UPDATE:
It has now been over a month since this awful experience, and I had to go to a skin specialist who let me know that the damage is permanent. I will have a scar for the rest of my life all over my forehead due to the lack of care the stylist (Hannah) had with the application. Since they have been unresponsive, I have no choice but to take legal action. Little did I know an innocent trip to a new salon in hopes of becoming a new client would lead me to this. Also, if you're looking to ACTUALLY get in touch with them, here is their contact information:

I am genuinely disappointed to be writing this review. I had been seeing the same hairstylist for years, and after she moved away, I was understandably nervous about trusting someone new with my hair. Unfortunately, this experience could not have gone worse.
I had an appointment with Hannah. The booking site clearly states that if a client is more than 15 minutes late, the stylist will not take them. I arrived right at opening time at 9:00 AM, only to find that the stylists themselves did not arrive until around 9:15. There was no apology, acknowledgment, or even a basic greeting. I was seated, briefly explained what I wanted, and then experienced near silence for the remainder of the appointment.
I do not expect constant conversation, but basic professionalism and customer service are essential, especially for a first time client. I felt less like a valued customer and more like an inconvenience.
The service itself was unacceptable. Hair color was applied carelessly and ended up all over my forehead. At the shampoo bowl, it was clear the mistake was noticed, and my hairline was scrubbed so aggressively that it was painful. I nearly had tears in my eyes. Given the cold and unwelcoming demeanor throughout the appointment, I did not feel comfortable speaking up.
After my hair was blow dried and cut, I was turned away from the mirror, so I did not get a clear look at the damage until I got home. At that point, I discovered the skin on my forehead was raw, inflamed, and beginning to welt. I could not even rinse my face with water without severe stinging. I have had my hair colored more than 20 times in my life and have never experienced anything like this.
I attempted to contact the salon twice through their online messaging system. When I later called the salon, Chase answered and informed me that the messages were never received. During that call, Chase told me that I would be able to receive a refund and instructed me to email photos and details to the salon's management email addresses, which I did immediately.
I later received a call from Gabriel, who minimized the situation by suggesting that I likely just have sensitive skin. I do not, and regardless, hair dye should never be left all over a client's face. He offered a complimentary service, which I declined, as I no longer felt comfortable trusting anyone at the salon. I clearly stated that a refund was the only acceptable resolution. Gabriel told me he would confirm this by end of day Tuesday.
Tuesday passed with no response. I followed up again on Wednesday and received no reply. I followed up again on Thursday requesting an update by end of day. That evening, I finally received a response stating that they would not be issuing a refund and would instead offer a gift card for the cost of a haircut.
As a first time customer who was hoping to find a long term salon, this was an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. The service, professionalism, communication, and accountability were all lacking. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. read more
