The next stylist I saw said this haircut is terrible, it's not blended at all. Yes I realize the haircut is bad. I wish stylists wouldn't embark on a haircut they can't do. It's frustrating to get a haircut and have the next person go, yikes. The best thing would have been for her to tell me, I don't do shorter hair or I can't cut your hair but don't say I do precision haircuts because there wasn't anything precise about my cut. I feel bad leaving this because she was very sweet and she definitely tried, but I expect someone with 30 years of experience to do a great job or to tell me they can't cut my hair. My stylist finished early and was calling her next client to see if they could come in sooner, so I was surprised to see an additional $20 charge for covering my roots. I've never been charged an extra fee for this at any other salon. I also purchased a bottle of shampoo that was 25% off. When I was checking out, I thought the shampoo was being separated from my service total, but apparently it wasn't, so I ended up tipping on the shampoo as well. There was also an additional charge of approximately $10 on my receipt that I still can't identify or explain. To be clear, Olya was great and did a phenomenal job on my hair. I was very happy with the result. However, the pricing and unexpected additional charges were disappointing. If you're considering this salon, I would strongly recommend asking for a detailed breakdown of pricing beforehand. Unless you're prepared to spend quite a bit, there may be more reasonably priced options elsewhere.
