By far the best nail artists I have ever been to! I am so obsessed with my nails every time I go and absolutely love how Britt and Ashley will tailor any look to your specific needs and ideas. I work in the beauty/cosmetic field and am super particular about how my nails look and I have never walked away so happy with the results or with something I didn't like. I have gotten so many compliments on my nails, and I can't stop staring at them! So far I've gotten gel polish manicures with them and they've lasted me up to a month at a time which is insane! I started going specifically because I used to have acrylics on from another salon and when I took them off my nails were so soft and damaged to the point they were sore so I did some research and decided to reach out. Britt told me about a treatment she has called IBX that has done absolute wonders and gives my nails a little bit of extra strength while I grow them out and get them back to being healthy. If you have soft nails or nails that break all the time I highly recommend trying the treatment out! They are so sweet and talented and clearly put so much effort and their hearts into everything that they do, and it really shows! I moved to Danbury area from NYC a few months ago and was desperately looking for a boutique type of nail salon that had nail artists, not just nail techs. I take pride in having well executed fun, trendy and creative nail art, its my little splurge. I wasn't having luck with any of the local salons until I stumbled on Britts IG page and booked first available appt. At first visit I was immediately impressed and so glad I found this nail salon! Its small and quaint but just enough space so they can cater individual attention to each client without distractions. Vibe and energy was perfect...good music but not too loud, chill and relaxed environment. I especially liked their efforts and guidelines on sanitizing everything, diligently wearing masks and ensuring customers do the same given this Covid pandemic environment we are in. Both artists, Britt and Rebecca are super sweet, funny and uber talented! Felt like I was talking and laughing with long time friends, they both made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. One random spring day, after going down a deep instagram hashtag rabbit hole, I stumbled across Britt's IG (@britts_nail_bar) and without being too dramatic, my life hasn't been the same since! The quality, craftsmanship, and creativity is everything you never knew you wanted. Photos of my nails don't do her skills justice, as I'm not very adventurous (let's just say an accent nail tests my limits - hey tortoise nail, I'm talking to you!). Never mind the fact that she's a girl you just want to be friends with. I will say that getting an appointment requires a little patience - suggest you follow her wherever you can. She'll post any last minute open appointments on her IG story, and when you see that, jump on it! It took about 2 months for me to get into a groove of regular appointments, so just be flexible the first few weeks. Girl is in demand!! I've not yet had the pleasure of Ashley doing my nails yet, but I wouldn't hesitate to book her if I can't align mine and Britt's calendars - her work is equally as stunning. I've been going to Britts Nail Bar exclusively for almost 3 years now & I wouldn't even dare to THINK of going somewhere else! Britt is beyond just incredibly talented- she has innate artistic ability, amazing attention detail, & above all, is just an awesome person! Honestly, I'd go just to hang out with her for a while! Her work is always impeccable, she has remarkable in depth knowledge of the products & techniques she uses (none of that -illegal-MMA crap many of the local salons use here.. & if you don't know what MMA is, you should google it.. and yes, many of the local salons are still using it) & her execution is ON POINT! Britt's Nail Bar is the bomb.com. I will never go anywhere else. They are super clean and sanitized following all state guidelines and I love the fact that there is a 'no phone rule'. Besides being amazing and talented artists, she and Rebecca are kind, sweet and fun to be around. They explain everything and talk you through the process and designs. You may ask yourself why their prices are a bit higher then your usual dime a dozen chop shop nail salons? Well, I'm glad you asked. This is the most precise and long lasting gel manicure I have ever had. It always lasts well into 3 weeks. No chipping or peeling. My natural nails are also stronger than ever underneath. I found Britt last summer while browsing nail pics on Instagram and I'm so glad I did - she and Ash have completely changed the manicure for me. They are perfectionists and care just as much about how my nails look as I do. They're incredibly warm and welcoming, the space is impeccably clean, and they are always on time for appointments. They are so eager to indulge any ideas I come in with, from plain to over-the-top (including detailed hand-painted designs.) Britt keeps the place well stocked with literally hundreds of colors, glitter, crystals, stamping plates, you name it. I always leave there thrilled with my nails and I can't imagine going anywhere else. My nails have never looked better. I can't recommend her enough! read more

5 Stars For Britt & Rebecca!!! Both ladies always producing and giving their clients the best! ... recently I had the pleasure of getting my nails done by Rebecca and she delivered! She was extremely detailed and thorough and I could not be happier! Typically I get acrylics or hard gel but this time I tried the "Apres" gel nail system which is literally the coolest concept ever ! I can't wait to go back in a few weeks for some autumnal nails... btw, britts nail bar and the techs were following covid guidelines to a T and then some! As always Britt always provides the best service! I've been going to her for maybe 2-3 years now, it's so worth it I drive 45 min to see her. She takes the time to really clean your cuticles, and I've never had a manicure last so long- at minimum they last 3 weeks and remain looking perfect. Sometimes I even get 4 weeks out of them and this is coming from someone who works in healthcare- I'm constantly drying out my hands with sanitizers and soaps. I'm also an avid climber and weightlifter so I'm constantly using chalk... and I'll tell you right now my nails always last. So if you want the best- there's no other place to go. Especially now too, I feel very safe going here with their COVID protocol. read more

I have been following Britt's Nail Bar on IG for probably months now. I am always amazed by their detail and quality. The reviews are always top notch. I used to always be disappointed every time I got my nails done - gel polish, dip powder, gel manicure. They barely lasted me 10 days and ended up being a waste of my time and money. Very disappointed with how a recent incident was handled. I woke up not feeling well and decided under the current COVID circumstances it was best to cancel my appointment rather than take the risk of exposing anyone. Instead of charging me for a portion of the service that had to be cancelled I was charged the full amount. Poor business management in my opinion. I could have ignored protocol, kept the appointment and taken the risk of infecting others should I be COVID positive. read more

I love my visits with Maddy! Super chill vibes all around, all the techs and even clients are super nice and friendly. Lots of care is put into each appointment. This is a great nail salon, no walk ins, appointment only. They spend so much time with you and your nails that they are perfect when you leave! This is not an ordinary nail salon where they are rushing to get you out! This is a totally different experience and worth it!
