I am SO happy. Although my husband and I have gotten pizza from here before, I had to stop eating it from ANYWHERE. Apparently I am sensitive to gluten. Recently I learned that Bella Roma offers a gluten free crust. YAY! I ordered the Shrimp and garlic gluten free pizza with no sauce (1/2 alfredo) and ooooh... it was SO GOOD! Authentic Italian meatballs the size of a fist. Order the chicken pizza with BBQ, no marinara, and in the comments section add "BBQ sauce on pizza please" (politeness counts). Really good. We order 2-3 times a month, and have yet to be disappointed. They always say 60 min delivery, but my experience is closer to 45. Living in a small town, we have a limited number of delivery options with Uber and Postmates, Bella Roma has an app for that and the service is friendly, delivery is quick and the pricing is on par and sometimes surprising based on the quality of the food. The steak and the Wise guy sub were so good I can't even say which one we like better. The Artichoke/spinach dip "pizza" was rich and creamy goodness. The bruschetta ,not traditional, but really good. The breadsticks were a little hard but very tasty. The tiramisu was OK. You could definitely taste the coffee. The only fail was the cannoli. We ordered two lasagna dinners for delivery and could not be more pleased. The food came in a very reasonable time and was hot upon arrival. I once had a pizza deliver to me where all the cheese slid to one side, I took it back and no questions asked they replaced it for me and reimbursed me!!! We are a disabled couple that lives an hour away from town.. Bella Roma. My children had to pick our food up as they order as well. There dough on bottom of pizza was raw. After calling store and sending pictures, trying to get redundant for un eatable food, the store called the OWNER and we were told the food had to be brought back to restaurant...an hour away...my husband and my food was, meh. His stromboli was ok no flavor at all and the super appetizer I ordered came with garlic knots that could not pull apart, the fried ravioli and cheese sticks had so much breading and were so overcooked I could not eat. I'm choking down the wings as they were cooked about 14 minutes to long. So long story short we cant drive after dark so we are just out 34 bucks. So disappointed. We have been ordering from them for years and last night was a fiasco. Calamari had more salt than the Dead Sea the chicken piccata was swimming in grease and looked like something that was frozen at one point instead of being freshly made. The eggplant parm sub was supposed to have double eggplant and it didn't. The chicken parm meal was cold when we got it. I can't comment on the Caprise salad because they forgot it. We ordered a pizza with steak and green peppers, person on the phone asked if roasted peppers were ok because they did not just have green peppers, we said yes and after a 40 minute drive we picked up the pizza and to our surprise when we get home there were no peppers and unfortunately we didn't check when we picked it up. We called them to inform them and asked for refund. They said we needed to go there for the refund and give them the pizza back...so we had to drive another 40 minutes for the refund and to return the pizza. We tried to eat the pizza as it was to avoid another long drive and waste gas but it tasted horrible so we drove, gave them back the pizza so we could get the refund. I'm not trying to be a jerk vegetarian. I don't care if others eat meat. In fact, I cook meat for my family. I have not had meat in over 8 years. Bella Roma put sausage in my calzone. I know mistakes happen. However, when I called the guy on the phone, he said "It says sausage on your ticket." I had to argue with him that the order taker wrote it down wrong. That I am a vegetarian and would never in a million years accidentally order sausage. I felt like he was accusing me of pulling some scam to get a $6 calzone. The sausage made me physically ill. When you haven't had meat in a long time, your tummy is not very happy. He tried to send a replacement calzone. I am leaving on a business trip tomorrow, so it won't keep in my fridge, and to be honest, my stomach is too upset to eat anything. He said all he could do give me a $4 credit. Since I moved to the area I have ordered from Bella Roma almost every weekend for two months. I was astounded that they refused to fully refund the calzone. This isn't about messing up an order or being a vegetarian. It is about common customer service. That's fine. I will pay the $6 for the calzone they messed up. They just won't be getting my weekly business anymore. read more
