If I can give this place zero stars, I definitely would. My mother took my daughter here to get her eyebrows threaded, and the experience was extremely upsetting. Not only did she already feel uncomfortable during the appointment, but things escalated when the staff accused her of recording the technician. They confronted her and made her open her phone to prove that she wasn't recording them. It was embarrassing and completely inappropriate. My daughter was already nervous, and being treated with suspicion instead of professionalism made the situation much worse. There was no apology afterward, just an awkward atmosphere that left her feeling disrespected. I understand businesses wanting to protect their staff, but the way this was handled was unprofessional and unacceptable. My daughter was laying with her eyes shut, once she opened them, 2 woman are in her face!!!! Might I add my daughter even tipped after experiencing that. I believe the tech name was NAJLA! We have been coming here for a year and we are so happy! Walk ins are easy! The place is super clean. They have a few workers but they are all friendly and fast! I would totally recommend this place to anyone. I take my 13 year old and she just gets a cleaned up no shaping and it siesta looks great! They ask if you want aloe at the end and she says it feels so good. It takes 10 minutes. So fast! I bought a package deal and it gives you an extra free service. Great deal! I'd buy it again! I came in as a walk-in for eyebrows service then found out that they do tinting. After waiting for 15mins and it's my turn I requested to add tinting to my service they made me wait another 10mins only to say because they now have three other customers I need to reschedule due to closing hours. Without hesitation the lady says oh I have an opening for a week out then I can take you. That made no damn sense for someone to schedule a week away for eyebrow arching when you take walk-ins daily. She treated me as if my money was no good in their establishment or was it because of the color of my skin... I've been coming there for years and now because of new staff people are being denied service. I will take my money elsewhere and will inform family and friends to stay away. read more

My favorite threading place! I came here without an appointment and only had to wait around 5 minutes. You can totally drop in without an appointment. The ladies that work here are so good at threading. I received a service from Lara today and I told her I wanted my eyebrows to look more even and clean. I'm usually picky about threading places because some places make my eyebrows way thinner than I would like. That wasn't the case here! My eyebrows came out super clean and fresh, and they were still thick. I had a coupon that expired a day before I came in and they still let me use it, which was so nice! I'm usually nervous about getting my brows done because they don't pay attention to my instructions well. The first time I came here, I got Najla and she did amazingly. The second time, I was not so fortunate, I got someone else when she wasn't here and they thinned out my brows. I was very unhappy. Been going here for years and I've never had a bad experience until now. I asked for my eyebrows to be cleaned and I came out with two completely different eyebrows. They looked fine while I was in the chair and the worker showed me the mirror, but from far away you can tell they're completely different. She did one eyebrow fine but completely messed up the other one and made it more arched than it was originally. Attached are photos from before and after I got my eyebrows done here. My daughters and I have been coming to this place for years, but in the last year ior so, the quality of their servixe has really gone down. The lady that was there this afternoon was very rude. She's the same lady that has been there the last few times my daughter and I have been there! We had an appointment to get our eyebrows done, but forgot to make an appointment to get our upper lips dine. Since there was no one there, I asked if she could do my daughters uoper lip. She reluctantly did it, but made may daughter feel bad telling that she is taking time away from her other customers. Which by the way, there was no one else in the shop. When it was my turn, I asked her if she could do my upper lip and she was so rude in her reply, telling me that I need to make an appointment for that survice, so I got out of the chair and told her I would juat pay for the services rhat were done. She insisted that I go back to the chai and she would do my upper lip. NO THANK YOU!! Your initial reaponse to my request said enough about you and your work ethic. I paid for my service and asked for a reciept, her reaponse, you need to tell me you want a reciept before I run it. Really?? That's the first time I've ever heard that! I don't even know how much she charged me. I was so livid I just walked out. I use to come here for convenience because it was the first threading salon in the Eastlake area and they did pretty good work. Let me tell you, I will not be coming here again. There are other threading salons in Chula Vista and I am sure the servixe is not has bad as this place! read more

I was charged $14.00 by Missy for eyebrow threading fo even though I did not get that service done at all today. I had an appointment at 1:25pm with Sara today but decided to go the shop at 10:30am to see if I could get the service done then. The door was locked and it had a sign that said "We will be back at 3:00pm". It made no sense for me to come back at 1:25pm since they weren't going to be open. This evening, I was emailed a receipt for $14.00. I tried calling before 6:30pm but no one answered. What a rip off. Give me a refund for your unauthorized charge. I usually don't do Yelp reviews, but I thought I should share my experience. I booked with Nalja and instantly regretted it. She left my eyebrows thinner and uneven. I asked her to fix the other eyebrow, she made it worse by trimming both of my eyebrows. I haven't gotten my eyebrows threaded in over a year, just to get them abnormally shaped & thinned. I made prior research on the website and yelp reviews, thinking this would be a good investment. Unfortunately, I was wrong and it was rather difficult to hide my distaste towards the service she provided. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. If you care about growing out your eyebrows and maintaining thick eyebrows, I highly suggest not booking with her! read more

No point in scheduling an appointment. When you get there they still take in order of walk in, so you'll wait until your turn. There's no receptionist so it's the threader asking who is next after finishing a client instead of checking the check in/appointment thing. 30 minutes past my appointment time. Brows look great though, just not sure what the point was in scheduling. read more

The salon is nice and clean, located on the second level, above Broken Yolk. So I had my brows done the day before at another place close by, and they did a horrible job. Came here for the first time to see if they can fix it... Once I got into the chair, my lady went right to work... She worked quickly, and was able to correct my brows. My brows looked much, MUCH cleaner and fuller. Also, when I told them that I had my brows done the day before, they reacted very concerned that it might have been one of their own that did such a bad job.... I told them that it was done somewhere else.. It was just my first time here, but I'm very pleased with the final result... And the threading process itself seemed to hurt much less than the day before. I didn't catch the name of the lady who helped me. They also offer various deals... $1 off total with Yelp check in... I've been going here ever since it opened! I thoroughly enjoy this place. I'm so glad it opened because not only is it close by, but they also shape eyebrows to perfection. I would always get my brows threaded at places 20... 30... Even 40 minutes away from me! So I'm glad they have a local threading place. I am completely anal about my eyebrows. I ask for them to be cleaned and to maintain my natural shape with an arch (not TOO much of one.) Sometimes, my eyebrows are grown out a little too much so there are certain areas that I point out for them to fix. Well, you get the gist of it. I'm in love with eyebrows. My own, especially!!! Sometimes I get them slightly thinner, and sometimes a tad thicker - either way, I'm always satisfied with the shape. They do a really good job! I highly recommend this place. read more
