Not a lot of stores, but some to choose from. Looking for sunglasses. Finally found the sunglasses hut. A decent walk at least.

We've all been to outlet malls, usually on the outskirts of every American metro area at an exit off the interstate. Riverwalk has all that the others do, except they do it in the heart of America's best city. You'll find the usual national chains, like Nordstrom Rack, Tommy Bahama, Gap, etc., but you'll also find unique NOLA shops, eateries and, of course, daiquiris. It's an easy walk from anywhere in the French Quarter, CBD or Warehouse District, on the banks of the river near the cruise ship and ferry terminals. They also offer a paid parking lot, with validated options for locals.

Wish this was more open when I stopped through here ~8 in the morning. Only place open was Cafe su Monde (which opened at 8). I had a coffee au lait and beignets. Neither were my favorite but I enjoyed the experience and watching ships on the river. What I enjoyed even more were the wonderful store displays, though even the stores weren't open yet, I was still able to enjoy them. They were very well out together. Who would have thought walking to and back from the coffee shop there could be so much fun!

Stumbled upon The Riverwalk Marketplace on my most recent trip to New Orleans. Honestly, I don't know how I missed this place the last time, but I did... Anywho, the Riverwalk Marketplace isn't a market, but it's a mall, a pretty nice one. One that isn't too large, but has enough stores inside to keep you pretty busy. It's got two levels and to be completely honest, I stuck to the first floor. I looked around for awhile, but again, it's a mall. The same stores they have in every city. But they've got Puma, H&M, Nordstrom Rack, Kenneth Cole and a bunch of other places to shop. For me, it was a great place to get some air conditioning and be out of the sun for little while. I did pick up a few small items from the Last Call at Neiman Marcus, so it wasn't all for nothing. It's clean. I believe it's newly renovated. It's a nice mall. That being said, it doesn't really fit in the everything the Big Easy has to offer. I like it, yes, but there is so much more (that's better) out in the French Quarter. I would rather spend my tourism dollars on something more local than a shirt I can get back home. This is a nice mall for sure, but spend your money in the French Quarter. If nothing else, buy yourself a drink with the money you would have used for that shirt. You won't regret it.

What better way to spend the afternoon shopping in a cold mall in the middle of the summer. The mall looks fairly new and have a number of stores on a multi-story floor plan. My favorite was the fact that they had a Cafe Du Monde in the mall!!! If you're in search to do some shopping and wanting cafe du Monde then look no further!

Came here to stay a few days in the Big Easy before our cruise. The Riverfront Outlet has undergone an extensive renovation since my last visit around 4 years ago. They now have name brand outlet stores, (H&M, Kenneth Cole, Nordstrom Rack, etc.) an expanded food court, and access to the cruise terminal just a stones throw away. If you stay at the Hilton Riverwalk, it is adjacent to the mall so you don't have to go outside to enter it. The mall is bright and clean with plenty of security. I am really impressed with the quality of stores answer eateries now offered. All in all, a great place to browse and shop while in New Orleans and one I plan to visit quite often during my visits to N.O.

I love the water , watching the boats go by n shopping. How sway.. there is alot of construction n you have to pay attention to where you are walking. But the scenery is beautiful.

This place was awesome!Lots of shopping to be done here! It sits right on the water. They offer tables and chairs outside where you can over look the water and see all the barges and ships coming and going! Plenty of food spots with a variety of choices. There was a lot of people but not overwhelming. Parking can be tricky and the cost to park in their lot is not cheap either. They do offer validation but it only takes a certain amount off and you have to spend over $20

Early morning walk by The Mississippi!

Nice mall located on the Mississippi River in downtown! Name Brand shops with a beautiful view of the city and docking for the large paddle wheel boat used for dinner cruises!

You need a downtown mall that looks ritzy enough in every city and this spot does that job well enough. They are big enough to have a variety of stores and food spots and when you're finished your city tour continue no matter which direction you go in.

It was serene to watch the barges travel in the Mississippi river and the small tug boats that pushed them.

It is pretty straight forward, but the general population likes to make things difficult. This is fairly new (within the last 5 years or so), and is a better use of the area than what was here before. It is so easy to park, as all of the stores are within a short walking distance. I would suggest shopping here during the week as the weekends can be hectic, as well as the major holiday shopping times (or back to school times). The stores in this strip mall are major national chains, but just not easily accessible for driving or finding a parking spot. Go to the suburbs where the parking lots are larger.

Yay for keeping tax dollars in the city. The shops were all clean and the parking lot was a little bit tight on the grand opening weekend of deals. There was a fair amount of security presence which was mostly reassuring. The staffing was high in the shops I went into as the store management anticipated the hordes of shoppers. It's a little confusing since there is a short bit of 6th street that looks like it might access the parking lot but it doesn't. You need to access at either Washington or Louisiana/Toledano Ave. Next time I'll stop by after work to avoid the Saturday crush.
