Showed up on a Saturday morning, I know first mistake. Had a slow leak in a front tire. Was told they were a little behind and would get to it soon. Waited about one hour and vehicle was completed. I tried out the place kittie corner from them. Monro auto. Do yourself a favor and switch to them. Very down to earth normal people at Monro talking to you like normal. Based on two recent service appointments for my wife's car here in the past month, I'd give it a solid 3. The score would be better if they hadn't forgotten to completely ensure the tire pressure on two new tires was correct and that the seal was tight. They lost pressure and both went flat two weeks later- because of a very slow leak. One day they looked fine, the next they were flat. They have good prices, a nice store, friendly and knowledgeable sales people, but the mistake with the loose seal or whatever it was on two tires (one sales person said the rims should be replaced but didn't deny the techs didn't tighten the tires up completely to prevent a leak- on two brand new tires from them). Having to tow a car back two weeks later for a mistake is ridiculous, even though my roadside car service did pay for it. They were apologetic and offered us a great price in the first place, they did get the job done quickly both times, but the mistake with the two new tires and the slow leak was not acceptable. I'd consider using them again, but this mistake definitely dropped their score from a potential 5 to a 3 star. Other than that, the store is clean, employees are friendly and the prices are good, the time to service a car was standard. read more

Super crooked, I am going to report them to the state. My AC was out and they told me they had to do a recharge and run Freon through it to find leaks. Took it to a local mechanic down the street and within 30 min he told me the blower motor was out, any competent and moral mechanic would know there was no need for a recharge. For a simple tire rotation, there is a two hour wait at the Miller Road store and the Grand Blanc Belle Tire Store wants you to drop the car off for the day. Got a good quote on four new tires here. It was better price than I thought I would get after looking online for them at other stores and even the Belle Tire website. The guy I talked to- sorry, but I forgot his name- was very helpful, knew how to gain a customer and keep a good customer who will be loyal to Belle Tire from now onward for all tire repairs. They offered me a good price and the work was professional and didn't take more than an hour, which seemed great. The last time I had to purchase new tires was a hassle and it took two and a half hours of sitting around the store twiddling my thumbs for price gauging. I got four tires for under $500. I paid in advance for 4 new all weather tires, and made an appointment. When I brought my car in, the associate tried to get me to purchase better tires. about 300 dollars better. I very politely declined due to my car being older, high mileage and planning on trading in soon. I left to go to lunch, and received a call that the lugs needed replacing, and a tie rod is loose. I told them go ahead with replacing the lugs and my son will replace the tie rod, but thanks for letting me know. Then I received another call as I was walking back to the shop that they were finishing up and noticed one sensor isn't working, and gave me a quote on replacing. I said thank you, but I will leave it because I won't have the car that much longer. I returned to the shop and paid for the lugs, and the man told me they would let me know when my car is done. almost an hour later, I approached and asked about my car. The man walked over to the wall and grabbed the bag and dumped the keys out on the counter and asked if I wanted the lugs. I told him no thanks, but where is my car? he said, "Out front or out back". I asked him how to get out back, and he told me to walk through the shop, which I did, which seems very strange to send a customer through the working area. my car was sitting out back in a lot that looks like an employee lot. so my question is, why did they do this to me? they obviously saw me sitting and walking around and waiting. why did they put my car out back where I had to walk through the shop to find it? mad because they couldn't up-sell? the guys in there didn't seem very happy to wait on customers in any case. read more

These guys are HONEST! I left a tire with them thinking I'd need a $70 valve stem. They managed to get a corroded metal cap off the stem for me and didn't stick it to me for the replacement. On 11/06/2020, with 3,484 miles on my car, I bought 2 new snow tires for the front of my vehicle along with lifetime repairs and labor coverage. In June 2021, I went back in to have my snow tires removed and my regular tires put back on. I was told that one of my snow tires (with less than 2,500 miles on them) had a puncture in the side wall. I drove INTO the shop with fully inflated tires. I was forced to get another snow tire and paid for an additional warranty on that new tire for $29.82 total, which included the warranty and sales tax on the entire tire price, even tho the price of the tire was not charged to me, just the warranty at $22.50. When I went back in the fall, November 8, 2021, (with only 2,000 additional miles added) to have the snow tires put back on my car, even tho I put 2 perfectly good tires, one brand new, in my garage in June, yet ANOTHER snow tire had a hole in the sidewall. The mechanic showed it to me by pushing a large screwdriver thru the hole, a hole that I believe HE made when he went to put it on my car. I was forced once again to get yet another new tire that luckily was covered under full warranty I had purchased, including labor and parts. This time I was charged for Mount & Balance @ $30 in addition to yet another warranty purchase at $24 for this new tire, plus sales tax for the price of the tire and warranty. I drove into the store with this alleged "punctured" tire in my trunk that was fully inflated and had NO injuries until it was in this shop THIS time in the Miller Road, Flint, MI shop. The total for the two invoices is $91.98 which I requested on the Better Business site to be refunded, but Belle Tire refused. I think the employees purposefully punctured my tires so I would have to spend more money at their shop. This company has taken me for a ride, and I will not be back to them ever again. read more

I have taken my truck to the miller road flint location probably 5-6 times now to get a alignment within a span of 3 months. The alligent has been off everytime, and now my front tires are bald due to the truck not being aligned properly. I brought this up at the store and the man behind the desk was very rude and basically said it's not his fault and there's nothing they can do about the tires. Took my small sedan to Tuffy on Wednesday for a front brake estimate. Tuffy Pierson rd honestly told me I needed pads and rotors for a total of $247. Took my car to Belle Tire on Miller Rd on Thursday. The tech came to me in the waiting room with a sad look saying I needed pads, rotors, and master cylinders and this would cost $560. I told him Tuffy was cheaper and went back to Tuffy. I did not need a Master Cylinder. Tuffy only charged me $247 to fix my front brakes. I do not trust Belle tire. They over charge so they don't have to honor their Lifetime break warranty. read more

Had an emergency with my battery failing and needed a new one immediately as I'm from Grand Rapids and was stranded. They took my car in immediately, I told them I had an appt and could only leave it there 1.5 hours. I also shared that my tires were bald, but didn't have time to get them replaced so not to worry about it. This location tried to sell me everything, I purchased four new tires, spent under 1k... drove my vehicle home only to discover that my tire sensor appears tampered with. The original salesman said 45 minutes, it took over two hours. We will never return to Miller Rd, instead try Center Rd. The car will be serviced somewhere else. A mechanic friend believes someone deliberately hit the sensor to damage it. This car has less than 50,000 actual miles, but now it needs a sensor, struts and this is after Al Serrra serviced and did a under carriage review saying all was well after rotating my tires. I would recommend the Grand Blanc store, but not the Flint location. I had both the tires and rims printed off from the Belle Tire website to make things simple, the salesman seemed very incompetent. I was very excited about the rims I ordered, then received a phone call he could not get the rims I already paid for, they don't fit my Explorer. I then picked out another set of rims I was not as happy with. I got a phone call they were in. When I dropped off my Explorer on a Monday they called me twice. Once to ask me if I had the part number for the rims I ordered and then a second call to tell me only 3 out of 4 rims came in. I had to pick up my vehicle unfinished. They apologized and said they would get me right in ahead of the line when I come back. I showed up at 9:45am on Saturday to tell me it will be a 2 hour wait before they can get me in, unacceptable!
