At the beginning of my appointment, I showed the aesthetician the specific areas I wanted addressed and explained that I came to Dermani because my previous place wasn't thorough with extractions. She assured me she would take care of everything, no problem. However, before even starting the facial, she was fidgeting around for about 20-25 minutes, leaving the room multiple times. It became clear something was very off. The aesthetician (whose name I'll keep private) appeared to be under the influence. She was slurring her words, rambling incoherently, laughing, and unable to stay focused. A facial is supposed to be relaxing and peaceful, but this was the complete opposite. When the service finally ended, I asked for a mirror and saw that none of my areas of concern were addressed. I pointed this out, and she brushed it off by saying the blemishes were "under the skin," which was simply not true. Many had already come to a head and could have been easily extracted. She refused to correct it. Out of discomfort (and because it was closing time), I still tipped her just to avoid an awkward situation. The next morning, I called and spoke with the manager, Ashraf, who said she would refund me. However, only the facial was refunded, not the tip. When I called back, the front desk told me they had decided not to refund the tip, even after I explained why I had given it. I was told Ashraf would call me back, but after 24 hours, she never did. I ended up going to another spa two days later, and they were able to extract everything easily with no issue. Don't be misled by the 4.9-star rating. My experience was completely unacceptable and unprofessional from start to finish. I have proof of everything stated here.

Although this wasn't my first experience with Botox, I had a previous bad experience with filler. Becca took extra time and care to listen to my concerns and come up with a treatment plan that we both felt comfortable with. My results are natural and subtle but also very effective. At that point, Meirielly Teixeira informed me she would no longer be paying for my treatment even though the specialist was not finished repairing the damage. I tried to be fair and asked her to agree to pay for at least another year because the specialist said it would probably take about that long. SHE REFUSED! They went back on the promise that they made to me! I am deeply hurt by this! My legs are damaged and I can not afford the cost of the specialist to repair them!
