He tightened what needed to be tightened and showed me in my basement where the shut off value is to prevent any further leaking. He advised that he wouldn't charge me anything since he didn't really "do anything" but I still paid him. Time is money and it's the holidays. His honesty and reassurance of the issue and his care of showing me how to do something myself was worth writing a check. I highly recommend them and will continue to use their services when needed.

I am a 79 yr. old widow who a couple days ago called Elite Plumbing for a water in the basement…read moreproblem and was told the service would be $170. - $200. I think Travis was the name of the worker who came. He found that my basement wall was leaking and that he couldn't help me with that. I told him I wanted him to go ahead and snake out the sewer so I would not be concerned about it being plugged later on and he was already here anyway. I didn't want to have to pay for another service call. He snaked it out and got half of a 2 gal. bucket of tree roots out. I think he had been told not to snake the sewer because when he was cleaning up the mess Bret his boss showed up and Travis said she said she wanted it done. I had mentioned to Bret that while I also wanted to know how much it would cost for the faucet for my shower to be fixed because it was very hard to pull out to turn the water on and I was afraid I would end up breaking it and have water going all over the place. While I was getting ready to make out the check for the $245. they were charging me ,Bret asked if I wanted him to check out the shower faucet to and I said yes. He asked if I already had the check made out, I told him I could do a new one . He checked it out and said they would have to put a new cartridge in it and that the cartridge cost $100. and so the cost would be $250. I told him well I really needed it fixed so go ahead and do it. My total charge was $483. +some change. After they left I went to the bathroom to see how the new faucet worked and was so disappointed at the mess they had left. My bath brush looked like it had purposely had sewer sludge loaded into it, it was totally ruined and laying in the tub. The bath mat an the tub had the same sewer sludge on them. A man that was rebuilding some outside steps for me ask me how the plumbing job went. When I told him what I was charged he couldn't believe it. I told him about the 2 separate jobs and their cost. He said that the cartridge only costs $20 at the hardware store and it only took them about 5 minutes to change it. I really do feel like Bret scammed me because I am an elderly widow who lives alone. I have not confronted him because I hate strife, but know for a fact that he condemned his own soul to the judgment of hell for a couple hundred dollars. That tells me that he don't even think much of himself. I believe Travis would have been an honest man if it had not been he was afraid he'd lose his job for it. give a 2 star rating only because Travis did snake the sewer and cleaned up his mess but would give only a1 rating if I was rating just Bret. I was prepared to give a 5 star rating before Bret came along and things went the way they did.

I like that, as I can see cost to just fix the problem, or fix it 'better' such as replacing something etc. (sometimes duct tape works, but that doesn't mean it will last). They aren't the cheapest place around, but quality is worth it. They tell me who is coming for service with a picture, so never any doubts. The guys (or gals) are always friendly and polite, but professional, in person and when I call. Seth & Clayton are the best and have helped us a lot over the years & recently, Dalton too!

Paid $240 Upfront and the Job Is Still Not Finished…read more I hired Razo's Plumbing to replace an outside faucet while new siding was being installed on my house. The plumber came out and explained that he could not install the new faucet at that time because of the siding work. He removed the old faucet and told me he would come back to install the replacement. I paid $240 upfront for the job. Once I had the new 1/2-inch MIP faucet ready, I contacted him and sent him a picture. He told me, "I can stop by this Friday." Friday came and he did not show up. Since then, I have repeatedly texted asking when he is coming back. My messages have gone unanswered. It has now been two weeks, the job I paid for is still unfinished, and I am left trying to chase down the plumber just to get a response. I understand that schedules change. What I do not understand is taking full payment upfront, promising to return, not showing up, and then ignoring repeated messages from a customer. I have screenshots of the communication showing the promised return date and my multiple attempts to follow up. At this point, I simply want the job I paid $240 for completed or my money refunded. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Razo's Plumbing
