There is plenty of parking and enough room for your party to roam. There is some climbing involved to get from the main building to the rest of the "party area", but the facility did provide a golf cart for the party to use, to combat this hill. There was more than ample space for the DJ table and dancing tent, as well as tables with generous amounts of space around them. There is plenty of room for kids to roam, and there is even a pig farm within walking distance with some of the largest pigs I have ever seen. The music continued on into the night with no complaints about the noise, and there is a hotel extremely close to the venue. The food was average to good. Buffet style, and plenty of it. Keeping to the facility itself, I only had one major complaint, the bartender. One of the bartenders was rude and short with everyone there, guests and family of the party alike. This was especially surprising, considering the party supplied all the booze themselves, and they were being tipped graciously for puring the same 4 drinks all night. The servers were very kind. All in all it was a magical event, and the food and most of the service was pretty good. The area itself is what makes this a 3 star rating and not a 2, it is really picturesque.

Instead, I found a surprisingly thoughtful and well-curated collection that easily rivals many regional museums. The museum itself is beautifully designed, bright, modern, and inviting without feeling overwhelming. The galleries flow naturally, making it easy to wander from room to room and spend more time than you originally planned. What struck me most was the range of the collection. From American paintings to contemporary works, the pieces are presented with care and clear interpretation, making the experience enjoyable whether you're a serious art lover or just a curious visitor with an hour to spare. For a museum located on a university campus, the quality of the collection is impressive. Several pieces made me stop longer than expected, and the curation feels intentional rather than simply academic. It's the kind of place where you go in thinking you'll do a quick walk-through and end up lingering. If you happen to be in the area, even for work, it's absolutely worth a visit. The Palmer Museum of Art is a reminder that sometimes the most rewarding cultural experiences are the ones you discover by accident. Palmer is free although you do have to pay for parking which was still inexpensive. The Palmer has a wide variety of art. It's comprehensive without feeling overwhelming. The docents are also very knowledgeable and told us about the history of the museum. (Thank you, Dottie!) The building is only a few years old, and the architecture takes advantage of the adjacent arboretum which is also free and worth a stroll. Leave yourself 60-90 minutes to enjoy all the exhibits.

The show was great, but that's besides the point. All the staff at the theatre was very polite and more than willing to assist me, along with the rest of my group, to our seats. I felt the restrooms could have been more centrally located. Walking down all the steps to the basement level to get to the restroom was a bit of a nuisance. My other complaint was how the seats are set up inside the theatre. There are no center aisles. So, if you have a seat in the center, you have to walk in front of a whole bunch of chairs... Or you have to say "excuse me" 10,000 times as you walk in front of people. Overall, I'd return to the Eisenhower, but I'll probably try to get a seat near the end of the row.

I've also seen the Alton Brown presentation (and met him!) and David Coperfield. During each of these events I sat on the lower level somewhere between the front and the middle. The sound at the venue could be better as it gives the illusion that the performer is father away from you than where they are standing. It sounds kind of weird, but that's what it felt like to me. Overall, it's an average venue that is close to us, so I really can't complain.

With some tlc, decorations and string lighting this place could be a rustic venue dream come true. There are two stages one outdoor and one indoor. My phone died from the cold before I could take pictures of the inside but the indoor stage was everything one would expect and had roughly 100 seats wrapped around three sides of it. (Potentially a great space for a wedding party to view pictures or if the couple is into acting...a skit or something of that nature) There are gardens and arbors galore. There is also a spaces of land for parking and/or room for setting up tables for an events. I was happily surprised to find many trails behind the the theatre and even though I'd been carrying two children for over four hours(it's good form of cardio) in Pennsylvania's blistering cold I was able to take them both for a nice fall scenic walk while we waited for the auction to close. For anyone who's been to Canonsburg's Little Lake theatre I would say this place is very much like that theatre minus the lake location. Overall, from a potential venue aspect I feel like this place could be a place of lots of celebrations. As for the theatre productions themselves I have no experience but their website boasts lots of information and bios of the cast. Location is close to Penn State, Penn's Cave and other fun places. Certainly a location to consider and if you're into theatre this might be the place for you.

Beaver Stadium was an interesting and surprising experience. Especially as a Michigan State Alum…read moreand Spartan. The stadium is old and run down. However, for an outdoor game, it was an incredible, unforgettable experience. Despite the cold, it was an amazing day. And even better that Michigan State won in overtime. It was definitely a see of blue of all, with lots of chaos and confusion from Penn state fans about where they were sitting and how to even find their seats. But, everyone was respectful. The stadium did not have much service but thankfully the bathrooms were heated. Parking was hard and easier to park further away and walk. The outdoor hockey game was definitely a unique experience and I'm so grateful I was able to attend. I would definitely be interested to attend a football game here, but of course, only if MSU was playing. Go green!

Attended 2025 white-out game v Oregon. The white-out was definitely a bucket list experience…read more Pre-game traffic flow wasn't bad. Penn State fans were extremely nice! We felt welcomed and many of them thanked us for coming. One of the tailgaters even gave us shots and beer while walking towards the stadium. Stadium was under construction during the game. Made it harder to maneuver to some seating areas. Regardless of the construction, there aren't a lot of signs to help navigate the area. Entrance ticket didn't even have what gate to enter purchased seats purchased seats in section NA. There was a massive ramp to walk up to some of the seating sections. One escalator was available on the home side of the stadium. Some of the top level was setup on rafters. Port-potties were in place for that level also. I expected more screens around the concourse for it to be such a large stadium. Visitor side was packed with Penn State fans also. Stadium benches are tight and hard to enter and exit when rows are full. Might as well leave your phone in the car. . .service was very spotty. Parking: We stopped and purchased a parking pass at a gas station off the highway. I wouldn't recommend parking anywhere near the stadium. Parked in lot 44. Event staff helped waved you in. Our section was near a hill where people were getting stuck trying to park. Plenty of port-o-potties around and bags for trash. Once again there were no signs to help navigate in the lot. We ended up walking around the stadium because exit signs to specific areas were non-existent. There were no event staff in the lot assisting with exiting after the game. Took us over 2 hours to get out of the lot and to the street. Use the shuttles.
