I've never been so diasapointed. I ordered flowers to go around an urn, along with a heart shaped arrangement that was nothing more than babybreath with a couple roses in the middle. The arrangement to go around the urn didn't include ANY of the flowers I requested, I had to "assemble" and put together the flowers as they had all fallen out of the arrangement. This was for my mother, so disrespective, and for $900+ dollars..rediculous. read more

Beware, terrible company. Can't believe this company is still in business. Years ago, I ordered flowers for a funeral for a friend of my father's. When I went to the funeral home, the flowers I ordered were no where to be found. (I was embarrassed.) I called Jo, she lied and said they were shipped. Hello, I was at the funeral home. Then I had to walk into the flower shop not once, but three times because it took TWO months to refund off my visa account. What would have happened if I did not go to the funeral home??? I would have never know the family did not get the flowers. Don't order from here, especially if you are from out of town, you never know if your order will be there. I have never actually been to this florist but did a transaction over the phone. I was looking for same-day delivery for my girlfriend who was visiting her parents in Commerce, MI. I called around 4pm and was informed that the driver had already made his last delivery and left for the day. After discussing next-day delivery options, the employee I was speaking to said that she would try to call the driver back and get my order delivered the same day. This was around 4:15pm. As promised, the order was delivered an hour later and the arrangement was beautiful. I told them what I wanted and they delivered...in every way. While I don't live in the area, I would certainly recommend this florist to anyone looking for great flowers, service, and value. read more

If I could give zero stars!!! The absolute worst florist ever!!! They are rude and tell you that you will receive a refund for a the mistake they made! I ordered a corsage for Homecoming with maroon roses and black ribbon!! MY Husband picked it up and came home with white roses and a red bow!! I called to ask if he picked up the wrong one and I was told that this was made correctly? They continued to argue with me and I didn't have the time so I hung up. Called back on Monday and was told I would get a refund because they made the mistake. Wonderful experience with this local florist. The ordering process was very easy via their website. I ordered around 1:30pm, and the flowers were delivered by 4:30pm the same day. I talked to them on the phone as well to find out the deliver ETA, and the lady was very nice to me. She called the driver to find out for sure, and called me right back within minutes. The flower arrangement was beautiful and exactly as advertised. I highly recommend this shop and having had a horrible experience with 1800flowers, will always go with a local vendor from now on. read more

They continued to argue with me, finally got the telafloal # right but sent me the smallest instead of the middle priced one and it didn't even have the same flowers in it. I ordered a New Years Eve flower arrangement from this florist as a gift. Spending over $60 I expected the flower arrangement to last more than just one night. The flower arrangement was delivered at about 3:00 in the afternoon and by 11:00 the next morning (with a vase full of water) the flowers looked like they were a week old. When I called the florist to tell them of the problem they were rude and offered no help to rectify the situation, saying "Oh you must not have put water in them", which of course had been done. CHECK THE LEVEL OF WATER IN YOUR VASE The day after delivery, the bouquet had already started wilting. After going to the store, they said it was my fault, then took the flowers to the back room. 20 minutes later they brought it back with some of the flowers removed. They also left me a surprise, a vase filled to the brim with water!! I noticed before I got to the car, but if I hadn't my car's floor would have been soaked!!! On Saturday I called for a delivery for my girlfriends birthday because I wanted to surprise her. I said I would like 6 white roses and some baby's breath because that's what my girlfriend likes. The flowers arrived to my open already open and browning. My mom called the shop to ask for new flowers and they refused. They were extremely rude and told her she could bring them for a replacement. When she did, the replacement was for a much lesser flower arrangement. They would not credit back my account. This business should be trying to make the customer happy and doing their best to have a good relationship with their customers. They yelled at my mother and yelled at me. DO NOT get your flowers from this business. You can already see they have terrible reviews, and clearly this is why. They do not care about their customers or their products. And on Mother's Day for a woman who had had a helluva year and deserves only the best. You should be ashamed of yourself, Bella Rose. read more

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS FLOWER MARKET. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. A little bit of back story before I describe my experience here: I personally have worked at a florist for 8 years, and my mother has a certificate in Master Gardening. Safe to say we know how to treat fresh cut flowers. I bought a $50 bouquet of fresh-cuts from Bella Rose for my mother on mother's day. Brought them home, promptly cut them on an angle under running water and put them in a vase. The NEXT MORNING the flowers were wilted and droopy. I took them out of the vase and cut them again. By 5:00pm they were still droopy. So I found the receipt and took them back. I assume that I spoke with the store owner, and she promptly began attacking me about how I, or my mother "did not know how to cut flowers." REALLY?! I thought the customer was always right, but I guess not. We had it out at the counter, I tried to be as nice as possible (having been in retail I understand and tried to sympathize) but she kept interrupting me and walked away from our conversation when I was trying to speak to her. She was gone for quite a long time, came back with new flowers in a large bucket of water. She said "these have been cut correctly. all you have to do is take them out of the bucket and put them in fresh water when you get home." REALLY?! I'M SUPPOSED TO DRIVE HOME WITH A BUCKET OF WATER IN MY CAR? I then began to say to her that I did not like the way I was treated as a customer. She interrupted me again to tell me that she's been in the business for 45 years, and she knows when flowers are not cut. I was understanding of where she was coming from, frankly the product didn't matter any more, she just treated me like dirt. She was rude, constantly interrupting, and did not remain as calm as she should have been. She was not listening to me. I tried not to make a scene, because there was a girl with her, and another family getting flowers there as well. I wanted to shop small business and didn't go to Kroger for a reason. AWFUL FLORIST!!!!! - First, I ordered a birthday arrangment on-line and had them sign the card from 4 people. I checked "add balloon". They put an "I love you" balloon on a birthday arangement instead of just a "Happy Birthday" balloon. Second - I printed the on-line receipt which was for a total of $66.71. They charged my credit card $86.71. When I called them, they said that was the charge. I told them I had a receipt showing $66.71 which I faxed to them, they then faxed me a receipt they made up for $86.71. Had to go to my credit card company to dispute the charge. Worst customer service ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I'm getting multiple phone calls from the owner arguing with me. Extremely rude! We wanted to change the color of the ribbon on my daughters corsage and the woman on the phone said no and hung up on me. She could have said I'm sorry we can't it's too late or whatever the reason was but she just hang up on me... We called 23 hours before pick up and they said it had to be 24 hours. Seriously one hour shy of 24 hours notice and she was that rude about it. The flowers were fine when we picked them up (still the wrong color) but the customer service should be addressed. Very, very poor customer service. Ordered online and Ann called me to tell me they were out of what I ordered but would be happy to upgrade my order of the exact arrangement just $20 more. I suggested they could substitute for something else seeing as though I already paid, and she said they really don't deliver to my area in WIxom (about 15 minutes from their location in commerce). I replied that their website should restrict such orders from being made. She said I should just order somewhere else as they cannot drive an hour out of the way for a delivery. DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST FOR TELEFLORA ORDERS!! Every Christmas my dad sends me a Christmas centerpiece via Teleflora and it goes through Bella Rose. Every year so disappointed. This year the worst of all. It was supposed to have roses but didn't, just a few carnations, all ribbons and plastic balls. Candles were messed up too. After complaining to Bella Rose they said they can't make the arrangement as specified by Teleflora because they don't get paid enough. Seems like they shouldn't be a Teleflora florist!!! read more

My daughter has sent me a lavish flower bouquet for my 60th. The bouquet was delivered on Tuesday afternoon by Wednesday morning 2 out of the 3 Hydrangeas were wilted and the Orange colored Lilies were shedding petals on my counter. I called the flower shop and was told that since the flowers were delivered on Monday they were not going to do anything. I quoted to them the order number and proved that they were delivered on Tuesday. They asked that I come to the store and they will see what they can do. Wednesday was Thanksgiving eve and the traffic to the store was impossible. I decided to turn around and go back home, (I had plenty to prepare for the meal on Thursday). I called the store and let them know that I could't complete my drive. The owner asked me to send her pictures, I texted 3 pictures and did not receive a reply. By today Saturday I had the time to drive up to Bella Rose and showed the bouquet which looked like it was 2 weeks old. The ladies working there received my son and I with frowns and told us that of course the Hydrangeas wilted, we should have sprinkled them with water every day. If that is the case they should provide "Care Instructions". I have had Hydrangeas many times on my table and never experienced the next day wilting before. Also what is the excuse for the Lilies falling apart, and leaving petals all over my counter? They took the vase to the back room and after a while handed us the vase after replacing the Hydrangeas and Lilies with cheap flowers, the lady commented seeing my disappointment that "The owner would kill them if they gave us roses or some other more expensive flowers" (scary work environment!). The quality of service is important when things go wrong, and I am so disappointed. They enjoyed getting the full payment, but shed responsibility for the over mature flowers they provided. I have the picture of the magnificent bouquet from when it arrived (I texted it gratefully to my daughter) and I have the photo of the bouquet the way it looks today. We love doing business with local shop owners but this one is OFF our list. read more

My friend ordered flowers to my house that were delivered on Thursday and died on Saturday. I went to Chicago on Friday and I came back Wednesday. My husband said the flowers died on Saturday. I called to speak to the manager and the woman said I'm not leaving the manager a message because there is nothing we can do. She also said we are not mind readers and asked why I didn't call right away. She said several rude and mean things to me. She was very sarcastic and talked to me like I was a child. I explained I was in Chicago and called them the day I got back. She was very rude and snappy and short with me. Then, she hung up on me. When my friend ordered flowers, the same person gave my friend an attitude. The woman is not nice and we will never ever use this florist ever again. I received a fruit basket arrangement that consisted of apples and oranges, today, from a customer of mine. Regardless of the arrangement looking like an 8-year-old threw them in a flimsy basket, the apples were not edible as they were soft and bruised. I called them to let them know about the condition of the apples, and the lady who answered the phone was extremely short and did not care one bit. The company should not take advantage of their customers not knowing what a delivered arrangement will look like and should pay attention to quality. read more

I received roses from here and it was so disappointing. The rose's where wilted and the water was cloudy. They look like they had been sitting around for weeks. They were WAY over priced for what boyfriend sent. The attention to detail was lacking. I suggest go elsewhere, not worth what he paid for. TERRIBLE customer service. I ordered a simple flower for my daughters prom. I requested that the stem be wrapped with a ribbon(something all her previous flowers have had). They said they would but a bow on it - my daughter didn't want a bow, she wanted the stem wrapped. My daughter called to speak to the shop to ensure the order was correct and they hung up on her! When she called back, she asked to speak to the owner. The sales woman refused and hung up on her AGAIN! When she called back a third time , the saleswoman stated 'we have caller ID you know" and hung up on her a 3rd time!!! When I called- I asked to speak with the owner and was placed on hold. A minute later, the same saleswoman came on the line and stated that I am tying up their phone line for potential customers. I stated that I am sorry- but I would like to hold for the owner (who was in the shop at the time). She promptly hung up on me. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS FLORIST. There are too many florists in the area to have to accept being treated this way. We made 2 phone calls after they hung up on us for the 5th time. We ordered the flower from a great florist down the street who had no problem wrapping the stem with ribbon - and than my credit card company to dispute the charge for services not rendered. BEWARE!!!! For Valentines Day, I bought an exquisite and fancy Orchid from this shop. 30 minutes later, when I found out from my girlfriend that she would prefer not to receive flowers for Valentines day the next day, I went back to return this gift. Immediately, they offered me store credit, which was not preferred, but at least acceptable. THEN, when the counter girl needed help doing said transaction on the drawer, the woman in the back CHANGED HER MIND about the store credit, stating that this NOW was a "custom order" and they did not offer refunds of any kind on "Custom Orders". This $53 Orchid was never touched in any way, in preparation by the staff, there were no additional flowers added, nothing. The only changes made to the plant were a replaced different colored bow, and a replaced upcharged different colored pot. SO, in my mind, this woman just might have been too lazy to walk up front to help her subordinate with the refund transaction. This is NOT the kind of business that I will be patronizing ever again. And, you should think twice about it, as well. Instead of walking up front to give me a refund, she chose to lose a customer for life, and put her business at risk for online outbursts like this. I sure hope that that $53 magically appears on my card now, so I can stop posting these rants.... read more

I ordered flowers for my grandma and found out she had just been discharged from the hospital. I called to see if I could have the flowers delivered to my grandmas house and the lady just so happened to put me on hold and then claim to be on the phone with the driver who also just happened to be at her hospital room at that moment so she could charge me 2 delivery charges. I ended up paying over 75 dollars for a 45 dollar arrangement when all done and said. They are not customer friendly. read more

Called and explained to an employee that I wanted to order 2 dozen carnations, 8 ea. red, white, blue to give to veterans at a local nursing home. She indicated the blue would be 0.25 extra each. I asked if they would waive that fee considering it was for veteran's day and for people in assisted living. She said no. I called back to speak to the manager and received the same reply. She said they had to cover the cost of paying the employee to spray paint the flower. They made no business sense and were not at all interested in listening to me. She said they give donations every day. I was going to BUY the 2 dozen roses. I only asked for a good faith $2 donation. Amazing. Thankfully I called Waterford Hill Florist who not only had the flowers without the extra charge, but volunteered to stay open past their closing time as I was going to be 10 minutes late. read more

She asked ME how much the flowers were and didn't seem capable of taking my credit card info correctly or writing down my sympathy card note. Ordering on line was fine but when I saw the flowers at the funeral, the arrangement was much smaller than the one I ordered. This place is HORRIBLE. . I called to see if it was possible to change my order and they said yes it would be a difference of $21. My card was then charged $35 instead of $21. I thought it was a mistake and I called and went into the store two days in a row to find out why and no one could help me. Finally the owner called me back the following afternoon twice in a row within 10 min and I was in a store so I missed the called and she left me a VERY RUDE message. I called right back and after yelling at me for not answering the phone, she refused to listen to a word I said. She then proceeded to call me a liar. She hung up on me which I was hoping was a mistake, so I called back and she said she wasn't taking my abuse (even though I had only gotten 2 words in which was when I tried to explain why I was calling). I said I wanted to resolve this and had been trying to since the day before and she said no you are paying the $35, you are lying and hung up on me again. I am 9 months pregnant and she was so rude to me she actually made me cry. I have never been treated this way. I thought the other people working in the store were not very nice, but the owner by far took the cake. I had to go buy flowers from somewhere else and still have $35 additional charge on my card that I am now having to dispute through my credit card company.
