A friendly staff, great selection of everything that you'd possibly need, plus a clean and well put together presentation leads to a pleasant shopping experience. He told me they were all stock items and that would not be a problem if and when I did find a contractor. I did this so as whomever I hired to do the work would be able to just go pu w/o having to figure out what I wanted or needed etc. I explicity said that I had no idea when the work would be done, hoping sooner rather than later, then, I got sic, heart problems, then covid, each spring I checked in w/ receipt telling them that I still had not found a contractor yet, I was told each time, no problem, when you are ready, all stock items, as long as Menards is here this will be available for pu, I might have to pay differential in prices, of which I understood, I also, did not file the rebate of 11% and said as much because I appreciated them more or less storing for me.. Well, 3.5 yrs, still no contractors that are now within my range to have work done, I was getting bids in the 20 thousands, just labor to do the work, insane, after covid. So, I asked for the receipt to be put on a card, now, after being told there was no problem with not picking up, after being told that as long as I have my receipt, I am now being told tough luck, how do we know you did not pu this order, (Nothing gets out of that yard w/o signatures and receipts, and then receipts is recorded as pu in sysem) The mgr more or less, (me in wheelchair told me that he has no way to know if I picked this order up and am trying to rip them off.... Says he has no record of order, even though I have called with invoice number, have stopped in every spring to let them know I am still trying to get contractor. At no time did Menards offer to deliver instead of them having in stock, At no time did they say this is what you need and lets put your credit on a card and when your ready bring your contractor/materials receipt w/ your card. etc.. I did what their employee told me to do, I can pu anything as long as I keep my receipt, let us know what is going on and up to date. Understand that if alot of time passes you may have to pay difference in priced items.. Right now, Menard's owes me nearly 850.00 dollars, that is how I feel. I am disabled and on SS, I have a garage, I could of had delivered and tucked away in garage if that would of been offered to me, I did not know they would deliver those items, did not know they had a time limit??? on pu, was told opposite of that... I live less than 2 miles from Hermantown Menards and they could of asked for pictures, or driven by my house to see that I had not received the materials.. There is no way I physically could of pu this order myself and or put away if I had delivered.....That was obvious to the manager. I can somewhat understand the time passed but then that was the deal when I purchased it as to whenever....The person who sold me the items told me that I was the one taking the chance on Menards still being there when I was ready or found a contractor. Which is another thing, at no time did they ever offer to help me find a contractor, until..... they told me my receipt was no longer "valid". Not really happy with them, I purchased alot of stuff thru them to fix up this trailer, I went thru another company for skirting and just finally had the house releveled and skirted, 2019 till now, it took me.. I just had a new gutter system put up and central air installled, happy to say Menard's missed out on all that material sales. Next a new bathroom and shower and walk in tub, Sorry, Menards, Home Depot is 6 miles away and Fleet Farm too and they all carry the same things....

I went to Walmart and bought cheap scrub pants but found the scrub tops were not long enough for my torso. I heard from friends that there is a place in the mall that has a jerk for an owner but if you can't afford to wait for snail mail it has a decent stock. When I went to KBF and selected a top to buy the owner (I believe the only person who works there) insisted I purchase a pair of pants with the top. I told him I only needed the top. The entire time I was checking out he wouldn't drop it. I should have just told him it's because his prices are ridiculous and I'm only there because I needed the top that week, but I was trying to be polite. After the awkward/annoying encounter I personally decided I would never go back but didn't post anything on social media etc as it wasn't a big deal. Fast forward a couple years and I rip 2 pair of pants in 2 days (cheap pairs and long stretch to squeeze into my car when someone parked too close). I need to replace them ASAP and ask my wife to pick some up for me if she had time. She goes to KBF not knowing my personal dislike for the place and gets a really nice pair of Med Couture pants. First time I try on these pants the draw sting pulls out of the band. I still have the receipt so I figure no big deal, I'll go in and get them replaced as they're brand new. When I arrive it's the same old grouch working that didn't want to let me purchase only scrub tops the last time I was there. I place the bag on the counter and explain to him that the draw string had broke and I was here to exchange the pants. He told me I had to use the other door, which when I followed his directions led to a separate business that does tailoring and clothing repair. I walk back into his shop and tell him I'm here for a return not to get the pants fixed. That I still have the receipt and tags and the product was faulty. He starts to argue with me telling me that he's never had a bad pair in 20 years and that med couture would not support an exchange as they do not sell merchandise that would rip. At this point I told him fine, I'd like to return them as the purchase was over 25$ and Minnesota has a customer protection law that states any broken/faulty goods can be returned as long as it's within the time frame and obvious the flaw was with the merchandise. He then stated I'm welcome to sue him and in turn he'll sue M.C. and it won't go anywhere. My advise is to bring your business elsewhere as I assume the reason you're reading this post is to find out what kind of customer service this shop provides.

There are times when I am in Kohl's and end up finding too many things that I would like! There are also, unfortunately, times when things just don't seem to work right. But, even in those times, the Kohl's discounts and Kohl's Cash can be used online for a greater selection! The Customer Service at this location is the best that I have experienced at any Kohl's location. While at a Kohl's location in California I once waited over thirty minutes just to talk to a Customer Service representative, not so here! At this Duluth location I have always been met with a friendly smile and great service. They even now take returns of Amazon purchases! They will even handle the packing and shipping for you, for free! Plus, if you return an Amazon purchase at Kohl's, you receive a 25% discount coupon to use at Kohl's! The biggest advice for the Kohl's discounts, though, is to be aware that they may not be applicable to all items, specifically name brand clothing like Nike or Under Armour. If those discounts and Kohl's Cash worked on those items, I would be at Kohl's even more often! Maybe someday...
