I have lots to say for this review! We had an ice maker leak in February that caused some damage to our kitchen and adjoining rooms. We originally decided to go with the network that worked with the company that helped us with the leak. It was going well and we got what we needed from insurance but for the rebuilding side of the project we didn't feel like we were much of a priority so towards the end of September, we reached out to Monica because two of our neighbors used her and were super happy. Monica came out right away and during our first meeting, I just knew that I wanted to work with her due to her creativity and professionalism. Once we pulled the trigger and hired Monica (we had to get out of our contract with the first company so that took some time), she started right away. We went and picked out all of the pieces for the remodel together. She listened to our thoughts and incorporated them into her designs for us. We had our entire downstairs redone. All new floors, new paint on all of the visible walls downstairs (went upstairs too), new baseboards, new sink and fixtures, we extended our counter to allow for open seating, refaced kitchen cabinets with new features that I wanted to add. We redid our guest bathroom as well. Refaced cabinets, lights, mirrors new paint and fixtures. Our family room got a fireplace make over too. I also have new light fixtures and chandeliers throughout our downstairs that her electrician installed for us. He also replaced and added sockets for us in the kitchen. I'm sure there is more that we did, but I'm drawing a blank. I'll add! But long story longer, it's November 17th and just a couple more little tweaks and we will be done and this only because we keep adding stuff to do because we love how things are coming along! Anyway, I guess all of this is to say that you WANT to hire Monica, whether you think you do right now or not! Hired Bella Interior to remodel an extra bedroom for my granddaughters when they visit. I had a deadline and we finished earlier. The design is so adorable and the workmanship is top notch. The subs all showed up on time and were very polite and professional. This all speaks to Monica's great vision combined with the capability to manage and bring it all together. DO NOT RECOMMEND! As previous yelp reviews have stated, Monica is a horrible business person. She also doesn't know how to do flooring. She also doesn't stand behind her work as she refuses to respond to messages and phone calls - because she knows her flooring work is TERRIBLE. My flooring has warped, sharp pieces have come apart, there is a horrible cracking sound when you walk over the flooring because it's uneven and was not installed properly. The fact that she ignores my calls and messages further proves she doesn't stand behind her work and won't fix it. DO NOT USE HER FOR ANY WORK unless you want problems that she will hide from!!!! Completely inappropriate (but you are 100% THIS) for you to post someone's personal address - additionally, it violates yelps policies - but I would expect nothing but this from you, Monica. You are completely unprofessional and your work is TERRIBLE - and you don't stand behind it... so this is all in line with you and your 'business' - You chose to ignore my calls because you knew your work was shotty and you didn't want to deal with it - so you call it "harassment" - typical of you to lie!! I have been putting off getting the interior walls of the house painted for years. Sure I have made many attempts with samples on the walls, but couldn't make a decision as to what color to use and what was the latest in trends. I finally threw in the towel and seeked professional help. I asked Monica to come look at the house and offer advice on colors to choose from. I also asked her to pick a color for the stairway handrail, my previous color was the natural wood. Based off of my flooring and furniture, she chose both colors, and it looks great. She was quick to setup a day and time, quick to get the painters here, and the job was done in one weekend. We are newly married and wanted a "refresh" to my husband's 30 yr. old house to update and also reflect "us." Monica understood our needs immediately and gave helpful ideas on her initial visit. We decided to hire her to lead the way and she has at every step. after years of trying to make our home spacial / beautiful, it become clear to me that my wife and I are no interior designers. So I took the internet and found Monica, her reviews are great, (as you'll can see for yourself). My thought was to give my wife a Christmas gift of an interior designer services. So I set an appointment with Monica for Saturday morning December 23 2017 and told my wife that I hirer an interior designer as her Christmas gift. On Friday the 22 I email Monica to confirm our appointment. I was taken back when no reply was sent. Nevertheless I waited and waited all Saturday morning. She never called nor made made any contact. She might be an outstanding interior designer??, but I can tell you with 100% certainty she's a crapy business person. Monica and her crew did an AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL job transforming our kitchen from dark and outdated to light, bright, and contemporary! They painted our cabinets white and replaced our backsplash to subway tiles, and we can't be more than happier. What's great about Monica is that in the end, she combs through the entire kitchen and points out imperfections herself, and makes sure her crew fixes what needs fixing. I had one night to pick all the colors for our new house before the painter could start the job, and I felt overwhelmed. I contacted Monica and she showed up the next evening. She did a wonderful job helping my husband and I picking each color for each room with no furniture in place, and just a sample of flooring. After a year living in our house, we like the colors, no complain and I regularly got compliment on the color of our dining room. Moreover, Monica was available by phone and text and very responsive when I had questions during the painting process.
