I just want to make sure that I'm clear about the failed "Lowest Price Guarantee". After making two separate efforts to clarify why Precision's price quote was so high and why the Lowest Price Guarantee wasn't being honored, I went with another company. And, I'm really happy that I did. The company that earned my business, was not only comparable, but, in my opinion even superior. Muhammad's response appears to indicate that the companies that gave me price quotes were somehow inferior. Precision has been in business 18 years, and the company I went with has been in business longer. Precision's price quote was much higher than the competition and was for a Cadillac or Volvo sedan, not the beautiful new black SUV that picked up my girlfriend. Lastly, the professional chauffer that was our driver, was impeccably dressed in a black suit and tie. Our driver had over 30 years experience as a licensed, professional chauffer. This gentleman even showed up 25 minutes early! What an incredible experience! Muhammad, I truly appreciate your response and your generous offer. The purpose of this updated review was to clarify that the company that we went with, was not inferior in any way. For some reason, you referenced Uber or a taxi service in your response. I hired a superior, licensed, insured and incredibly professional competitor. Price was certainly not the only deciding factor. During our holiday party, the driver refused to transport employees to pre-approved locations--despite written confirmation at the time of booking, which I retained. The three stops were all within half a mile of each other, and the venue itself was only three miles away, making the refusal both illogical and unnecessary. The driver was abrasive with our employees, and dispatch was equally unpleasant. While I understand the driver was following instructions, his tone and handling of the situation were entirely within his control and were unprofessional. The only resolution offered was removal of the driver's tip, which failed to address the broader issue of how the situation was managed by the team as a whole. Despite this, I gave Elite another opportunity for a Yankees game outing--and unfortunately, it was another poor experience. The bus's air conditioning was not functioning on the way down in 80-degree weather, making the ride extremely uncomfortable. We arrived at the stadium hot, sweaty, and exhausted. When I followed up the next day, the manager, Chelsea, was dismissive and unwilling to take any responsibility for the malfunctioning A/C or radio, citing that the vehicle had passed inspection prior to dispatch. She also questioned why I didn't report the issue immediately when the bus arrived, which was frustrating and misplaced. We were communicating with Ricardo (our very pleasant driver) how hot it was and he said it wasn't working properly. (Note: the bus arrived @ 4pm and I emailed them at 5:30pm.) The bottom line though is that it's unclear what could have been done mid-trip to resolve a mechanical issue, and placing that burden on the customer is unreasonable. There appears to be a consistent lack of accountability across the organization. The only remedy offered in both instances was removing the driver's tip, which does not address the root problems. The fact that their only proposed resolution is to remove the driver's tip is telling of how they treat their employees. This was an opportunity to make things right, but instead reinforced my decision not to use Elite again--and to advise others to avoid them as well.
