Been looking into finding a new brow threading and lash place. Super thankful I ran into Sona today and that I tried them out, I have thick eyebrows and a lot of people tend to like to thin them out but she did a beautiful job in maintaining the thickness of my brows while giving me a nice shape. After a horrible experience at another place I thought it best to leave this review to commend Michelle Peck and Staff on their eyelash extension skills. A Star was lost due to all the drama and not being able to get a hold of her for a new set. I moved away and when I came back into town I couldn't reach anyone. I can only assume based on the horrible reviews here that it's due to work drama. Anyway, when you get a chance to get your eyelashes done by michelle they are amazing! I've had natural to babydoll to dramatic and never once has issues or regretted it. I've came here twice already and they do a good job with the lashes. However I tried calling multiple times (different days) for a fill, even left a voicemail and didn't receive a call back. My fill turned into a full set and I had to text someone to get a call back. I scheduled an appointment and then they called to say that time was booked but they'd find me something else "soon." They told me I'd have to wait ANOTHER week and that I'd be helped by their newest technician for a discounted price. For someone who's been a regular client and tried calling and getting in touch with this place, AND getting my appointment cancelled, I was expecting better customer service. Now this is what I'm talkin about... I walked out loving the service, and loving my lashes !! My prior experiences having them done have been a disappointment, to say the least. Booking the appointment was easy, they didn't require a deposit. Also I learned they don't charge you for the level of experience of your tech. There's only 2 options: natural or dramatic, which is perfect because I feel like: give a girl too many options... and it doesn't go well I was seen right a away, no sitting & waiting or doing tons of tedious paperwork. I was fortunate enough to have Lorraine do mine. Such a sweet girl. She was friendly & patient enough to understand what I wanted & make suggestions. It only took her an hour. Bless her heart! First of this review is for lack of detail, attention to costumer. I been coming to this "spa" for 1 year, usually Aardell does an exceptional job. Lately I haven't been able to book an appointment with her or anyone else who was there before, so I decided to give the tech an opportunity. My appointment time was @ 8:30 pm, 45 minutes prior my appointment I received a text from them stating the my lash tech was 20 minutes behind, I said ok no big deal. By the time I arrived to the salon she takes an extra 10 minutes to see me I had a fill of volume lashes, tech did the minimum and was rushed to do "quick job". When she was done my lashes felt and looked weird, but since it was past 10 pm I was in a rush to leave. - Next day around 8:30 am I contacted the owner Michelle, explaining the situation, two hours later she reply's with "I'll take a look at my schedule" I ask by when can I expect an answer (as I have an engagement) -which she reply 4 hours later "let me see, I'll try to accommodate you and move clients around". It's been four day, she never care to call/text back. It's very frustrating to have this kind of attitude/service. This business keeps jerking clients around between their salon and their home base "salon". Now I understand the bad reviews and why most of the good techs left this business. - I won't be going back here with unlicensed tech, as stated pervious reviews owner is the only one with license. Should have read these below 3 star comments/reviews before i went to this place to get my wife her eye lash extension done. First off, the customer service as far as greeting my wife up to getting her extension done was great. I am sure the lady that did my wife's eye lashes did a great job but what was promised of 2 weeks of great looks for my wife only lasted 4 freaking days. Her lash extension started falling off. This isn't my wife's first time getting this done. I am no expert on these kind of stuff, but i have seen my wife's lashes got done nicely and lasted its looks for more than 2 weeks. The owner was uptight for no reason. She started complaining about her floors getting messed up because my son (13mos old) was dragging her cheap ass furniture and when it clearly showed no scratches. If they are going to welcome us on the phone and tell us its ok to have kids in her place, she should follow through with her words. Not complain loudly about it while the mother of my child her customer was getting her eye lashes done. So yeah, im sure there are other places out there that can give better, high quality, and customer friendly service out there. This place is definitely NOT the one! Lash technician was great, but mangement is definitely in need of work & customer service training. There are apparently two locations, so be aware if this prior to driving to the address posted on yelp. Luckily I was early and was able to drive to their second location and not miss my appt. Secondly, They're texting a customer at 9:49 PM inquiring on form of payment, how much I was charged & how much tip was given as "there was no record of payment." Hmm shouldn't they inquire with their lash tech..pretty sure I wouldn't be able to walk outta that shop without paying for the services. Tried this place out because my moms coworker had recommended this place to get eye lash extensions. At first I was so excited because it was my first time getting them done. The girl who helped me was really nice and made sure I was taken care of. The day I got my extensions done, my eyes got a tad bit itchy and it got a little irritating. I've only gone to one other place, but I did a lot of research and was really trying to find a place that wasn't crazy expensive but still had good quality. I had seen Loraine's work on one of my friend's IG stories and loved it, so I decided to take a shot and book. My first visit at Belle Nouvelle, Loraine wasn't available, so I got another girl. I asked for dramatic, and they were definitely dramatic, but for my short lashes, I feel like they were a little too heavy and too long. So I waited for them all to fall off, and went again for a full set and asked for a natural look. My second visit was with Loraine and she was AMAZING! She worked SO FAST and I was out of there in an hour! The last few times it took me two hours and I get so stir crazy laying there with my eyes closed for that long. She's so quick and gentle and my lashes looked soooo good. They feel so comfortable AND it's been two weeks and my lashes are still in good condition and aren't balding yet! Eyelashes are so addictive and luckily at Belle Nouvelle Lashes, I don't have to break the bank. I have had my lashes done by a variety of people in the shop and they all do a great job. Not to mention the fact that they are usually able to accommodate my ever changing travel schedule. I personally choose the natural look. If I could give this place less than one star I would. I've been going to this place for almost a year and I loved it when I first started going. They have cheap prices and they always had appointments open. But in the last six months I have not been able to get an appointment easily, the lash artist runs late and do not apologize, and the receptionist is very unorganized. I had booked appointment for today June 12 two weeks ago, keep in mind I haven't been able to get an appointment there for three months!!! I was contacted yesterday asking to confirm my appointment which I did, and right after I got a text message saying because I haven't been there in so long I would need a full set and they don't have time to do that so they canceled my appointment with no offers for a rescheduling or nothing they could do for me. These lashes were for my birthday which is tomorrow June 13 and I have no back up plan. When telling them it's been a problem for me to get an appointment there and I had to go somewhere else so I just need to fill they told me they don't do fills on other peoples work which I can understand but nowhere on the website (which does not work anymore) or in their shop (which they don't have anymore because they're under construction for months). I told them they can't just cancel peoples appointments last minute and if this is a new rule they should make it known and very easy for clients to find out about which I got no response to. I got recommended to this place by a coworker whose daughter works at the shop. DO NOT come to this place yes they are cheap and do great work but the customer service and the shop owner is very unexperienced the service is horrible.
