As we explored, we came across Bella Creamery and wow, the shop is absolutely adorable! The customer service felt so authentic and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I ordered a coffee and Oreo & cream cone, while my mom had a strawberry cone. Both were incredibly creamy and delicious. The outdoor seating area was the perfect touch; the weather was beautiful, and it was so relaxing to sit and enjoy our cones while watching people and cars pass by. Fantastic, unique ice cream served by friendly people! I was out to dinner with friends in Selma and suggested Bella because it's worth going out of your way for. They have traditional ice cream plus sheep's milk ice cream and they also serve some Fresno State ice cream. I chose black coffee chip and peanut butter Oreo which was a great combo. Such a cute little ice cream shop in downtown Kingsburg. After having some good food at roadhouse 99, we wanted something sweet and got some yummy ice cream. When we walked in they were busy but the staff still welcomed us. What I liked about bella creamery is they do other things than just ice cream on a cone/milkshake. They have different specialties such as sundaes, banana splits, and brownie sundaes. We got cookies and cream with a homemade waffle cone. This was our first stop in California and it did not disappoint at all. It's a cute little shop in a small little town. What is unique about this place is that they have a selection of sheep's milk ice cream. Apparently it's for lactose intolerance people and is healthier. My husband and I ended up just trying the sheep's milk ice cream and got the black coffee chocolate chip, the lingonberry swirl and the brown sugar salted ice cream in waffle bowl. Each scoop was generous for the pricing. The flavors was all very good. My favorite is definitely the brown sugar salted ice cream. It was a perfect balance between salty and sweet. The ice cream in general doesn't look as creamy as cow's milk but it tasted as creamy. Definitely a good first stop for us. If we drive back to the airport when we leave and is headed in this direction, we will definitely be back read more

Came here upon the recommendation of a local, who specifically mentioned the "sheep milk ice cream." Getting inside, though, was a bit of work on my part. The hours posted show it opens at 11am . . . so I came by here about 11:30. No sign of life. And no sign of information advising of a delay, either. Hmmm. I checked in at Bella Bakery, almost next door (where I had to sample some of THEIR treats!) and was told they would open at noon. You see where this is going, right? !2:30, and still not open. I gave up on my quest, and visited a couple of more local stores before heading out of town. By a quirk, I was driving out of town down the street it is on and saw people inside! Could it be?! I chanced it, parked and walked up and yes, they were scooping! At 1:30pm. I know things are tough still for businesses, perhaps more so in a small town, but a sign in the window advising of a delay or even unexpected day long closure does wonders for customer relations and your brand. Just saying. Anyway, I did get my 2 scoops of sheep milk ice cream, the Boysenberry Swirl. The price, at under $6, was a deal. It was VERY cold, very berry, with lots of flavor and frozen berries mixed in and it didn't taste like cow milk ice cream, but to this day I do not know how to describe the difference. I can say it was delicious, and perhaps lighter than cow milk ice cream, but otherwise a great taste! They do have cow milk ice cream as well, so you can go Old School if you wish. We finally had the chance to try this creamery. The lady was really welcoming and took the time to explain the products and the difference between the milk. They serve Fresno state ice cream for the dairy tolerant and have goat milk and water buffalo milk options for the dairy intolerant. My husband and I decided to try the not so conventional milks and really if I didn't know I would have never known. Both kinds were creamy and delicious. The whole place is super cute from the brick walls to the neon sign to the pink Swedish horse outside. They have cow's milk ice cream from Fresno State as well as ice cream made from sheep's milk (lactose free) and water buffalo milk (gentler on the stomach). The alternatives were not as creamy as the cow's milk ice cream but all the flavors were great. This shop opened up a few months ago during the pandemic. It's very small so due to social distancing there's usually a line outside. They only allow 1-2 parties inside. My husband and I went a few days after they opened up in May. We were fourth in line so we waited for a bit. There was a person/worker by the door directing customers and having conversations during the wait. We thought she was quite nice and friendly. The thing that makes this ice cream shop unique is they offer Negranti sheep's milk ice cream. If that's not your thing they have regular ice cream as well. We had peeked at the menu from their Instagram before so we already knew what we were going to order. Besides quickly ordering we took a few pictures in front of their cute neon "treat yourself" sign. While we were taking pictures my husband told me to hurry because the couple behind us was just staring at us impatiently. After we walked out they made a remark that we took a long time and the person letting the people in laughed and agreed. We thought it was kind of unprofessional so minus a star. Despite that situation, the ice cream was really good. The strawberry basil felt very light. It makes such a good combination. All in all, it was a great experience to try sheeps milk ice cream. Stopped here for a quick treat on a road trip with my daughter. Very interesting selection of regular cow milk ice creams *and* those from sheep and water buffalo. My daughter got the 'salted brown sugar' sheep's milk and I got 'banana nutella' water buffalo milk ice cream. Both were delicious. But, a word of warning. The alternate milk products were said to be lactose-free. As someone who is lactose-intolerant, I didn't want to take their word for it and looked it up. Not only is the buffalo-milk *not* lactose-free, it's content is said to be slightly higher than that of cow milk. I definitely took my pill. It also has twice the fat, so keep that in mind if you think you're getting a "healthier" option. In Kingsburg, there is no other superior place for ice-cream than Bella Creamery. I had it for the first time yesterday and the product is second to none! These chain ice-cream places are good, but cannot touch the superior product that Bella Creamery dishes up. I also have to give a shout out to Lauren. Bella Creamery doesn't know what kind of gem they have working for them. Lauren was the ideal customer service/ food preparation employee. She was kind, helpful and charismatic! She should be the standard of which all food service employees should be judged. Keep it up Lauren, you're going places. This 5 star is for you! I did not try the sheep's milk ice-cream so I cannot review that. It is also fair to note that this location is somewhat more expensive than a chain, but stands to reason. Support small businesses!!! This was my first visit to the city of Kingsburg and I was impressed with the whole town but what put the cherry on top was my visit to Bella's. The building is beautiful with a great mix of old and new design. The staff welcome you in with open arms and help you navigate your way through there menu to make sure you get the food you really crave. The choices of ice cream are limited but you can get a non dairy option for those of us with lactose problems. My kids decide on milk shakes and root beer floats and they loved every bite. Bella Creamery is right around the corner from Bella Bakery, right off the main downtown Kingsburg street, Draper. This ice cream shop is so eye catching and cute! Love the simple but extraordinary decor. They had a lot of ice cream to choose from (hand scooped) and some more flavors already packed in pints in a fridge for you to choose from. I chose one from the freezer and 2 hand scooped pints. They have sheep milk and cow milk based ice creams. I tried a sheep milk ice cream, cookies and cream flavor--excellent! The sheep milk ice cream has a similar consistency of homemade ice cream. The cow milk ice cream I tried was cake batter with rainbow sprinkles-wow so creamy and not too sweet, just right. The last one I tried was strawberry basil--very good! Strawberry ice cream might be my new fav! Looking forward to trying more of their flavors.
