Really weird experience here--caveat, I never actually made it in to get my hair done. I was looking for a place to get keratin/brazilian blowout for an event & saw this place had great reviews. The site said to text or call so I texted... no answer. Called... no answer. I figured they were busy so I just made an appointment on the site, & it was confirmed. A few days later I received an automated email saying my appointment was cancelled with no notice or explanation. I called and left a voicemail and haven't heard back or been contacted in any way. I understand things come up but I would've appreciated the courtesy of a heads up or call back. Especially with now extremely short notice to find a replacement. Leydi is so great! Our family has been going to her for over 10 years and she never lets us down. She has always cut husband's hair so well (and he has beautiful hair). So recently I had to take both my girls in for new hair cuts before in -person school. I needed her to fix my attempt at an in home haircut for my 6 yr old and give my 9 yr old a much needed trim. She did a beautiful job! Not only did she expertly cut and style their hair, she talked with the girls and helped them relax and ultimately made them both feel they had a personalized spa experience. My girls don't sit still well and also have anxiety and she handled both things so well. Leydi has been doing my hair cuts and foils for about 8 years, and she has been doing the rest of my family's hair as well; my mom's hair for even longer! She is absolutely wonderful, and I will never let anyone other than her touch my hair again! I moved out of the state for about a year, and made the mistake of having someone else do my hair, and it was not the right shade, Leydi knows exactly what looks good on me and is consistent with doing it the same way every time she does my hair - there is definitely a right shade for every blonde. There have even been a few times over the years where I thought I could go darker or experiment with box dyes (don't do it!) and Leydi always knows exactly how to fix my little mishaps and gets my hair back to the right shade. I am very picky about the color of my blonde, and how it is blended; she truly does the best job. She does a good job at getting you in and out as fast as possible and doesn't leave you sitting with a hair dryer over your head forever, but still spends time on the little details to do a quality job. The salon is very laid back, but professional. I find that she is easy and fun to chat with, but she is not overly chatty. I feel very comfortable and relaxed every time I go to see her. Services are also very well priced, especially with how expensive hair can be these days. My entire family adores her and is very satisfied with her services, as am I. Came in to get color and flat iron, mind you I am of mixed race. I had already spoke with the stylist prior to my appt., sent about 3 photos of my hair, this was done a few days before my appointment! Having a salon open any salon for that matter I was excited to finally get my hair done. As soon as I walked in and took one look at my hair, touched, felt, and said she could color but not flat iron. Her reason being she has no tools for my hair!? Next she changed her mind about coloring, reason here is she doesn't know how to do my (type) or should I say (black) hair at ALL! Not dry,comb,curl,brush, NOTHING!
