My wedding was perfect. First of all let me just start by explaining that my husband and I live in Washington, DC. My husbands family lives in Rexburg, ID. My family lives in Atlanta, Ga. Needless to say it was a nightmare trying to plan everything. Location/ Scenery: So I flew out to Utah went to 20 different reception sites all over Utah. The idea was to stick close to SLC because of its proximity to the airport and such. However, I wanted to at least see some of the Venues that impressed me online. Bella Vista was on that list. It was a favorite for me before I got to Utah, but when I walked in, I knew. I just knew it was the perfect place. The scenery is incredible. The giant windows surrounding the space that showcase the mountains.... is breathtaking. That kind of awe-inspiring scenery suits the backdrop of any wedding. Cost Friendly My husband and I are very frugal. We especially don't like to spend exorbitant amounts of money on ourselves. Even more for me, since my parents were paying for a large portion of the wedding, I didn't want to spend a dime. My mother however was insistent that I have a memorable wedding with all the glam that weddings should have. Let's just say, we both got our way. We had a day time wedding which was booked hourly at an incredible price. Jen and her team were there every step of the way to ensure that we were getting exactly what we needed. They have a lot of free amenities and have great prices on extra flare here and there. They worked with our budget and did not try to upsell us on this or that. Service: Jen and her team were so good at making sure to make it about our families and making it our day. They stepped back, listened, and with their expertise guided us into the right direction. On top of that they were so thoughtful of our needs. They let us know that there was an event on Friday night (day before our wedding) but we could come when it ended to start setting up or store food or whatever we needed. Even more incredible they had received a cancel for that Friday event and made us aware so that we could start setting up. Now, people would not have to get up really early in the morning or stay up late to set everything up. They didn't charge us even though they had just lost out on money from that event. To me, that just showed character and integrity. Truly people who are in the business for making people happy. I sincerely appreciate that. Beyond that many places would only let you use their caterers. Bella Vista had a list of vendors they recommended but they let us bring in food that we made or other caterers all sorts of stuff. They were so relaxed and ready to make our way work. *** Note: We served Pho at our wedding, which is a vietnamese beef soup, we have travelled to 12 different states and tried all sorts of Pho. My husband often goes to China for business and served in Taiwan and I, previous to meeting him, planned on moving to Japan. Needless to say we love Pho and Asian Culture. Wow, I am not even sure where to start with our review of Bella Vista. Absolutely everything was incredible! We were one of many who had planned our wedding, not knowing that our plans would be disrupted by COVID-19. We weren't sure how to proceed. This is where Sue came in, she was so lovely. She saw our disappointment and she was flexible and accommodating and understanding to the special circumstances.She made arrangements for us to have an intimate reception and made, what could have been a very disappointing and stressful time, a beautiful day. She took us through a general run through of what most couples do on their day but let us know they were very open to any creative ideas we had to make things a little different for our day. She really put our minds at rest and made us feel excited about our special day. During the time leading up to the wedding we were in contact with mostly Sue, but her entire staff was amazing. We obviously had so many questions and requests due to the circumstances, but she was there to quickly respond to all our questions and concerns and give helpful friendly advice for everything. When we actually got to see the venue we were absolutely blown away! It is beautiful! The whole place just has a magical feeling to it. The view of the mountains was incredible and the selection of decorations was impressive. People often ask us what was the best part about our wedding day and for both of us the best part about the day was that we didn't worry about anything. It was an incredible feeling to know that we could relax and enjoy our day knowing everything was going smoothly and our families were all enjoying themselves.  We never had to keep track of time, Sue was there making sure everything was running smoothly and on time.   We highly recommend Bella Vista, Sue and all her staff!  From the start they worked with us to accommodate our unconventional circumstances. Everything felt so personal and dedicated to us, devoted to making our day as incredible as it could be.  I think what makes Bella Vista such an incredible place is how personal everything is. Bella Vista combines convenience, options, and affordability! What a fabulous resource Bella Vista Event Center is for this area. We have done 4 weddings in 18 months for our children, (5 in 3 1/2 years) , in 3 states, and 3 seasons, indoors and outdoors, you name it, we've probably had some experience with it. This, the last one, and doing it 3 states away from where we live was, shockingly, by far the best experience overall, where convenience, options, and affordability are combined. Jill is so accommodating and supportive, and their business plan provides on site, and much of it including in the price of the facility, so many decorating, and kitchen serving details that can be personalized and mixed and matched to make putting together an event EASY with less transporting, borrowing and COMPLEXITY that make weddings stressful. (Although you still can choose to bring in almost anything if you want to.) Just ask, and it is likely they have it, it from nice lifts for displays to chalk boards, easels, and beverage dispensers, as well as a great variety of centerpiece elements. We also were so appreciative of the option to do our own food without the requirement of a caterer which made keeping costs down much easier and were still able to pull off a lovely, fun, brunch reception for our daughter, exactly what she wanted. I wish we had had a place like this for ALL of our weddings. THank you does not go far enough. There was not one detail I would improve. And we have enough experience to know. They have thought of everything. The bride and grooms dressing rooms are even stocked with those details that can recover a disaster if you forgot hairspray or a need a pin for repairs or a bobby pin, even movies for the young guest that is overstressed from the events! You are lucky to have access to such a terrific event center and staff, and we were fortunate to have it available for us! read more

This truly is a great place to have a wedding/ reception! This place was top on my list really because of the price, being that it was a lot less than other venues that I had looked at, but that started to change once I actually went and saw the venue. The first time I saw it, it was really nice but I was still a little hesitant that it was just in a nice building, and wasn't a place on its own, but come my wedding night it was completely 100% perfect! The ceiling decorations that they have there are beautiful and transform the room into a completely new room. The place itself is very nice with a beautiful foyer, bride/groom room, and a good size kitchen with everything needed! The room is open for you to set it up any which way you like, and before you even get there it's set up exactly how you asked it to be with tables/ linens, and chairs all set up in place. There are a TON of free decorations you can use with the venue rental that are actually really nice and not cheap items, plus there are decorations that you can rent that I also took advantage of! I was 100% happy with having my wedding there! It wasn't very expensive, it was classy, beautiful, big, and just made for a perfect venue. I would recommend this place to anyone who was looking! The staff is great as well, it was never a chore or hassle working with anyone there, and they are more than willing to answer any questions that you may have, or go over anything with you. Both my mom and I were quite clueless on how the "wedding" thing worked, what order things go in, what to do next ect and Jen was able to answer all the questions we had. I loved this place! OH and one more thing to mention, the view is amazing! The mountains are beautiful, and at night that floor is lit up so pretty it's fun to look up into the room and see what's going on. read more

When I first started planning my wedding I wasn't looking for a typical reception center. I had a vision of what I wanted my wedding reception to be like and look like and I was worried I wasn't going to find a place that could accommodate all my needs. Then I found Bella Vista. Bella Vista was the only reception center I looked at in person. I went there, met with Jen and was sold. Let's just say we put the deposit down the day before I got engaged. Bella Vista is amazing to work with. You have the option to bring in your own vendors and create your dream reception. There were many times I referred to them as my "blank canvas" during the wedding planning process. They have many decorations and features you can pick and choose from to add to your special event. Since it was the first wedding my mother and I had ever planned we had a lot of questions and didn't know how to work out the logistics for everything. Jen was great and made our event as smooth and efficient as possible. My fiancé and I wanted different things (I wanted just a dinner and he wanted a reception). We were able to compromise and utilize our resources to do a dinner with 96 guests and smoothly transition to a reception in a matter of an hour. This worked out thanks to Bella Vista. They are great to work with and if you want to eliminate a lot of stress on your wedding day, book your reception here. You won't regret it. read more

The Bella Vista is a beautiful event center. Our daughter and her fiancé wanted an elegant but rustic feel for their July wedding. After shopping around Utah County we found that Bella Vista was the best value with the least amount of work for us on the wedding day. Jen Edwards and staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. Bella Vista allows you to bring in your own catering service, photographers, and decorations. They also have closet full of decorations free of charge. Round tables, chairs, linens and a large screen TV for the wedding video or slideshow were included in the event rental fee. Jen and staff had the room set up prior to our arrival allowing us to put our finishing touches to the room once we arrived. I would highly recommend Bella Vista Reception Center for any event. Our experience with Bella Vista was great! They were there for our every need and at the same time they were never overbearing in any way. Bella Vista is GORGEOUS! We had our wedding reception when the sun was going down and the views were absolutely incredible! If you translate Bella Vista from Spanish and Portuguese it translates to beautiful view. Bella Vista really stays true to their name. I looked into several reception and events centers in Utah County. Bella Vista was my top choice in price, beauty and location. They also provided seriously almost all of the decorations we needed! I just added a few finishing touches. It was great and took a lot of stress off of me! They have 2 closets full of decorations and things to use for your event. They provided and set up the tables, chairs and linens! You could purchase add ons such as chinese lanterns, chandeliers and ceiling fabrics at an affordable choice if you wish to do so. They have a huge kitchen that you may use and you may bring your own caterer if you would like. Bella Vista worked patiently with us, our caterer and DJ making themselves available for us to come in and check things out and get ideas whenever possible. They also a brides room, grooms room and convenient restrooms. We were absolutely impressed with our experience at Bella Vista and would highly recommend them. read more

I absolutely LOVED my experience with Bella Vista! I just had my reception there last month and it was honestly the perfect place. First of all, the pricing is AMAZING for what you get. In addition, the location is excellent and the views are incredible. Three sides of the room are windows and it just looks awesome. I also loved how hassle-free it was for us. They set up all the tables and chairs and provided tablecloths as well as tons of centerpiece options and decorations. You could easily have a reception there without having to go out and get any decorations of your own. I love that you reserve the room for the whole afternoon and evening which makes it so you can come in and set your stuff up and also you have flexibility as to which hours you would like your event. I love that you get to go in a month before your event to map out how you want the room set up and anything other additional things you might want set up. The people who work there are amazing and so prompt and helpful with any questions or concerns you might have. Overall, amazing experience and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place. I spent lots of time looking for a reception center, but kept running into issues. Many reception centers were very expensive and on top of that, required that you use their expensive caterers/ florists and didn't have many things there for you to rent and use. Bella Vista solved those issues! It's a great price, they allow you to use your own caterers and florists and have closets full of tablecloths, cute vases, chalkboards, and other cute little decorations to use. It was so nice to have so many decorations already provided in the price of the reception center! They also have many other decoration options for a little additional fee. I paid extra to have the cute paper lanterns attached to the cute twinkly lights on the ceiling. (The center itself is so beautiful as is that it doesn't take much to make it a magical atmosphere.:) On top of the beautiful room, the managers of the center were so wonderful to work with! They were totally personable and willing to help make my plans a reality. Overall, it was so beautiful, within our price range, and so stress free because of all of the things included there! I am thrilled with my experience at Bella Vista. I was in charge of a high school reunion and I researched over a dozen venues in the Utah Valley and Bella Vista was HANDS DOWN the best choice. 1. They are affordable. Our event was a Saturday morning brunch and for under $500 we got to bring in our own catering, play our own music, use their audio visual equipment and have everything run exactly as planned. It is nice, clean and professional inside, especially for their price point. 2. They are helpful. There was someone at our event the entire time AND she was more than helpful. We had a great event with hardly any hiccups, but if we had a question, she had an answer. 3. Their communication is fast and easy. We were planning our event from out of town, and payment, reservations and other specifics were handled professionally. 4. There weren't any problems. We followed our half of the bargain and they followed theirs. If you are looking for a professional event and a nice staff, go here. You'll save a few dollars and no one at your event will know! What a wonderful venue for a wedding! We were making plans for our wedding from another state and I expected it to be a stressful event. From the first communication with the staff at Bella Vista I felt reassured that everything would be taken care of and all would go as planned. The day of the wedding, the facility was clean, set up perfectly. It looked beautiful! and elegant. The staff was very helpful and offered useful suggestions as needed, they were organized, professional and cared about the details as much as we did. In fact, the day of the wedding, in my rush to get my family ready, I missed some of the last minute details. The hostess jumped in and came up with quick solutions to seemingly complex problems. It turned out to be a perfect evening, I would not have changed a thing. Bella Vista was so easy to work with, we were going to use a backyard for our wedding and then we found them. Jill was so helpful in the planning she let us look at the books for ideas, took us for a tour, and also showed us all the items that were available for us to use in our decorating. They don't require you use to use a certain catering company and that was a huge money saver for us. They supply you with a kitchen with many accessories so that your caterer or whoever is providing your food can use. We also weren't required to pay all of it up front, so that was really helpful. They have many options for back drops and extra things to make your event your own. We met with Jill a month early to discuss how we wanted everything set up for the event. It was so nice to be able to hold the wedding and reception in the same place. That made many things come together very nicely. Working with the staff was flawless and they are really affordable. I thought we had chosen a good place for my daughter's wedding reception. But, on the night of the reception, I realized we had an *amazing* place for it. Not only did we arrive with beautiful decorations, warm, inviting lighting, great food. But the building's 3rd floor, glass walls showered us with an amazing sunset. It was so beautiful to see the sun setting across the west and have the wasatch mountains visible right behind us. It was almost surreal how great the views were. Jennifer Edwards who runs the place was great to work with. She took time to understand what we are looking for and shared a variety of options that fit our style and our budget. She never pushed for this expensive addition or that. Often offering and delivering more than we expected. We had an amazing reception. I think I even enjoyed it more than when I was married. Bella Vista was the perfect place for our reception! I fell in love with the place the first time I saw it. The staff was so helpful and friendly in making sure everything was set up perfectly. They answered all of my questions and made sure I got what I really wanted. They had great advice about where to place things to make everything look just right. The location was perfect and the views were amazing! I had my reception there in June and it was the best experience. Planning my reception would have been much more stressful if it weren't for the helpful people at Bella Vista. They have almost everything you need (decorations, linens) already there which made set up that much easier. We were able to bring in our own florist and caterer and Bella Vista worked with them so well. I was extremely happy with my experience at Bella Vista. The employees there are very helpful and the prices were great. It was a simple, classy venue with plenty of space. I even had room for a live band and dancing. One thing that is so great about this place is that they already have a lot of stuff available for you to use including tablecloths, centerpiece accessories, vases, a mic system and everything. They set up the tables how you want them. They have different decorating options to choose from plus you can add whatever else you would like on your own. They also have a kitchen, bridal room, and grooms room right off of the main reception hall for your convenience. I will admit I was nervous about the fact that there is a urgent care unit on the main floor of this building, but they are closed after 5 and it didn't effect my wedding reception at all. read more

I absolutely loved haveing my reception at Bella Vista. I looked at many wedding venues, and theirs was incredibly reasonable. They were so helpful, and willing to help me with all aspects of the wedding! I came in several times to try and figure out how I wanted to decorate (because I am super picky) and they never got annoyed with me, instead were completely willing to help me figure out how I was going to design things. Most of the decorations and the tablecloths come for free (they have a few nicer things that can be rented reasonably), which cut down on the cost of decorations a ton. I loved them!! The staff is the best! They helped me through this whole process, and they even had a person there at the night of my reception who made sure that the whole event went smoothly! I searched for a long time looking for good wedding reception spots in Provo/Orem/Pleasant Grove area. Some places were beautiful, but too expensive and didn't offer anything other than the venue. I honestly can say this is your best bet for an indoor reception. It has a urban/city feel inside, and they provide ALL the decorations, tables, chairs, table cloths, etc. You pay for certain things, like the dance floor (which I TOTALLY recommend, that was the biggest hit at our reception). They have cute lights everywhere and nice white curtains. It is so beautiful, great parking, and the owners/staff are amazing. They set up everything and cleaned up everything. For their price....I wouldn't have my reception anywhere else. read more

My experience with Bella Vista was great! My wife and I loved the setting and atmosphere of their venue. The first time we visited, we knew that was the place. They worked with us in trying to make our reception as perfect as possible. They helped maximize the space in the room and gave suggestions and provided just the right decorations and add-ons. I loved the Wave Ceiling decoration that they have and it complimented well to our "Tropical" theme. We had tons of compliments from our guests. I loved that they had to microphones available which made it easy for our two MTC's to light up the crowd and i loved that they had both a Brides Room and a Grooms Room. We had a great experience working with Bella Vista as well has having the wedding at Bella Vista. They gave us some suggestions as what to expect and ideas as what food ideas would be or have worked best. Very pretty place to have an event with the lighting, big open windows and with room to fit man people and yet room for a dance party, very cozy and comfortable feel at Bella Vista. Pricing was reasonable and not over priced as well as having many items to add to our own decorations. The kitchen had a good open set up that was easy to get to as well as food tiers and platters and utensils that we were able to us.
