Don't waste your money. They rush you through. They messed up my gel manicure so now I have to go back. They are not very gentle, girl was hurting me digging her nails into my skin, and they spray their tools with alcohol. I want my money back. The nail stylist was rude and was rushing. When I sat down, before she started, I asked if I could switch my color to gel powder and she gave me a dirty look and was rude. I also went to the nail place with long nails, she filed them to nothing and what was left of them was sloppy- they are short and crooked. Also, because she was rushing, she accidentally cut a chunk off the skin on the side of my nail. When I pulled back because it hurt, she gave me a dirty look and told me to relax. When I said no, that hurt, she said sorry and kept going. If she wasn't rushing, that wouldn't have happened. There was a lady sitting next to me when I first sat down, she must have been there for 15 minutes already- she was finished with her first coat of gel powder. I thought I would try Bella, it was so close to home. Was not worth what I thought was convenient. Most of the women did not seem very happy to work there...it became apart why. The owner Ken Is arrogant and nasty. They do not honor appointments. Nothing is worth his attitudes. Last time there, I walked out and went down the road to Angel Tips...been there since. I went into Bella's for a fill because a coworker recommended it. It was nice to get a short massage while getting your nails done. They took a little bit longer and cost a little more than I am used to but compared to the only other place I have been to in Danbury, I was very satisfied. They have the best selection of nail color I've ever seen and I was pleased with my nails. I would recommend Bella's if you are looking for a new nail salon. read more

Pretty good nail salon, nice atmosphere. Always a ton of workers working on the weekends so that there aren't long waits. They have cheap prices, $25 for a mani and pedi. Their pedicures are pretty rushed, they don't really massage your feet for a long time like other places I've been to, but I guess you get what you pay for. They usually are crowded so I understand them wanting to move quickly. However, my toe nails and nails always turn out great and they shape them better than any place ever has. Terrible experience. I had been going to Bella for a while and only got manicures and those were okay! But this time I decided to get acrylics done so they would last longer, she started off by filing my nails so much it was very painful and you could actually see the pink of my nail show and I bleed on two fingers. Then when putting the acrylic on, the first hand was okay, but then she plastered so much on my second hand that all my nails on that hand looked fat and lumpy and completely different than my other hand. The acrylic was left so thick it coated under the nails as well and became very annoying. Then the color I picked was a flat color but what was on my nails was a sparkly, deeper color than I wanted. Overall terrible experience and had to go somewhere else to fix it (even they were shocked to see how terrible one hand was compared to the other). Never going back. I love Bella Nails. I have been going there since they opened for my eyebrows and nails. However I'm so tired of them advertising they are open until 7:30 and I am there by 6 and they turn you away every time saying they are too busy or they don't have enough time and there's workers just standing around and no one waiting. Today was the last time they are sending me away. Service is great when you can actually get in. They need to not falsely advertise their hours. read more

Unfortunately I didn't take the time to read these reviews before I decided to do business with Bella Nails..... I do hope this review helps someone else... I went to have my acrylic nails done with Jessi through a recommendation. At the beginning she was nice. I continued to make my appointments with Jessi. However, as time went by Jessi's behavior changed towards me. I would leave her a generous 20+ tip and I noticed as I dried my nails that she left the tip on the table and never took it. I should have known from that point that something was going on. The last time I went to get my nails done, I made an appointment, and as soon as I arrived I was told by the owner Kenny, that Jessi didn't feel "comfortable" doing my nails. So I ended up having to get my nails done with someone else. I asked them if they'd refund the balance on the gift certificate I had received for services in their establishment, and I was told, "No". I had a balance of $20 after that last visit and I preferred to lose it rather than put myself through this treatment again. I noticed that another customer posted a review on Yelp based on a similar experience 2 years ago with the same nail technician and she stated that it was due to her ethnic background (posted by Linda A. on 10/22/2014). I am also of color and received very similar treatment in this establishment. If they provide customer service based on the color of someone's skin, they should not be in business. read more

When they first opened, I had a great experience there getting a regular pedicure and manicure. I've heard mixed reviews from family members who had less than desirable experiences there but continued going to this salon since I've generally had good service there. However, the last two times I've gone to them have NOT been good at all. The first time that happened I thought maybe the technician I had just wasn't as experienced or something and figured it wasn't that big of a deal...but as I type this review my newly done, less than an HOUR AGO gel manicure has AIR BUBBLES THROUGHOUT!!!!! Four of my nails have this and it looks crappy! Paying $28 for this service I thought was a bargain as it was way cheaper than most other salons, but clearly you get what you pay for...although in my eyes that is hard earned money just wasted when I was trying to treat myself to a great manicure that is supposed to be chip,smudge,crack proof!! This is just unacceptable they need more training especially since I literally was JUST there and these air bubbles are forming! I've had the gel manicures done at two other salons before and while Bella has way more color selection, I'd rather have it look good--that's the entire point! read more
