Office is extremely clean, staff and medical professionals were kind and courteous. Treatment was quick. Couldn't be better.

My daughter in law came in for a bad upper respiratory infection. Andrew helped her and apparently was incredibly respectful and helpful, she told me a lot about him. Alright, some of you need a reality slap in the face LOL. This place was great! I was a walk in today around 5pm and only had to wait maybe 40ish mins. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The doctor and nurses were willing to listen and took me seriously. I really want to say here: yes, they are urgent care - not EMERGENCY CARE. Even in emergency centers, TRIAGE EXISTS FOR A REASON. Now, they don't do that so much because that's not what urgent care is for. Be kind to these workers. If you come in with severe pain, please understand they are limited by laws and regulations. They're doing what they can. I've been coming here for almost 10 years when random stuff pops up. I always recommend it. read more

Overall just a horrible experience. Front desk was robotic without any personality or care. Asked if I got the text for registration (I didnt) and said they would resend it... I waited 10 minutes before I got frustrated and went back to front desk just trying to register...finally I was handed an iPad to register (why wasn't this done the first time) 35 minutes later I was finally seen (I had an appointment and it still took this long), I came in for a simple full panel blood test and the nurse couldn't find a vein. She at least was sweet and said she didn't wanna keep poking around that she would have the nurse practitioner to do it. First photo is the nurse, second is the practitioner who did a BUTCH job. I had to go to a separate diagnostic practice to complete the job I came to them to do!! (And wasted 2 hours of my day) The entire staff at Quest were blown away at the poor level of medical care I received. AND next level urgent care failed to fill in the document referral fully so my new nurse had to sit on hold for 20 minutes trying to get the information that should have been listed on the referral order they gave to me. I had a great experience coming here recently for a possible broken bone. I filled out all the paperwork online prior to going and checked in through the app. II walked in waited 7 minutes then they called me back did an X-ray gave me all the info I needed. I paid my co pay from my insurance which they took. I'd definitely come back if I have any other health issues needed to be addressed if my PCP isn't available like on a weekend! read more

I like this place. Granted, I hate having to come here because it means someone is sick or hurt, but Next Level urgent care tends to be a pretty painless option if you need urgent care. Making an appointment online ahead of time has meant I never have to wait very long- 10, 15 minutes maximum once I'm there. You can also fill out your paperwork and scan in IDs and insurance cards ahead of time, saving you time once you're at the office. The staff is also nice, very caring and they have been thorough and quick each time I've been- things I appreciate when I am not feeling well. They can run the standard tests your PCP can plus some, and I like the electronic prescription filling so you can head straight from the doctor to your pharmacy and almost always have your script ready to go! I did have an issue with billing once, but I called and they got it straightened out right away- I was on the phone for less than 5 minutes and it was fixed. Turns out they didn't run the bill through my insurance, and once they did it took care of the charges- nice! We'll continue coming here as long as we keep getting sick or hurt on the weekends. read more

Worst office experience ever!!! My sister went in thinking she might have Toxic Shock Syndrome and the tampon was still inside. The front desk lady said they can try to treat that but she might have to go to ER. After waiting 30 mins, I asked the front desk lady if she was next and she immediately had an attitude and said "she is a walk-in so there are people ahead of her". I told her she was starting to get really dizzy and nauseous and the front desk lady (who is not a doctor) said "what she is experiencing is okay and she will be fine". I thought urgent care was normally for walk ins/unexpected things. Anyways we came 2 mins down the street to Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care and they are super nice and welcoming! I recommend Memorial Hermann-GoHealth from now on and will use this as my urgent care needs from now on! They saw her within 10 mins of arriving and got her back right away!! read more

I will never go back to that clinic. I visited the clinic on a Friday evening, and the person there told me that my symptoms were probably caused by a virus. They mentioned that the presence of green doesn't always indicate an infection. I was given a prescription for a cough medicine. However, fortunately, I didn't take it. The following Saturday, I ended up in the ER with pneumonia, a $2000 ER bill and a $30 syrup that's not supposed to be taken with pneumonia. read more

This place is awesome, very professional and FAST. I went December 29th, really sick with the flu! They got me in and out within 35 minutes sent the prescriptions immediately to CVS and I was able to catch my flight in time! I recently went as I got into a freak accident and thought my foot was broken. I only waited 10 minutes in the lobby. Ben took me to the back, got my xrays, he was very kind, gentle, polite & extremely empathetic as he taught me how to use my boot & adjusted the crutches for me! I asked him some weird questions about xrays & he was so informative and made the whole experience comforting for me! The second guy who helped me was Dr. Chang, super energetic I loved his energy. He turned my sad situation into a positive one and made me laugh. He also had a cool marvel mask on lol. I appreciate Dr. Chang & Ben for the quick service & making me feel comfortable every step of the way! (Also the doctor I had in December but I don't really remember his name sorry!) But they do everything here, save you some money, get some professional & kind help here! read more

Six months after I received care at NextLevel Urgent Care in Tanglewood, I was billed for a medication I never received. Never once have I ever received medication on site, only a prescription, at most. Yet, six months after my insurance companies paid at 100%, I was billed for a medication not covered by my insurance. Which, again, I DID NOT RECEIVE. I will never visit these people again. Only urgent care facilities affiliated with our local medical networks, like Houston Methodist, or Memorial Hermann, will ever get my business again. read more

The worker at the front container was so rude she spoke to me like I had 2 tails. I have 26 years of nursing experience and healthcare is definitely not like it used to be. Healthcare professionals was concerned about the patient and the family of the patient not always about getting payment. I'm heading for retirement in 10 years but hate to see run down service. Friendly Staff. However, they charge $75 for the covid rapid test + an urgent care copay. This was not made clear in the phone before I drove out to the clinic. Most places will do this for free. If you are looking for free testing, there is a good urgent care on Westheimer and Gessner that does not collect for the rapid test. Also, CVS minute clinics cover the cost. read more

I have used Next Level several times over the past few years and the experience has always been great. Needed them again last weekend for a possible eye injury; previously it has been for sinus / flu / possible pneumonia-type symptoms. It doesn't seem to matter - they always know what to do. And if they don't know immediately, they consult quickly with someone who does and let you know asap if they can intervene or if you need more complex care. Everyone there is pleasant, efficient and courteous - from the front desk personnel to the medical assistants and the Nurse Practitioners. Fabulous care and not insanely expensive - at least in my experience. Call ahead if you can, but walk-ins are OK too. I don't know why they seem so much better than other urgent care places. I just hope it continues. read more

Even if you make an appointment and check in on line, you still have to wait in line behind walk ins to check in. My appointment was at 10:15 and waited in line until 10:30, still have to wait to see the doctor. There's other urgent care facilities that will honor people that take the time to schedule an appointment. read more

Front staff and nurse/techs were kind and attentive. The PA (Yakima Brown) was quite rude and abrupt. When asked a question, if I went into detail she would cut me off and repeat the question in a stern tone. I could tell she found my "common cold/flu" questions rudimentary and did not address my concerns with the OTC medicine I was taking. It felt like she was trying to rush me out the door. Front staff where great and pleasant and even walked over tell me she is trying to get us seen however appointments seems to trump the reason for the visit at this location. No triaging. I have an 8 month old infant with swelling to both eyes not being seen over so far 5-6 people who had an appointment, all who arewalkie talkie and appears breathing fine over an 8 month old infant walk-in again with swelling to her face all be it in good spirits. nothing about this is "Next Level" i get people make appointments but acuity should definitely still be considered. read more

I had a wonderful experience here, all things considered. I recently sliced a large amount of skin off the top of my thumb off and raced off to find an ER clinic to help. I stopped at the closest clinic, Sacred Heart, and was treated like a hassle. See review for more info. I left and went to the next closest clinic, which is for the review I am writing. I went to Next Level and was greeted by Naomi and Destiny. What a world of a difference - they were smiling, they immediately asked me if I was OK and were so welcoming and caring. They helped me register since I was obviously in pain with my wound. They immediately escorted me back, helped me settle in and continued to check on me. Lenee was the nurse practitioner who assisted me. She looked at my thumb and the skin that sliced off and explained the potential options. She choose, thankfully, to take the challenge to reattach (stitch) the skin back on. She was very meticulous and thorough and helped me to feel confident during the whole process. I hope I never need to visit an ER clinic again, but if I did, this business delivered over and above my expectations. On Sunday my right side started to ache. Sharp pain in the ribs. Since I was coming off of a severe cold w horrendous coughing I figured it was pleurisy (I know, self diagnosis). I woke up Monday & the pain was severe so I headed over to see if I could get some meds for pain management. The place is clean, nice waiting area & checkin was quick. I mentioned chest pains w associated cough. I was shown a room & completed some sort of questionnaire. A nurse came in to ask questions, take my temp & blood pressure. Again I mentioned the chest pain & possible pleurisy. The doctor walked in & she listened to my lungs & immediately discussed some med options. Something for my cough & a nasal spray for the congestion. I mentioned the chest pain & she didn't seem too concerned with pleurisy. I was advised to take Advil for the pain. By Wednesday there pain was so severe I ended up in the ER. They took my concerns of chest seriously (with possible pleurisy) & after a x-ray I was set up with an IV line, hooked up to a cardio machine & in a private room. The doctor gave me the news, I fractured 2 ribs. A CT scan followed & inaddition to the rib fracture, I have pneumonia. I was given morphine for the pain & sent on my way with prescriptions for antibiotics & tylenol-codeine. I looked at my paperwork from the clinic & noticed the reason they put for my visit was for a cough. WTF? Thanks to this place for ignoring my complaints of chest pain I walked around for 2 days in pain. I feel they were more interested shuffling me in & out than listening to me. Seriously the wait in the ER was worth it over this place. read more

The clinic itself is super clean, conveniently located, easy to sign in and out of, Ive never had to wait longer than 5 minutes to be brought back, and no more than 10 to be seen. I had to go there back in April and at the time they didn't tell me about a copay. I even asked. Do I owe anything? They told me. No. You're good. I had given them my cc and ID as requested when I checked in. 4 months later I get a random charge on my debit card for $60 with absolutely no warning!! I called them and they said they sent me a text message. I never received a text. And why on earth would you text?? Why would I not get a phone call with a message left?? It caused my account an insufficient funds charge and to go negative. Also was basically told it was my fault because I signed a piece of paper saying all this. But why would you text??? I just don't understand. Especially if you're going to wait 4 months!!!! Like wtf??!???! You people do what you want. But I will not be going back here. Ever. 4 months and no warning..??? I made an appointment to get an earplug unstuck from my ear. The clinic took my information and knew what I needed. The technician attempted to extract the plug but failed. I was charged $175 for the "office visit" but not charged for the failed attempt. She used what looked like medical tweezers and she had someone hold up a light up as she tried. My ENT pulled the plug out in 10 seconds. He had a light and a magnifying device on a stand to aid in the retrieval. He said I had some bruising inside the ear likely from the Urgent Care. I wanted to write a review in case you are like me where you think Urgent Care business are well equipped and have ER level services. This one certainly did not! If you have a fever or need pain management these guys can likely help you. If you need a little skill and some specialized equipment it was subpar. What they should have done is told me at the time of my call that they are not equipped like an ENT and given me the choice to wait to see my regular doctor. Instead, they fished around in my ear causing more trauma, and charged me money for the privilege. At the very least they should have not charged anything for that experience. read more

I went to the Next Level Urgent care on San Felipe. I have had 2 moderne shots 28 days apart in March. I was at a wedding , outside, in Austin on Saturday And I went to be tested for Covid. I will get my results on Monday. I felt so bad Had all the Covid symptoms . They were On time for my appointment and were Just great. Kathleen was the nurse, very Professional and knowledgeable! Second trip here for COVID PCR test. Waited for a couple hours , watching 2-3 people go in and out of clinic. Not satisfied with this visit which seemed to take 3 times longer than it should have, will not return. Considering I came here from downtown due to my initial experience ( which was positive). Receptionist was back and forth from reception area. Didn't seem to invested in process. To complement this, during the PCR test the technician dropped some material on the floor and picked it up with her gloved hand then used the same gloves to perform the test. read more
