I go to Diana for eyebrow waxing and she is amazing. I've been going to her since she was at her previous job and drive all the way from prunedale to Hollister because of her. She is super accommodating, friendly, and does a fantastic job. She is very detail oriented and double checks her work. I've gone to a few people before her and no one comes close. I met Diana today for lash extensions, I've had them in the past and actually took a break for a couple of months. I was referred to her by a friend and this is one of the best referrals I've had in quite a while. Diana is one of the sweetest people I've EVER met! I told her what type of extensions I've had in the past, and I asked if just a little more volume could be added, as mine are straight and thin. Diana did not disappoint!!! She did the hybrid style that gave me extra volume and lashes for days!! OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE her work, I wish I could see her technique because I've never had lashes this gorgeous! I've already scheduled my next appointment, she is stuck with me. I have been coming here for over a year for coloring, treatments, and haircuts. My hairstylist is Cynthia and she is just amazing. I have so much respect for her and the whole team at Bella Mia Salon who have weathered the storm during the pandemic. Cynthia is very professional and knowledgeable about coloring and care of your hair. It took some time to lighten my dark hair but we have been able to get there cautiously which is very important. I lived in Hollister for two years but recently moved back to San Jose. I still commute to this salon because of Cynthia's expertise and because she knows my hair better than I do so I appreciate itthat. Monica Vazquez is amazing with hair and such a nice person , I followed her from gilroy to Hollister because I don't trust anyone else with my long hair. Hey guys!! So I had an appointment with Olga to do full highlights and a hair cut and she did an amazing job!! I feel like I just got a makeover Olga absolutely knows what shes doing and did the color and cut pretty much exactly as I asked for and of course pictures do help! My hair is still long, but now its soft/ has shape and is much more manageable and the color with the highlights is so beautiful. I love it and I will definitely be coming back to upkeep it and try other services as well I absolutely recommend this place. Looked in mirror and !! Did I ever need my roots dyed, so knowing that I had to travel outside of Santa Clara County, I began researching salons in San Benito County. If you are willing to make the 2 hour drive (1 hr. To/from), then get moving!! I chose Bella based on online ratings, so I called & was greeted by a very sweet young lady who put me on hold for about 2 minutes & came back with good news! I was lucky to get an appointment with Cynthia due to a cancellation. When I arrived, I was very impressed by the spaciousness of the salon & focus on design & detail. Aesthetically, it's a beautiful space. Before entering you need to get your temperature taken & spray your hands w/ antibacterial spray. Only customers are allowed in-no waiting area! There were no more than 4 clients in the salon at a time, all spaced 6" or more apart. Cynthia is a veteran stylist with a very nice personality. She quickly took care of my needs & had time to do some waxing. The cost was not cheap, but you get what you pay for!! Roots ($95) and wax ($20). She styled my hair and used some very fragrant products! I was grateful and pleased with the results. In spite of the cost (I usually pay $60 for a comparable service), I plan to return until my regular and much closer stylist opens in San José! Being new to Hollister, I needed to find a good hairdresser at a reasonable price. I had my hair done by the owner, Olga. She's not only excellent at what she does, she's just as nice as can be. Would highly recommend. She also straightens my hair with a product I've been using for 15 years ( Opti Smooth by Matrix). It's hard to find hairdressers willing to use a product they are unfamiliar with, so I'm grateful for that. She did a great job! My daughter also has her hair straightened and cut with Olga, and has her eyebrows waxed. The salon itself is beautiful, in an historic building on the main drag ( San Benito). Very disappointed with Olga the owner. I called about 2 months ago to schedule a hair color appt., Olga took my number to call me back, which she did about 2 weeks later. However I decided to give it another try and schedule the appt. Olga sounded really nice and polite over the phone, I explained to her that I work out of town and it would be ideal if I could have a Saturday appt. Which she did gave me her next available appt. But when I call to make sure I had an appointment scheduled, they told me that the appointment was cancelled and they had no explanation why. I moved here in May 2016 and didn't know of any hair dressers in the area. I hopped onto Yelp and looked at reviews and prices. I called around to a few and by far, this Salon was the friendliest and price friendliest one I called. The girl on the other end told me to call the owner/hair/make-up guru Olga personally. Called and left her a message and she got right back to me! I have a specific product I've been using for years but it's really really hard to find people WILLING to at least try my hair straightening product on me. People are scared because they have never used this product and think that are going to ruin my hair. I told Olga what I've been using and I know for a fact it won't ruin my hair and creates great results. She was totally open to it and gave me a very competitive price! I was thrilled! She ended doing a fabulous job and I was so happy I found her. She was welcoming, warm, and very honest. I've done my hair there ever since and also had my makeup done by her for my 30th birthday.
