This is a really good local business for framed artwork. I was thinking about getting a huge poster framed at Michael's or Hobby Lobby but decided to look on Yelp first, and this place came up. I'm so glad I checked it out! They framed a large poster for me for about $180 with plexiglass. Other places would charge $250+ for the same thing. When you go up, it's a very nondescript building. I wasn't sure I was in the right place. But sure enough, once I went inside and said "hello!", somebody came up to help me. They were pretty quick and helped me put it in my car. I am SO happy Belle Arte was recommended to me by a friend and this is my go to place for future framing! Amazing and beautiful work. Customer service is top notch. They are fast, efficient and extremely affordable. Long story short, I bought 2 vintage posters in Sri Lanka and they were quite large (24 x 36), 2 places quoted me $300 each to frame. I almost gave up on framing them because that was very expensive considering I spent $35 for both of the posters. Belle Arte quoted me LESS than $300 for both, that is incredible. Not only were they affordable but customer service was amazing. They were patient with showing me framing options, helped carry my pieces to my car and load it and had a quick turn around. Short Review: Local wholesaler of framing who does services for walk-ins as well. Everything's a custom job and they aim to please and satisfy. I was very impressed with their work. Ask for Lanna - the Creative Director. Long Review: On a referral from a friend, I called these guys to frame the broom we jumped after we said our wedding vows. They suggested a shadow box to properly display it on the wall, and even had a sample of a guitar they'd done that for in the past. Sounded good to me, so they helped me pick out colors, fabrics, textures, etc., to make it look great. I figured it would take them a week or two to complete the job, but they did it in only one day! I was very impressed with the speed of service and with the final product. I highly suggest them; great local business. I didn't have an appointment but dropped by in the early afternoon and they were able to help me super quickly. I'm usually someone who gets IKEA frames and makes it work (even if they're not the right size oops), but I was gifted a piece by a friend that deserved better. First of all, the prices are GREAT, which is good for me because frame prices can become astronomical when you are showing your paintings regularly. They have a very good selection of frames, and perhaps most importantly, I can trust them to get my pieces framed in the time that they say they will be done--or sometimes sooner. I am so impressed with this place. I was invited to have one of my drawings in an art show, and needed to get it framed. The piece is a graphite (black and white) drawing of cherries. The man who helped me first asked me what style I was looking for, and I said simple. He started with a black frame and white mat, but I wanted to add some color with a second mat in red. He pulled the two red mats he had in the display, but neither provided the pop of color I was hoping for. But I didn't have to say anything, he asked me to wait while he looked for a different red mat that he knew they had. That one was the perfect red. Then he asked me to wait another minute, rummaged around a bit and pulled out this frame sample that was a beautiful red with an inlay detail. Absolutely stunning! And the piece was ready in just a week. I will definitely be using them again. read more

I swear by Belle Arte. I love the idea of custom framing but most of the hipster places in Echo park, Pasadena, Highland Park, downtown, etc are way out of my budget. I've tried about 7 different spots over the years and Belle Arte beats all with pricing and service. A nice, quality custom frame at Belle Arte is pretty much the same price as a cheap, particle board frame at Aaron Brothers that gets scratched or breaks as soon as you take off the shrink wrap. read more
