I was going to come in as a new client and wanted a simple haircut but was informed they were not accepting new clients that would require hair washing; they only wash hair for established clients using their own products. This was very odd!! I wondered if I had to wash my own hair and blow dry it at home PRIOR to coming in; after I asked this, she said flatly this would cost me $50; basically feeling like she was shutting me down. I knew my color wouldn't be correct in just one sitting...and Courtney lightened it to what I wanted. She was knowledgeable about her color and knows how to hone her craft. She had me in and out in 2 hours...a record for tone, highlights wash and blow. Base was lightened - not too much cause the highlights really brightened my whole head up. My hair had to be cut off because of the damage. I have natural curly hair, it is just now getting a little curl back to it. But nothing close to what it was before! Now, it's hardly growing and continues to fall out. Then, they posted one of my personal pictures on their Facebook page and have yet to take it down after me asking multiple times. The owner was sweet, did not charge me for what they did and reimbursed me for a wig I had to get and some products. But my hair is not the same and not growing normally. The stylist tried for 3 hours to fix the orange/brass color...the harder she tried the worse it got. My daughters cried when they saw my hair. The stylist offered to fix it later tonight or Monday. I refused because I'm scared she will make it worse. If she could not get it done in 5 hours then I don't think she would be able to fix it. Ive been getting blond highlights for 25 years and this has NEVER happened! I hate to write a bad review but I'm telling you DO NOT GO HERE FOR BLOND HIGHLIGHTS!
