Ive HAD TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with BELL mobility. I strongly suggest not going through them. I got my new phone on the 31 of January, my first bill was on the 1st, so on the 6th I payed it with my credit card. Then on the 18th they took money from my bank account. So I called and got the money returned. But then my bill said I didnt pay that and had overdue charges on it, which I already paid my bill with my credit card. Now my credit card is saying they took money from it again. This is very frustrating since my family is living paycheck to paycheck. I will never go through bell again. read more

Bell is hands down the most atrocious service provider - not just for mobility, internet and tv, but for any kind of service. Their support department should be called customer negligence department, for the complete disregard for customer care. Every agent your handed off to requires a re-explanation of your issue, and god forbid you get connected to their support in the Philippines, who have no authority to resolve issues and no process in place to document notes for the customer issues. 7+ hours on the phone with them and the issue is still not resolved. Bell's quite rude and pushy. Their telemarketers snapped "Just listen!" when I said I'm not looking to switch back to Bell at the moment. So when I heard them out, they asked for information I wasn't obligated to give (what provider are you using now) and when I told them I wouldn't be answering that, they just hung up. Absolute Clown Show History of events: - Our internet went down on a Thursday. Called tech support and were told someone would come to repair on the Friday. I took the day off of work just for no one to show up. - Saturday. Was told a technician will come and they will not need access to inside the house. Technician came while we were not home but left because he said he needed access to inside the house. We called support again and were told they would call us back and send someone to install a temporary line on the same day. No one called back and no technician came. We were told someone would come Monday instead after calling support AGAIN. - Sunday. Customer service rep called to check on the status and we were informed our account showed no appointment for a technician to come Monday. - We have spent literally hours on the phone on hold, calling back and forth with several customer service reps all while being told something different from each person we spoke with. There is no organization, communication or competence within this Bell organization. Every employee we spoke with is completely clueless and has no idea how to perform their job. It is an absolute clown show. Do yourself a favour and think twice before signing up with Bell, or continuing to use them as your provider. When you need them the most, they will let you down over and over again. When I mentioned Mark's $60 offer, Joe eventually matched it after another 30 minutes of long holds. He then confirmed that a technician would install the internet on Tuesday, July 2nd. Tuesday, July 2nd: No one showed up to install the internet. Wednesday, July 3rd: At around 11 AM, I tried to resolve the issue via Bell's automated chat box and got connected to a live agent named Stephen. After repeatedly providing my information, Stephen still couldn't find any trace of my order. The chat then disconnected, and upon reconnecting, I discovered that Stephen had concluded the chat and deleted our chat history, claiming I had not responded. This was shocking and unprofessional. Later that day, I contacted Customer Loyalty and spoke with Maria, who was sympathetic and helpful. Unfortunately, she couldn't find any record of my previous order either. Maria placed a new order for me, but now the earliest installation appointment is Friday, July 5th, instead of the initially promised Tuesday. Additionally, Bell's system didn't accept my driver's license for the credit check due to an expiry date in November 2024. This required me to call another number to validate my license, despite being a current Bell customer with existing services. This entire process took another hour and was highly inconvenient. Overall Experience: I am deeply unhappy and disappointed with Bell Canada's service. I had to make multiple calls, spend several hours, and face numerous inconveniences for a basic service request. The young and inexperienced sales associates lacked proper customer service skills. The call center management failed to handle their staff effectively. Firstly, Bell doesn't acknowledge that they are constantly changing their prices on your monthly bill payments. I sent them an email with 2 separate prices for a my phone plans. one month the bill is $110 as it was when I signed the contract then I'm being charged $152 monthly several times. Also, I was taxed $95 on $300 on another bill. Bell staff and managers do not stick to their word and lie about contracts, promotion, payments arrangement, overcharge, Bell does not value their customers in any shape or form. FALSE ADVERTISING I received daily promotional emails of Bell Fibe 1.5GB service for $75/mth for 24 months for weeks now. 3 days after receiving the last promotion code, I go to Bell.ca online to register and Bell will not honour the email they sent me. Bell will only allow me to register at $95/mth for 24 months. $20/mth more than the email. Their promotional email to customers is VERY MISLEADING, click bait. - Jun 19 email saying $75/mth for 24 mths, then full rate of $110 applies. As of Jun 19, undiscounted plan rate is $110/mth. - Jun 22 I register and BELL system only allows for $95/mth for 24 months. undiscounted plan rate is $130/mth. Bell wasted my time again. read more

I have a small business. When I bought the store the owner was using Bell. when I took over I was NOT. I was always sent the previous owners outstanding bills even though I called and let them know I was a new owner and NOT using their services. I couldn't even change any info because I wasn't the previous owner. Unbelieveable. After 4 years a new rep came and was after me for at least a year to switch. He promised to make the other issue go away, (it was still ongoing and in collections, lol) which he did. He was a great rep and personally handled all issues I had. He's gone now and I can't wait to kick Bell to the curb. Their service is horrible. People on the phone are doing their best but the whole experience is horrible. I do not recommend Bell. Last June I paid my 2 accounts online but wow!! 3 payments for EACH of my accounts were charged. No money back even though it was THEIR issue. I was told I had unlimited talk and text to go to Mexico. I apparently didn't and called in about my $400 charge. the supervisor said " well why would you sign the contract? why would you even get the phone way back last year.. I said I got it at the end of November and traveled the beginning of March . I was walking past I looked into getting coverage and the lady there convinced me to buy a new phone so I went from virgin $54 a month (who I've dealt with for the last 10 years and are amazing) and then switched over to Bell for $90 a month why would I do that !?! and she's like exactly so basically they told me F off . do not use BELL read more

Simply awful. As one of the two largest networks in Canada, you would expect Bell Canada to be a bit more ethical and professional. This company is nothing but a bunch of rats in a trench coat. I switched to Bell only 3 months ago from Rogers because Rogers wasn't able to honour our internet price after the promotional period ended and I was shopping for a more reasonable price. Since the very first day with Bell I have been gaslit, lied to, and manipulated. I had a conversation with one agent who told me that they would be able to adjust my bill and speed once the modem was plugged in, and that she would call me the next day to connect me to the customer loyalty department to ensure the promotion advertised to me was honoured. She never called, and I got locked into a contract for internet that was much slower than was promised. When I called again, no agent would honour that conversation; there was no record of it anywhere except for my own handwritten notes. They don't put anything in writing so that they can deny whatever they want. I was told that the $60 connection fee for my mobility plan would be credited back to me on the first bill. 3 months later, I still have not received the credit and when I called to ask about it, the agent tried to confuse me with other credits on the bill (under Monthly Fees) and claimed that they only had to credit me $30. Finally, I cancelled my services and went back to Rogers (who gave me a much better plan and $100 credit right away, which was reflected on my very first bill. My Rogers service technician was punctual, polite, answered all my questions, and gave me his direct line in case we had any questions or needed help. Not saying Rogers is that much better, but the difference was stark). The Bell cancellation was processed on May 5, and I still received a full bill for the period of May 1-31. When I called about it, the agent said it would take 2 months for the refund to process and another 75 days to receive the cheque. Over 4 months in total to get back the money they charged without providing any service, and I am CERTAIN they do this so that consumers forget they are owed a refund in the first place. I have had to chase Bell down at every turn to advocate for myself and hold them accountable for the things they promise and I am exhausted and beaten down from it. I will NEVER sign up for a Bell service or any sister company of Bell ever in my life, and if this review accomplishes anything (I feel like I need to just scream into the void. Hello. I ordered online through the MyBell app, 1 month and 10 days ago Iphone 16 Pro Max. Just think about it - I waited almost a month and a half, and every week I called +18006670123 to find out the order status. And I was constantly told that there were some delays in 3 days you will receive a tracking number and the phone will be delivered within a week. And so a month and a half passed and one fine day on December 28, 2024 they simply cancelled my order without warning and didn't even inform me, I found out about this when I saw that my order was no longer visible in my account. Bell Mobilty needs to get competitive with their travel plans if they want the business. Currently, their roaming plan is $16/day in Europe for data and talk. I investigated options and found I can purchase an Esim card for $40 that allows my iPhone to work through a European provider while we are overseas. The caveat is that you need a phone that is not "locked" into Bell. The big question is "why wouldn't Bell keep their customers on a Bell plan by offering competitive rages"? I doubt that this review will make a difference to Bell's plans but it may result in other customers finding a more economical data plan when traveling overseas. read more

IF YOU ARE upgrading Apple phones with BELL: How is it on a device upgrade it now takes one month to get a phone? I upgraded 2 devices and it has been two weeks and the reps say it will be a couple more weeks because Apple is not supplying devices. I was also told that my devices were just waiting to be shipped by a separate representative. I was just informed that the devices I ordered were put on back order 2 weeks after I ordered the devices. One of the devices in use is broken. But every Bell representative doesn't care and "there is nothing we can do for you" is their favourite line or they say we passed it on to someone else! This is ridiculous that Bell cannot provide devices nor provide customers with the truth. Please share so no one else gets screwed by Bell. I am a victim of fraud by Bell Mobility I paid my Bell mobility account with their telephone payment system and my credit card. Payment was successfully charged to my credit card with the description of the transaction being "Bell Mobilty". However Bell refuses to recognize the payment. Instead they harassed me for more than 5 months by calling me several times a day asking me to settle the payment. I tried to explain the situation to them, I even called their investigation office but in vain. I made the payment in March, more than 5 months later it is still not resolved and now Bell is threatening to file a negative report with the credit bureau in order to damage my credit rating. If you have experienced the same situation please let me know how you got out of it. Worse experience ever. Spent one and a half hour on the phone a month ago to cancel my internet subscription because the facture almost doubled. I immediately sent back the router and got the confirmation email. One month later, I get a 110$ bill because apparently "I went back to the store to reopen my account". Don't even know where the store is, and don't even own their router. They know that. But they are okay with reopening previous clients accounts, making them pay for no service provided. I spent again one hour on the phone trying to get refunded (because they owed me 60$ from the month before as well, that they promised me) for THEIR mistake, but they played dumb, trying to sell some TV subscription instead. Was gifted a new iPhone 16 ProMax. Upon activation, discovered that it was SIM locked. Called Apple. Apple verified serial number and said Bell SIM locked the phone and only Bell could unlock it, at no cost. Called Bell. Bell took IMEI number and said they would unlock the SIM. SIM was not unlocked the next day. Called BELL. Was told it would take a few more days. Called Bell 2 days later. Was told this time, could only SIM unlocked by a Bell SIM, i.e I would have to sign with a Bell phone plan. Suggested me to go to the retail store for assistance. Went to the retail store on Upper James, Hamilton. Same run-around - have to get a Bell phone plan to unlock the SIM. Went to the retail store in Ancaster. Same run-around - trying to get me to sign up with Bell phone plan. Asked around my workplace and my wife's if any has Bell as courier. None has Bell phone plans. ~ 60 phones and NONE is using Bell......I wonder why!!? Called Bell one more time if SIM could be unlocked. Was told the phone can only be SIM unlocked by only Bell SIM card and the phone could be only with Bell SIMS and not other couriers even after it was unlocked by Bell SIM!! Last resort - went to Wireless Costco Ancaster for help. The associate popped in his Bell SIM card and now it is unlocked - No SIM Restrictions!! read more

It's the worst service ever! I have been overcharged and not able to see my account or view my bill for over a year after they charge my visa for new boxes that I didn't want because i owned all my receivers. Bell insisted that I needed these ones to be able to have satellite, and i was told that i would not be charged for these new boxes because i own all of mine. I got my 1200.00 dollars back but only in a credit so therefore i was unable to see a bill until all the credit was used. I then have a call on several occasions for help with my new receiver and haven't been able to watch TV in over a year. Cruel and unusual. Only concerned with getting money out of people. I spent DAYS arguing with more than 20 reps, when all I wanted was to close my late husband's mobile account and transfer my number to an account in my name. They kept disconnecting my number and telling me I had to pay up before they would talk to me. Finally, I was put on a plan, told it was all set. Then two days later I get a notification saying I was now on prepaid (Granted I had asked one of the many reps if I could go straight to prepaid, but was told by everyone else that it wasn't possible). I am writing to let you know my extreme frustration and service with Bell Canada internet service. I was cancelling my account with Bell and moving to ***. In the midst of transferring my internet service with Bell was cancelled on midnight June 14, 2024. I was not aware it was cancelled as Rogers sent this request which I understand. I called Bell the morning of June 14 and they tried to retain my service and provided me an offer and I decided to stay because I had work on Friday and needed my Internet service immediately. I was told by an agent after being on the phone for an hour that my service was back up and to reset my modem and she rushed me off the phone and said once the modem connects, it should be up and running. This did not work. I called back and spent another half an hour with another agent who told me that my modem was 9 years old and it sometimes will not work when you cancel and reconnect a service. She told me to go to a Bell store and take my old modem and get a new one. I went to the Bell store on Friday and they told me this is not how it works and I have a technician scheduled for Sunday, June 16. I stayed home until 1 pm as my scheduled service was from 8-12 pm. I have an email confirmation for the technician. I called and spoke to a case manager at 10 am to confirm someone was coming and they told me that it was not dispatched. This case manager said he would resolve it the latest Monday morning June 17. Noone called me the morning of June 17 and I left a voice messageto the same case manager and he has not returned my calls. I called the Bell customer service line and spoke to an agent who put me on hold for half an hour and then transferred me back to the queue and I got a new agent who had no idea about the issue and asked to verify me again and asked ridiculous questions like what light is flashing on your modem. Then I got transferred again to a case manager. These agents read off scripts and have no idea about common sense. The only thing that had to be done was to get a technician to me and it took them 4 days and it is not yet resolved. read more

I have to vent about my recent interaction with Bell mobility unethical sales practices. Specifically how I was deliberately misled about the ability to purchase a plan to allow my sons Samsung smart watch to function as a stand alone device while sharing my wife's cellular plan. I spent more that 2 weeks researching and discussing watch choices based on mobility package capabilities with Bell sales and technical people, who all said my request for stand alone phone number on the Samsung watch linked to the shared data cellular plan on my wife's phone was entirely doable. After purchasing the watch and setting up a cellular plan, my interation for over 2 hours with sales, technical and finally a case manager all ended with multiple disconnections and differing answers and no solutions. The fact that Bell's "customer service" inherently prevents contacting the same person who just disconnected you if step one of any warning I will give everyone about my Bell experience. Whatever you do, do NOT sign up for this company!! We were going to switch our home services to bell last year when the door to door salesman sold us on their deal, we had them come in and hook up the service and decided the EXACT same night to cancel bell because the internet speed was less than we had with cogeco (we never even cancelled our cogeco) returned the bell equipment as instructed and again we had the service in our home for a maximum of 24hours IF that...after all equipment was returned they continued to send us bills via email, each time we called they said "no, you don't have an account with us" this went on for months. Months of evenings spent on the phone with Bell Canada trying to get to the bottom of it, and not a single employee could tell us what the charge was for.....they reassured us it was an error and we owed nothing. Fast forward to today, we received a COLLECTION NOTICE for $337.87 for BELL!!!!! never have we been in collections and now our credit can be negatively impacted by this absolute scam of a company.
