Pretty much you are going to a middle man when you drop off your clothes. AND, most likely they are coming here for service. Simple solution, cut the middle man out and go straight to the source! So far I have been happy with this place as they are very quick to get my dry cleaning done for me, and more importantly, they do it right. The staff is helpful and if you ask for special requests they can accommodate. FYI: Only bad thing is they charge a fee for using credit card. They call it "Non Cash Adj", and it's about 4%. NOTE: They also do tailoring here, but I have yet to get anything done yet.

My first time back, this was how the conversation transpired: (Att - short for attendant) Me: I walk in and say: "Good Morning!" Att: Silence, she walks over from whatever she was doing, annoying that I interrupted her work and says: "telephone number?" Me: 516-..... Att: Silence... takes the clothes and start counting them. very awkward. Me: Just stand there... Att: After what it seems an eternity, she says: "Wednesday?" Me: "Can it be Tuesday?" Att: rolls her eyes and says: "Fineeeee..." Me: "Thanks!" take my ticket and leave. The same awkward silence when I picked up my clothes. Then, I came a second time and it was even worst. I had it. I grab my clothes back and left. There is no reason for this awful service. The thing about this behavior is that we literally have two to three cleaners per square foot... ok. I am exaggerating... After the ceremony, we quickly scooted out and walked right into the cleaners. We told them the strange request and asked if they could resew the seam right on the spot. They said yes, and showed him to the changing room so he can pass off the pants to the seamstress. In about 15 minutes, the pants 5-inch gap was resewed with a double-stitch. It was very well done, and we appreciated that they were able to drop everything they were doing and quickly make a mend. $12 well spent!!

He said it was my fault that I waited so long to bring up the issue, and he didn't apologize for the inconvenience. This store also smells of cigarette smoke like someone is actually smoking in the store. I'm not sure why anyone would take their clothes to a place that smells like cigarette smoke. I never leave reviews but this needed to be written.
