Had a wonderful visit! The owner herself did my pedicure today…read more The spa is very clean and organized. She started me off with a gel foot soak and that felt amazing. The water wasn't too hot either. After fifteen minutes of gel-Topia she put salt in the soak and turned it back to water! Woah...what?! So neat. The pedicure wasn't in a chair but I was able to lie back on a massage table and she worked on my feet. I was also given an eye mask so I could relax even more. This made me feel pampered and she talked to me, actually had a conversation with me. This made me feel like my business mattered to her and made me feel good too. I had been here about six years ago and she even remembered me and mentioned a few things to prove she remembered me. Honestly, she made me feel like I want to come back and I will. I strained my neck and scheduled a massage thinking it might help, but my doctor advised me to wait at least 7 days. When I called to reschedule, they told me I'd still be charged for the appointment even though I had a medical reason. To avoid losing my session, I agreed to keep the appointment and simply asked the therapist to avoid the strained area. But because I was honest and disclosed my injury, they refused to treat me altogether, yet STILL demanded payment for the canceled session before I could rebook. This company takes advantage of customers under the guise of "policy." Massage Envy is nothing more than a scam.
