I just had a sportcoat repaired that had a rip in the sleeve. I COULD NOT tell at the time when I picked it up where the repair was! Yes, it sometimes takes a while to get the garments back, but each time I was given a date when I dropped off the garment and it was ready when I showed up to pick it up. I don't care as much about the time. I'm not really able to use the articles anyway, since they needed repairs or alterations, and the timeframe has always been within reason. I highly recommend ZNY for any repair or alteration work!

I brought it up, from Bloomington, and anticipated that I would have to leave it for a repair or that it couldn't be repaired; it is about 48 years old. Dan looked at it and thought it might be the capacitor, which it almost always is, and that is no longer made for this older model. I was devastated, but he then thought it could be the foot control pedal; he opened the old one and found that it had a hole in the rubber balloon in it, not a common issue. He had one on stock; we hooked it to machine and it worked like a charm. I was so happy and told him that it made my weekend. I bought the new pedal and got to take my trusty machine home with me. Yeah! I highly recommend this shop and if I do ever need a repair, I will bring it 150 miles, again. Thanks Dan

I have brought things in several times and it has always been positive. I have experienced an item not being ready, but they apologized and are often full with orders. After reading the other review, I think that type of situation is few and far. The business is clearly popular and generally well-received. Calling ahead of time would be helpful to ensure the item is ready for pickup.

I was quoted 3 weeks for the service to be completed. 3 weeks went by with no communication from the tailor, so I called an she hadn't started yet! There was no communication from her that she was running behind, and it would be later than expected. When I went to pick the dress up a week later, the alterations were the poorest quality I've ever seen. The hem is so obviously uneven that you can see it when I'm wearing the dress. The alteration to the back was not done in the manner she had said it would be, and the fabric doesn't lay flush with my body. I'm so worried my dress has been butchered to the point that it's unwearable. When I called her to tell her my concerns, she told me to bring it in and she would fix it, but how do you trust someone to redo it when they just handed you back a dress with such poor quality alterations? I asked for my money back instead, but she refused and hung up on me. Basically, I'm out the money it cost for alterations that ruined my dress and now have a $1150 dress that is unwearable.

My sizes have changed and I was looking for a whole new set up. Suits, shirts, etc. I walked around the store for 20-25 mins and not one of the clowns working there even made eye contact with me, let alone speak to me. The place was not busy. When I approached the kid at the counter I told him I was looking to buy 5-6 suits. He said "I'll be with you in a minute." It seems folding shirts was more important than my business. I finally decided to buy a shirt just to see if I could interact with one guy. The jackhole at the counter (a new guy) didn't even look at me once. Had his head in the CPU for whatever reason. Finally another customer said, "I think this guy needs some help." The dummy at the desk said "I'll be with you in a minute." Ha! They must have a new company trainer and that's their catchphrase. I just put the shirt down, told the guy I went in there to buy 5-6 suits and accessories and that not one of the asshats working there even spoke to me once. No eye contact, nothing. I must say, it wasn't like I was wearing anything odd. Golf shorts, long sleeve shirt, flip flops. If the guy would have taken two minutes to look me up in his system, he would have seen how many suits I've purchase there over the years. I asked the first nimwit if he could look me up in the system and he said "we don't do that." This company has lost its way. When O was traveling a lot for work and my bags didn't shop up at the airport, I could always call MW in the town I was in and they would throw something together for me last minute and deliver it. Now, I can't even get a store deadbeat to even talk to me. Needless to say, I've bought my last suit with this soon to be out of business joke of a business. So frustrating and disappointed.
