On Yelp app, it only shows up as "Memorial Hermann Medical Group Southw..." among dozens of other specialty care offices. I can't speak for other people but I was here several times with a patient to see one particular heart doctor at this southwest location. Again, the office is located at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital's Medical Plaza 2, far left of all 4 buildings. This cardiology office has several examining rooms with paper thin walls and lots of staff. The echo room (for EKG) is uniquely furnished with modern equipment and it has a desk and a cabinet from last century. They use Memorial Hermann labs for xray and lab tests. Be sure, I repeat, be sure to check their orders and prescriptions to pharmacy. They often miss something and it's time consuming to correct it. There are several parking lots within walking distance to Medical Plaza 2. Best place to park is at Alamo Lot, which is the biggest lot without any trees facing Southwest Freeway. Because this is the only lot would allow validation. Just walk across the driveway and jump on an elevator to 7th floor. There is only one way to enter Suite 700. While in the waiting room, there are TV, free wifi, self-serve coffee machine and cold water dispenser. If you want to use restroom, you can exit the exit-only door and walk pass elevator. But you have to enter from the other door, not the door you came out of.

The practice is very organized and the medical care he provides is outstanding. Multiple tests can conveniently be performed in his office including stress tests, echocardiograms and blood work. The reason for this low rating is because he refused continuing treatment when patient didn't want to take Entresto. It gave the patient lots of side effects and had to take additional medicine to control them. Last thing came out of his mouth was "I don't want you as my patient!" That was before we left his clinic and never returned. Lesson learned here: Never trust doctors with over 30 years of medical practice and very stubborn about modern technology. Before they would see my newborn daughter for a pretty important visit, they required payment. The payment was 50% more than what Texas Children's charges so I asked to be able to speak with our insurance and verify the charges/review the EOB. They refused and canceled her appointment while we were there in the waiting room. We had to scramble and schedule with THC ASAP because she needed to be seen for a weight concern. I asked to speak with the clinic manager about this but he refused to see me. I called later that day and asked to speak with him and I was told he would call me back the following day. He never did. It is unreasonable to charge a seemingly arbitrary amount of money which is much higher than other clinics and not allow the patient to verify the EOB at least one time. And then refuse to speak to me about it and cancel our appointment as we wait to speak to management. They should have allowed me to have my daughter seen as it was an important appointment and then allowed me to call insurance to verify before paying. Terrible customer service and treatment of patients. It was pretty appalling. And now they did not get paid for that appointment anyway and will not get our business in the future, so they were unreasonable for nothing.
