There really is a great selection of stores to choose from in the shopping mall. Situated right on the Mississippi river, at the end of Canal Street, this shopping mall is really easy to find. Once inside, the main thing you're gonna enjoy is being removed from the climate. Whether it's scorching hot outside, a day of full on humidity, or lost in rainy weather, you're gonna be out of the elements if you come shopping at this mall. That, in of itself, is a great feature of this New Orleans shopping establishment. You can pretty much find anything you need here. So, whatever clothing line, whatever type of clothing, whatever anything else you may need, you're probably gonna find it here. Great place to shop.

I like to shop stores like Johnston and Murphy, Tommy Bahamas, and explore Nordstrom Rack for deals. Parking is plenty and discounted, so don't forget to validate your parking ticket. There is a Cafe du Monde but there is usually a line so be patient. There is a somewhat hidden entrance in the Outlets that gets you to the neighboring Hilton without stepping outdoors which is convenient if you are staying there. The reason for 3 stars is that stores will randomly close leaving the mall seem empty. Some of the stores will solicit you to come get free samples of whatever they selling which could be annoying.

So many new shops I had never seen before and was glad we selected this place to meet up. Love the coffee shop and the variety of drink and food options, nice space to work and also relax on the outdoor patio when the weather is nice. The bookstore omg was so nice and learned they have so many events and activations. You must stop by and check it out. The service was great and I will be back again soon to experience more of their offering at the other shops. Love this for a meeting space or to just work remote as well.

I walked into one of the coolest book stores I've ever seen that is connected to a bar/lounge. Then I walked into a floral shop that had some really unique flowers and other things. I love flowers and I never knew we had such a cool shop in New Orleans. I also went into a gift store that had a lot of really nice gifts (many were from local brands). The next time I'm looking for a gift I probably can't find anywhere else that I know the receiver will love I know exactly where to go. The people at each store I walked into were so nice.

It is pretty straight forward, but the general population likes to make things difficult. This is fairly new (within the last 5 years or so), and is a better use of the area than what was here before. It is so easy to park, as all of the stores are within a short walking distance. I would suggest shopping here during the week as the weekends can be hectic, as well as the major holiday shopping times (or back to school times). The stores in this strip mall are major national chains, but just not easily accessible for driving or finding a parking spot. Go to the suburbs where the parking lots are larger.

It's a little confusing since there is a short bit of 6th street that looks like it might access the parking lot but it doesn't. You need to access at either Washington or Louisiana/Toledano Ave. Next time I'll stop by after work to avoid the Saturday crush.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. This shop stole $200 from me…read more I bought a dress here at the end of April for $200. I took the dress home, then found out the event I had been planning to wear it to was canceled. The following Friday I went back to the store to return it. No one was there, despite the signage and the website saying the store should be open. I called the number on the website and a different number on the front door asking when their hours were. Didn't hear back. Okay, fine. I sent them an email. Never heard back. I went back to the store the following Sunday. They're closed despite the signage, again. So finally on May 16th I bring the dress down there a third time, on a Saturday this time, and they're open. They explained that they don't usually do returns, but that they'd allow me to make a return this time, in exchange for a gift certificate, but it would take a few days to process. They wrote down my email, phone number, physical address, and said they would get back to me by the following Tuesday at the latest. I also left the dress with them, which now I see was a stupid move. It's June 2nd! I've called them! I've emailed them! I've physically gone down there, and they were, surprise, closed when they said they would be open! They have obviously not responded to anything. So: I don't have a dress. They have my $200. They're not returning my calls. What am I supposed to think, here? I'm obviously never buying anything from them again, and I strongly suggest you don't either.

A stylishly dressed mannequin caught our attention as we walked by the shop. We decided to stop in, peruse the shelves, and chat with the manager. The end we came in from started with food and there are beignets, oysters, boils, crawfish, and a whole bunch of other options. There is something for everyone to eat here. There is really a lot of everything at the French Market. Meaning, this is a great place to get that really unique gift that you wanna get for that special someone or to find that unique piece of whatever that you will personally use. As there are numerous shops here, each business provides a unique buying experience. Each one represents what they offer, and do it from their own perspective. From this, you'll find some shop merchants that are super friendly, very cordial, and more than willing to make deals with you. Others, not so much. But, that's what makes this location truly interesting. All the personalities that make up this shopping establishment. More than simply a place to shop for gifts, artworks, souvenirs, and the like, French Market also offers some great food stalls. So, if you need a snack, drink, or even a full meal, you can find it here. As this is open air, in the summer, it can get kinda hot inside this establishment. This is not bad or good, this is just something to keep in mind. This is the same during the winter months. You can't get kind of cold in there. But, at least from my perspective, that's a little bit easier to deal with. You just have to wear a jacket. Overall, this is one of the main stays of NOLA. It's truly a must see location.
