank account failed. If I could, I would give Bell negative stars or a black hole rating, because this company is a black hole for your wallet. Bell engages in dishonest pricing practices. I went to a Bell store in person and was promised a monthly rate of $40 per month for 50 GB with the $70 activation fee waived. My first bill came out to $113, even after a $15 autopay credit (which, by the way, would only be in effect for the first 7 months - the store associate had promised to completely waive the $70 activation fee, but this autopay credit only reduces the activation fee to $35, and I would still be charged $50 a month, which is much more than the $40 a month that I was promised). When I returned to the same store that I bought my plan, I was told to call their cancellation number. I had to call 3 times before I could successfully cancel my plan. Bell's dishonest pricing practices have irreparably lost my trust. I will be taking my business elsewhere and recommending others to avoid Bell. I have already changed my number and now have service with Public Mobile, but Bell is still trying to bill me. read more

If we could give 0 stars, we would. We've had a Bell landline for decades and Bell internet and TV for years. On Oct. 9, without prior notice, our landline was cut off. After trying out their badly-designed online troubleshooting-tool (which sent us on an infinite loop), chatting with Bell bots who were utterly unhelpful, spending 40 minutes waiting for a Bell human to answer a call from a cell phone we had to borrow, only to be placed on hold and then cut off (this happened more than once), after four separate visits from technicians who required me to stay home, only to be told, hours later, that (a) they didn't know what the problem was, (b) "CO" had to reprogramme the line on their end, (c) our landline would have to be merged with our internet/TV account, and only head-office could do that because copper lines were being discontinued, (d) that head office had for some reason recently created 2 separate accounts for our phone number and these needed to be merged before the technician could do anything, (e) that my partner, reached at her workplace, had to authorize me as a secondary user before Bell could communicate at all with me, (f) that in spite of being told I had been added as a secondary user, I was not in fact so added and therefore, after hours on hold and more dropped calls, head-office would not communicate with me about our account, and (g) being left to our own devices and told we needed to have cell phones, (h) we received a brand-new bill charging us for a service Bell has not been providing, and has not yet restored. No refund has yet been received. We are currently researching alternative providers and will leave Bell as soon as we have found one. Since our family is also with Bell, we may not be the only ones they lose over this (although that's up to them, of course). Anyway, if you're looking for a telecommunications-provider, unfortunately we have to advise you to stay away from Bell. 17 year Bell mobility customer with (4) lines Recently receiving multiple scam callers daily claiming to be "Bell mobility". They appear to be cloning local phone numbers to get us to answer. Once the call is answered we can hear a beep when the A.I. call generator transfers to a human scammer. Contacted Bell customer service for a solution. Bell failed to offer any solution to the issue, they do not offer Call control like other providers. Bell did not seam concerned that the scammers were impersonating their company. Worst cell phone company ever don't go with Bell . In 15 years with Rogers I never had this problem. I signed up for bell under a promo. They claimed I owed them for long distance incoming calls. I had a unlimited long distance US&Canada plan. The agent on the phone said I had to pay for long distance incoming calls. So I cancel my plan complain to the CRTC via CCTS. I still made payments to Bell on a weekly schedule until my matter is resolved with CCTS. As I'm not paying for service I didn't use.. While that investigation is going on they still charge interest on the balance which is not even like $100. The minute its "resolved" which it wasn't really. The bill is dinged on my credit score 30 points. Keep in mind I didn't even get a bill or anything I asked 4 times for a bill to see the details on the charges. They cannot legally ding on your credit score if you make a payment whether it's $5- ot $50. They classified as a missed payment. They practice shady shit and now since they dinged my credit a bit I'm going to pay the amount on a weekly schedule for a few months and take it to the financial regulatory body and Canadian ministry for this bs. They cannot dinge your credit for a matter in dispute and the day after they see it as resolved. I was going to pay the balance but since they did what they i'll take it to the appropriate bodies to show the practices they have are not in the realm of fair business practices. An iPhone 13 was purchased, about 10 months ago in 2022. I called Bell to have it replaced in early March 2023 and they approved it for replacement. I hadn't the opportunity to go exchange it and when I finally did over a month later. The Bell centre in Alberta said no: they refused it because it was physically damaged. "Of course, its damaged that's an accidental drop and I got authorisation to have it replaced. All this was explained to the customer support person" was exclaimed. I was very upset knowing I am out all my money. I was issued authorisation to get it replaced. Bell centre refused and when I called customer support to get an explanation they agreed with the centre and refused replacement. After explaining I received authorisation, I was not issued a reason why I could not have it replaced. That's exactly what happened, and this is why it's a scam to deal with Bell. Don't be fooled into believing accidental insurance pays for replacement: they do not, and I wasted hundreds of dollars during the ten months paying extra monthly charges to assume that Bell honors their obligation. BELL isn't fair and do not honor their obligation for accidental insurance. In fact, they renege on promise to do so. They over price their service and product to cover accidental insurance, they rob money from liability insurance because they can: it's a scam! Bell plays games sometimes, while finding reasons not to fulfill their obligation. Do not pay monthly accidental insurance when buying a cell phone. After this contract, I refuse to give them any more business.
