That mf Aaron does a great job!!! He doesn't listen worth a damn however he does a great job. Came in for a tire plug learned that my tire was worn on the inside. I told him I had several tires used & brand new at home & I just wanted a plug I'd get the tire & return. He finally got me to give up after I felt a micro piece of the belt coming through. *He did say my tire depth was 4/32 & it was really 5/32 & 6/32 when I asked him to show me. Asked him to just put my truck in the parking lot (I was fucking pissed by then) & I would go home get a tire & pay to have "my tire" put on the rim. (I didn't want to pay for two tires to be put on rims vs one. He offered me a ride but I didn't need it or want it. (I was mad) Then this mf went and put a BRAND NEW tire on my truck "because" he said he didn't feel safe letting me drive with my tire. THIS MF AARON. I took my mad ass home & retrieved a tire (because I have several that match. I took his back 15 minutes later. Now to take one tire off & put one on took his team damn near "two fucking hours" now "I think" this was because they couldn't believe I didn't want their "new tire" I wanted my tire. I went & bought Tim Hortons EVEN AFTER that long ass tire change because I appreciated Aaron even though his ass don't listen. I'm going to buy a set of the same tires & get a 4 wheel alignment soon at DISCOUNT TIRE just on the strength of Aaron. (& I don't buy here a lot due to prices but I do store my rims there.) I was there for a flat repair and they told me a hour and half but I was there for 2 hours and 15 mins with no update on what was taking so long and with me in the lobby 4 workers up front just and not helping in the back is not good team work or good customer service and it was getting closer and closer to closing time with no one going to the back room to help. That is unacceptable for a business to run like that. We had to take one of our personal vehicles to Discount Tire this last Saturday 1/24/26 (we have a fleet that we take to them) we had an appointment for 12:30 We're Happy with the service as far as with how people spoke with us and took care of our issue. The problem we have is that unfortunately one of their employees has sticky fingers and stole the 5 $15 off coupon's we had in there for Marlboro. They were however nice enough to leave the $3 coupons for us. Granted, They were just sitting in the middle in our truck but we never thought we had to hide them! I'm not one to usually leave reviews but I'm sorry that's $75! Discount Tire is supposed to be a reputable business. We shouldn't have to worry about our belongings getting stolen out of our vehicles. So the moral of this review is that if you have to use Discount Tire on Pierson Rd in Mount Morris just be mindful of what you have in your vehicle and what you wouldn't mind being taken. Best of luck to you and hopefully the thief will be gone by the time you need their services. Unfortunately for us we had $75 stolen. I get times are hard but times are hard for all of us! I just got new tires and I didn't purchase the $50 a tire service guarantee. My car got a nail in it within 3 days of the change... I took it in and expected them to say... see... you should have bought the service plan, but they didnt, they just kindly fixed my tire. When I asked how much for the repair, they said no cost. WORST I HAVE SEEN. I called and got a price on tires Wednesday afternoon i told the man i would be there at 8 am to get them installed. I also told him i had to be in grand blanc Michigan at 9am (this is about a 20 min drive from the tire shop) He said no problem get here about 10 min early and we will get you right in we have the tires here. I get there 15 min early. No one showed up ti;; 8am then they took care of everything they had to do to open. by this time 4 other customers showed up. The man that took care of me came out and said we would have to start over as he had no idea what i needed and there is no way to have it done by 9. My husband and I are both in our sixties. We just stopped in to the Discount Tire on Pierson Rd. with a nail sticking out of our tire and we were told we had to make an appointment and come back another day. Crazy !!! So it's fine with them if you drive around on a tire that could cause an accident or at the very least leave us broke down on the side of the road. We have always purchased our tires from them for all our vehicles but not anymore. We went across the street to Belle Tire, they fixed it in 20 minutes and didn't charge us anything. I've done business with this location for several years and I've always had excellent customer service. Today I arrived at 1:00 to get a tire replaced that I had already ordered. They said there were 3-4 people ahead of us but we should be on the road by 4pm, 3 hours seemed excessive for 3-4 people, but ok. We left to get some food and was back by 2:30. We noticed people taken in that were not here when we arrived. At 3:00 we went in to check and they said there were still 3-4 people ahead of us. It's currently 3:45 and we still haven't been taken in. Also, I believe the tire they were replacing still had warranty miles left on it, but I got no proration. Time to find a different tire store. DO NOT VISIT. I called ahead of time twice, no one asked me specifics about my car. I was simply told they could get me in no problem. I wasted my gas and time to sit for hours to have them take 1 tire off that needed checked for a leak. My car wasn't up to their standards as I have spacers for my wheels. He proceeded to tell me he can't put the spacer back on, which it needs for the wheel to turn. I was told he would make an exception since it needed the spacer to drive properly. Mind you this spacer IS a proper fitment for my vehicle/wheels. Their lack of knowledge was appalling. The tires already off at this point so he says he will check for the leak, my soul purpose of visiting. I was handed my keys back and NOTHING WAS CHECKED. The guy lied to my face and didn't care to tell me otherwise that the leak wouldn't be checked all because of a spacer that has nothing to do with the tire. I walked in there after trying to deal with another local tire place, and I told Jake, the guy behind the counter I had a "tone" so to please bear with me. I'm not made of money and my tires get replaced as they are needed. After the other place told me I couldn't get a tire unless I got all 4, I had a "tone". Jake calmed me down, and I had my new tire. Word of advice though: unless it's an emergency, I would make an appointment. I had to wait a while, which I was fine with since I REALLY needed a tire, but if you are going there to have them rotated or something, make an appointment. Absolutely great service! They were able to find the exact wheels I wanted even though they were recently discontinued. They had everything ready before I arrived for my appointment and had me in and out of there in less than 20 minutes with new tires and wheels to make sure I had plenty of time to get to work on time! They were also very friendly and bagged up and loaded my old tires in my vehicle for me so I could keep them as spares. read more

I love these people so much! I went to Belle Tire yesterday because my back 2 tires were leaking air crazy-fast. A clerk took a look at my tires and said all 4 needed to be replaced and quoted me $855. But they couldn't replace them until Thirsday (3 days later) so I made an appointment. Today is Tuesday so I decided to go to Discount Tire on Pierson Rd. for an alternate quote. We discussed different tires WHICH WERE MUCH CHEAPER THAN BELLE. They had me wait in my car until they could look at the tires (I didn't have an appointment). They worked on the rear tires and I assumed changed them. The young fellow came to my window and gave me a bill for $0,00. ZERO DOLLARS! I asked if they changed the tires and he said 'we didn't need to, sometimes there is corrosion on the rims that causes leakage. So we fixed that.' Flabbergasted, I tipped him about $18-$19 because it was what I had in my wallet. He saved me $835! How they stay in business I have no idea but they will get 100% of my business going forward! read more

Avoid Discount Tire, especially this location. I have purchased tires from them for years, and always pay for the extra tire protection. Every time we have an issue that should be covered by the warranty, they come up with a reason the tire is bad so they do not have to replace the tire. Staff are rude when it come to warranty service, but nice as can be when trying to sell you on a tire. I will take my business to Belle Tire for now on! Oh and from an assistant manager, dry rot in between the tread is normal, so they will not take care of these issues. But if you take your car in there before you get tires they will let you know the dry rot is going to cause a blow out and a huge safety issue.
