Locally made crafts/gifts/cards and the store is filled to the brim with lovely things! Good to note: If you put 50 Pleasant street Norwich in your GPS it will take you to the back of the building which is the wrong side. Go past pleasant st and the parking lot is on your left! Or search for Dexters smoothie and Coffee vault. The location is a little odd but definitely a hidden gem!

It's hard to walk away from this store coz it's so cute n adorable and evokes an interest just from the outside and makes you curious on what you may find inside... its quite small .. a hodgepodge of wonderful handmade crafts all made locally in CT... makes for a one of a kind gift... I bought some whimsical clips and rings for the kids and they weren't priced too high which makes it all the more wonderful.... hard to list what you can find coz there are just too many knick knacks but to give you an idea handmade greeting cards, seasonal items... earrings, lip balm holders, hand carved stone animals...you can spend a good lot of time if you enjoy things like this. We popped into Frog and Toad to see what else they had to offer. We found it was a fun spot full of eclectic trinkets and items, gifts and clothing. We enjoyed looking through all the items, getting some good laughs and even picking up a few small items to take home. This shop is a fun and unique spot, definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

While I was speaking to the shop keep, they told me about a nice farmstand down the street on my way home so of course I pulled over as soon as I saw it to acquire some great fresh fresh produce before heading back to Boston. The stand was of a smaller size but very well arranged with super curb appeal. I would give it 100 out of 100. There were little sections that were very decorative but for sale. They comprised of all the different types of squashes pumpkins, and flowers with a cart in the middle for doing business. The woman running the farmstand was a little startled because the first thing I did as an Elite Yelper was to whip out my phone and start taking photographs. I don't think this is happened here before as she thought there was an issue ha ha. Promptly I introduced myself and explained that Im an Elite Yelper and what an Elite Yelper actually does. I explained that I was going to take a few photographs and then I would purchase some vegetables. After my explanation, she was relieved and turned out to be quite the sweetheart. Of course I asked a lot of questions like where the vegetables were grown etc. She was extremely happy to have a conversations about everything she had for sale . She had quite the , two different types of corn, fresh picked tomatoes, beautiful bulbs of garlic, red onions, fingerling potatoes, and so much more. I wanted to buy everything at the stand, but of course I had to limit myself. I decided to take home a dozen corn still in the husk, five large freshly picked tomatoes, five large bulbs of garlic, and a bag of multicolored fingerling potatoes which I handpicked to get an even amount or as close to of the different colorings (yellow, red, dark purple). If you are ever in Stafford, I would highly suggest to stop by this roadside farmstand. You will 100% walk away with something fantastic and delicious. At the time of writing this review, I have only indulged in the tomatoes, which were delicious. They tasted as if I picked them off the vine, cut them up, put a little sea salt on them from my backyard. Again this is a five star farm stand. Save the local grower, buy locally grown produce.
