Ice cream trailer across the street at the park
    Maiden B.

Wanted to try some ice cream from this local shop. Went to the address listed on Yelp and it was under construction. Sign outside of the business said to check out their trailer across the street at the park. Was so glad to try their ice cream. My fiancé got the junior stack of chocolate chip and I got a single stack of strawberry and chocolate chip. The ice cream servings were huge and definitely hit the spot on a warm spring day. The 2 workers were kind and gave their suggestions. Will definitely have to come back when their shop is fully operational and open.

Grabbed a quick desert with friends, and it was so good! The ice cream was fresh, creamy, and had such giant portions. We all tried different flavors, but our favorites were the mint chocolate chip and cookies and cream. I got a "junior" size and was completely shocked when they handed it to me.

I came here years ago. Was excited to be visiting again and try the super size scoops of ice cream. Looks like they are remodeling? It was Winter Wonderland across the street so there was a line of customers all trying to get icecream.

Place is under renovation right now so ordered from their cart located outside the business. Two young men were nice and quick. They allow samples. Ice Cream was good, just got the child's chocolate ice cream. Decent price and it was a big serving.

Heard a lot about this place, so knowing me I had to try it. Menu is pretty limited ; maybe about ten flavors ; and options of sundaes and etc. I opted for a sundae and some toppings; boy was it tasty. Nice treat. That homemade peanut butter sauce; is nice and gooey and thick. You can tell it isn't straight from a jar; like some ice cream shoppes. My sister ordered a small scoop of banana ice cream; the portion was epic. The staff was friendly! They do give you a lot of ice cream for the price! Cons- they should give you a bigger cup for your ice cream; so you don't lose half ur treat everytime you dip your spoon in it. Please remodel the dining room; or at least put some benches outside to sit at; literally no where to sit in the hot baking sun. Some people had to go eat in their cars; we walked across the street in the square to eat ours; it was good... but not a lot of shade in three digit heat.

We decided to take the train to Hanford to join in on the Fresno tradition. We went to Superior Dairy, I didn't know they were under construction. So they have a cute little trailer across the street. Service I think is slower because they can only fit 2 people in there at a time to make the ice creams, milkshakes etc. The ice creams are HUGE. A single is like a double, I mean really huge. A Jr size is a good size, it's a normal sized ice cream. The thing is, if you order toppings they put them on the side. I don't know if it's because they don't have proper bowls to hold the ice cream right now due to being in a trailer. But they scooped two of the ice creams and then we waited another 5 minutes for the other two and then gave us all the toppings, so my niece and nephew had already eaten half their ice cream before they got the toppings. The ice creams are so huge and the bowls are so small it's hard to even put the toppings on. We kind of just dipped our ice cream in the toppings. They only had one non dairy option I believe it was a strawberry freeze. I could be wrong. My nieces and nephew enjoyed the ice cream but didn't finish it due to it being too large. Now I know, I will order Jr sizes next time and maybe bring bowls with us so we can properly put on the toppings. It was a fun experience and you get a good amount of ice cream but the price is on the pricier side. The Jr side is a good price and a good amount of ice cream.

Not allowed to be inside business- after receiving ice cream you need to leave. We were excited to come here and have some ice cream with family. We tried the peach (seasonal flavor) and the mint and chip. The mint and chip was ok, the peach didn't have a lot of flavor, and the toppings were from a can. The ceiling was very cool looking. The line was long but moved pretty fast. Went to go sit and wait, was yelled at across the restaurant that we can't sit and have to go outside as soon as we get our ice cream. Not the greatest experience. No ambience, no outdoor seating, no seating at all unless you go across the street.

    Worst banana split presentation

Drove almost 200 miles (way) to have lunch with my bro. Wanted ice cream afterwards. HUGE disappointment. Just one person in line and it took 10 mins to complete their order. We ordered a banana split and 3 separate cups of other flavors. We waited 20 minutes for our order. Ice cream is okay and I might have given 2 stars. HOWEVER, the banana split came in a tall coffee/beverage cup. See picture. Seriously, who serves banana split like this??? They can't even buy plastic banana split bowls to present ?? So unappetizing to look at. Unbelievable. One star.

Pistachio and chocolate both delicious flavors! The chocolate had ice chunks throughout
    Benjamin G.

Everything had a positive and a negative aspect to it. As soon as you walk in it felt nostalgic and looked like you stepped into an old movie set, yet it smelled like an old lady farted urine onto a dead possum. The seats and tables were classically charming, yet they were rendered useless. The ice cream was delicious, yet there were an unacceptable amount of ice chunks in the chocolate ice cream. Hopefully this place gets cleaned and restored back to its old glory.

Is your dinning room back open or are you guys still COVID terrified?

The latter. The interior is need of a serious overhaul. Check out my thorough review.

Can we buy a whole tub of ice cream?

    Yes you can.

So they don't actually have a row of ice cream to see and pick/choose from?

Yes they do but they just give you s menu.

Do they have to go bowls for sundaes?

Yes. We had (7) orders of Ice cream and all were served in styrofoam cups. We didn't have lids on ours because we ate in. You will lose a little with lids because the cups without lids are stacked ridiculously high with ice cream which is a good…

Does superior dairy serve sugar free ice cream for diabetics?

I believe they did have some sugar free sorbets but as far as other flavors that might have changed since I've been there.

We'll let me just say, they did not disappoint! I think the flavor, as far as an ice cream version goes, was spot on. They even had the little tiny thin crunchy pieces mixed in, called Kataifi. Which, I believe you can request without if you're not fond of the texture, but I would not recommend omitting them as they would take away from the entirety of the Dubai Chocolate flavor experience. Don't forget, they also sell more than just ice cream here. They have dipped apples, truffles and ice cream cakes too!!!

They had two waffle makers going, two people working nonstop to satisfy the orders, and a few scrumptious choices. The waffle gets curled into a cone, placed into a sleeve, and filled with ice cream and your preferred toppings. When my friend and I arrived, I noticed the beautifully designed tile roof of the building. Upon entering, I admired how clean the restaurant was and how well it represented Chinese culture through its lovely design. When the food came out, the presentation was impeccable. But then I took a bite. The food was, by far, the oiliest I've ever had--and I'm a big fan of junk food. It was so oily that I could barely finish half of my plate, and the excess oil completely affected the flavor of the dish. To top it off, after paying $3.35 for my Diet Coke, I was only allowed one refill. Maybe I'm a glutton for refills, but I mention it because it's something refill lovers should know. When the appetizers came out, I was genuinely excited to give this place a five-star review and even planned to invite friends to eat here the following week. But after the overly oily meal and the disappointing refill policy, this experience turned into a two-star one for me. Try it for yourself and let me know what you think.
