I have to admit. This is my first Yelp review. I use Yelp when I am not sure of a place so why not right a review of this Spa. I absolutely love it! Bella Faccia is a hidden gem for facials and other spa treatments. Located on Broadway in Everett, the Spa is an one-room office/spa. The room is very inviting and so is Lorraine, the owner. I went for a facial on a Saturday morning (very accommodating). Lorraine is very inviting and warm professional. She explained to me what will happened and told me what she will be using. I received a nice pumpkin exfoliation, peel and later steam and extraction (deep pore facial). While waiting for the peel to dry, she gave a nice massage on knees, legs and arms; massaging my head while in her soothing voice, telling me to let go of negative thoughts and breathe in positive energy. Love it! Expect to spend at least an hour and half for her treatments. I thought I was getting a facial only but it was more than that. It was worth the time spent. I spent $ 75, which I thought was just a facial but I felt I received more. It felt like an exclusive, elite spa treatment for more than $100 dollars. I went to check to have a facial due to some skin problems that I've having lately and as soon you walk in, you feel welcome by Lorraine. She has a great vibe, ask you about you are looking for and what you will get in her session. She walk you through the process (first time having facial so I didn't know what to expect). Well, a good surprise Lorraine works restoring body, mind and spirit so you feel totally relax!!!! Totally recommend her. I will start by saying that the entire experience was way more than a facial. You feel comfortable as soon as you enter and throughout it seems that all my stress melted away. Lorraine is so lovely and I felt like I've known her forever. To start she talked to me about my skin which quite frankly I knew nothing about, then she explained what the process would be like and the products she would use on me. Everything felt amazing including my face at the end of the session. I had no idea my face could feel this smooth. Lorraine is truly a master at her craft. I am a man and was looking for a good cleansing. This place was recommended by a friend and I have to say, it was great. It was not just a facial but a total relaxation treatment. She is passionate about her trade and takes the time to explain what she sees, how she will treat it and then goes to work. Just got home from a wonderful facial. Lorraine doesn't just focus on your face but works your neck, chest, shoulders and arms. You feel warm and swaddled in steamy towels while she uses hot stones to focus on pressure points and release stress. She mixes both clinical methods with Eastern style Chakra and hot stone therapies. I would definitely recommend her services and look forward to going back. read more

I am known to be a spa queen. I have been to spas all across the country and to some outside of the US and I haven't found someone that approaches their practice in the way Lorraine does. Lorraine is a true healer and exercises her gift when you come in for treatment. I have enjoyed being able to share what my ailments are and be open to getting the treatment that she finds to be the most helpful. I've incorporated breathing exercises, visualizations of energy centers, music, massage, reiki, and even clinical facials, during my visits. I love doing the healing sage treatment along with whatever else I get. I leave feeling renewed and inspired inside and out. Also, the first time I came to Lorraine was about two years ago. At the time, I had been suffering of a terrible chronic headache for about two months. My doctors were not able to tell me a cause or provide a solution. However, as soon as Lorraine checked me out, she identified that I was grinding and that it was pretty bad, which was causing my severe headache. I later went to the dr. and it was confirmed that I was in fact grinding and this was causing my headache. I was lucky to have found Lorraine! Hope she passes on her knowledge to others in her field so that they learn their gifts and can exercise them instead of being confined to the normal and predictable "swiss massage" etc. Thank you! read more

I think I've found my person!! Lorraine is the best, she is thorough and you leave there feeling so light! I usually get the Organic Detox for your Neck and Back and it's fantastic. I highly recommend her and want to try her other treatments in the near future. I've gone twice so far and will definitely be a regular. read more

No one is better than Lorraine. I've tried many high-end places in Boston (including Newbury St), and the facials simply cannot compare to those Lorraine gives. She takes the time to educate you on your skin and the proper treatments to use for your particular skin type. She walks you through her treatment, step by step. She uses high end products which works well, smell great and do not irritate the skin. As an added bonus, Lorraine's presence is simply calming. Being around her brings you an immediate sense of tranquility. She is so sweet and caring. You will feel comfortable as soon as you meet her. Not only does Lorraine give you a fabulous facial, she often incorporates elements of the chakras/reiki and sometimes incorporates a mini hot stone massage...all for the price of a facial! You cannot get this level of service, especially at the prices she has, anywhere else. I have been a loyal customer of Lorraine's for about 15 years now, and I will continue to go to only her for as long as she is in business.
