Only to be called an hour later that her appointment would need rescheduled due to their dental drill not working. Their only opening that also worked with MY schedule, was an another three weeks out. So now my dog that suffers from anxiety and was already very anxious about the whole situation, including me, has to wait almost another month. And deal with more pain in the process. I also received minimal to no sympathy from the staff regarding the situation. They basically brushed it off and treated me like it was no big deal that my schedule is now disrupted and I wasted a day off with time I will not receive back from my employer. I also had another very important meeting with an attorney today, that also had to be pushed back as a result of me having to run back and pick her up again. Whole thing was a mess and the lack of concern from the staff is very concerning in of itself. I'll be back cause I don't have a choice to, but I'm estimated to be spending around 1000-1500$ for this whole thing. I also had to starve my dog for 12 hours prepping her for surgery. And for what? The vet to not properly check their tools beforehand? I know stuff happens but you're taking people's hard earned money AND cutting into their busy schedules. Maybe try showing some more respect regarding that. They were also supposed to trim her nails and they didn't even do that. Could've at least done one thing I had planned on getting done. Once her surgery is done, another three weeks from now, I won't be coming back.

Every time she has an issue, they take her entire well being into consideration. What will be best for her (and my pocketbook) is always suggested, and there are always multiple options. The staff knows her by name when we walk in, and they are such kind folks. We were patients of Dr. Raab and made the switch when he sold the practice. We noticed no change in the level of care we received. TL;DR: I'll recommend Covenant to everyone. They are by far the best vets in the area, and they won't even break the bank.

Just a couple of hours after the appointment, we were emailed a detailed (4 pages) document, recording all that transpired during the visit. I boarded him over Thanksgiving weekend, and while the ladies working there were very sweet, there was a huge miscommunication on their part. I left his food with a clearly labeled 1/3 cup scoop, and he eats 1.5 cups per day, yet they assumed the 1/3 scoop was a full cup and severely underfed him. He clawed at the metal gate so much that his paws started bleeding, and no one told me until I called them myself and even then, they barely answered the phone. I had to call multiple times just to reach someone. Since they don't let owners see the boarding area, I had no idea he was in a setup that stressed him out, and I wish someone had recommended upgrading him to a suite with a glass door. When I picked him up, he was noticeably skinnier, had dried blood on his paws and even had poop on his back paws. I feel incredibly guilty, like he thought I abandoned him and let him starve, and I will not be boarding him here again.

However, they have lost my business and the business of my friends/family after my most recent interaction. My cat has a condition that causes crystals in his bladder to form if he doesn't eat a special diet. This food is considered a prescription and needs to be refilled my the vet each time I order it. I received a phone call saying they could not refill the prescription because they hadn't seen my cat in over a year. They tell me this last minute, when my cat could quite literally die if he doesn't eat this food which I'm trying to order because it is almost out. I have recently moved cities and didn't think to find a vet yet. So after refusing to make an exception even though it was their failure to inform me I needed to make appointments yearly, I spent an hour on the phone frantically trying to find a vet with a last minute opening to prescribe the food. Horrible customer service that literally put my cats life at risk.
