I usually donate in the late afternoon and getting out at rush hour was never fun at the old location. Now you can jump on the Whitemud or take Gateway or Calgary Trail to make your way home, The inside is very open and airy. They have great all gender bathrooms. They are wheelchair accessible and have push button open and lock which helps with all abilities of people. The staff as usual are great. They have a huge snack counter for you pre and post-donation. I went into Pure clinics and after I received the body scan was immediately pressured into getting a package and going in to be assessed. I caved and ended up getting the 3 month assessment; which consists of a bunch of appointments that will be cancelled by the company. I had at least 3 sessions in my first month cancelled by them. They try to move you all over the place (west Clinic, East Clinic, south etc.) I had developed a pretty good bond and rather enjoyed going in to see my behaviour coach and then half way through I was emailed saying he was moved to another clinic and that he was replaced with someone else, a few weeks later I received another email that my dietician was also being moved so she was being replaced as well. I went into this clinic in hopes of having a better understanding of weight loss and tools to achieve it in a healthier way however they have not taught me anything I haven't already known or could have received for free from a doctors recommendation. I also have lost 5lbs from working out and eating healthy and Whole Foods on my own and haven't been back to Pure clinics since November 2017 (joined September 2017 & lost 0lbs even though they "guarantee 5lbs a month") But still have to pay them 175$ a month till September 2018. My own fault and my own stupidity for falling for this but if you really truly think your health is in need of professional advice and guidance... I still recommend not to go to this company.

Then my husband was asking me questions about his veterans & who he'd seen. She says in a very condescending tone "I can't hear you with your wife talking over you". I whispered to my husband "what a bitch! Forget her!". My husband said "I'm sorry but I don't think this is going to work out. But thank you for your time." I'd say an hour later 3 RCMP officers arrived at our house. Kelli Palfy had called them & said my husband was distraught & very emotional & she didn't know what he could do. I'm not kidding. I was going. thru our provider list looking for other psychologists. My husband was watching "Monk". Then his son called & said "the RCMP are here. They said someone called & said you'd lost it". Well if we didn't have PTSD before we have it now. The RCMP were wonderful. I swear she did it because she heard me say "What a bitch!" I think she's a self important, pompous, spiteful person who is in no position to provide counseling.

He asked me to answer some of her questions. She said "I can't hear you above your wife talking". I said to my husband "this isn't going to work". He said to Ms. Palfy "this isn't going to work for us. She said "ok" and he hung up. 1 hour later 4 RCMP showed up. They'd been told that a vet with PTSD was dangerous & possibly had a woman tied up. I'm not at all kidding about this. As the poor RCMP came into a situation they might have had their lives at stake. This stupid, stupid , stupid woman did this out of malicious intent.
