Bella Interior Creations By Monica - View of the kitchen from the family room

Bella Interior Creations By Monica

I have lots to say for this review!…read more We had an ice maker leak in February that caused some damage to our kitchen and adjoining rooms. We originally decided to go with the network that worked with the company that helped us with the leak. It was going well and we got what we needed from insurance but for the rebuilding side of the project we didn't feel like we were much of a priority so towards the end of September, we reached out to Monica because two of our neighbors used her and were super happy. Monica came out right away and during our first meeting, I just knew that I wanted to work with her due to her creativity and professionalism. Once we pulled the trigger and hired Monica (we had to get out of our contract with the first company so that took some time), she started right away. We went and picked out all of the pieces for the remodel together. She listened to our thoughts and incorporated them into her designs for us. We had our entire downstairs redone. All new floors, new paint on all of the visible walls downstairs (went upstairs too), new baseboards, new sink and fixtures, we extended our counter to allow for open seating, refaced kitchen cabinets with new features that I wanted to add. We redid our guest bathroom as well. Refaced cabinets, lights, mirrors new paint and fixtures. Our family room got a fireplace make over too. I also have new light fixtures and chandeliers throughout our downstairs that her electrician installed for us. He also replaced and added sockets for us in the kitchen. I'm sure there is more that we did, but I'm drawing a blank. I'll add! But long story longer, it's November 17th and just a couple more little tweaks and we will be done and this only because we keep adding stuff to do because we love how things are coming along! Anyway, I guess all of this is to say that you WANT to hire Monica, whether you think you do right now or not! Her crew will be able to take care of all of your redesigning needs with professionalism and care! Thank you, Monica! We'll be in touch for the upstairs! Angela & Brian Marler Castaic, CA

Hired Bella Interior to remodel an extra bedroom for my granddaughters when they visit…read more I had a deadline and we finished earlier. The design is so adorable and the workmanship is top notch. The subs all showed up on time and were very polite and professional. This all speaks to Monica's great vision combined with the capability to manage and bring it all together. I'll wrap this review up by saying the project went better than I imagined.

A leak in our primary bathroom finally pushed us to do the biggest remodels we've ever done. We…read morehave done smaller projects and I have never been happy with how they've turned out. I've gone the cheaper route, or went with a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy and it never looks right. Things have been the wrong color, don't work well together, or I had zero understanding of size and scale. And throughout these other projects there were surprises and problems and scheduling conflicts I had to answer to and solve - and I had no idea what I was doing. So when we took on the biggest project we've done (a primary bathroom and a kids bathroom remodel), we decided to take the plunge and hire someone. We looked around Yelp and Instagram for designers in our area. And that's how we met Jamie. There's a few ways to hire her - she can do the design and step away from the project, or she can do the design then work with your preferred contractors, or she does the design and works with her guys. I also know that she can step in if you're half way into a project and things aren't going well. We decided to go all-in and have her do the design and work with her guys - it was perfect. For each bathroom we talked about our preferences, our habits, she perused my Pinterest board, met with us about likes and dislikes and then presented 3 totally unique bathroom designs for each space. Each design we loved more than the last and would have gladly had any of them in our home. We picked our favorite overall designs and moved forward! She was so spot-on with her designs matching to our preferences that I felt like I could trust her to do things how we would like it best. Jamie also pushed us to look at new elements or options that challenged us design-wise resulting in a far more gorgeous and polished bathroom. She handled all the questions, all the scheduling, all the details. She'd route things to me for a final ok if necessary, but towards the end I just trusted her to do her thing. I didn't have to worry about anything - Jamie knew in what order things needed to be done and worked with her preferred vendors allowing (I think) more flexibility and accommodations than I would have gotten calling up random companies. Everyone who worked on the project knew Jamie was in charge and would have all the answers - it made it so easy for us. We were able to move on with our life (including business travel, family vacation, and even a quick hospitalization) while Jamie was taking care of the remodel and design. She is personable, friendly, and a perfectionist. So easy to work with and talk to. As much as I love her, I think my kids love her even more. We are already thinking of our next projects we want Jamie to tackle!

What a wonderful experience working with Ana and her husband. She's so professional, trustworthy,…read morehonest, and super nice. The workmanship her husband did on our two chairs were amazing. I wish I had the before photos of the chairs. But trust me, the material before on these two chairs were nothing compare to what Ana and her husband did. The cambric-bottom fabric on the sofa, two chairs, and an arm-tablet desk all needed replacing and some sections were missing gimps. Luckily, I found California Interiors Upholstery right here in the neighborhood. From my first phone call with Ramon, I felt confident I had found the right person to trust with such meaningful heirloom pieces. He gave me a fair quote and took the time to understand exactly what I needed. When I visited the shop, I had the pleasure of meeting his wife Anna and their two children, who were all helping out--it's truly a family-run business, which made the experience even more special. They did an outstanding job. My mom's furniture looks absolutely beautiful again--like new, but still full of its original character and memories. I couldn't be happier with the results. Highly recommended!
