On my first visit (for a cleaning), I was told I needed to return for a filling. I was given an appointment date and time. I returned and they said I didn't have an appointment and I didn't need a filling. Then they stared at me until I walked out of the office. I emailed and they said that, yes, I did need a filling, please come back in a couple of weeks. When I go back, the dentist and assitant are in the middle of a conversation and stop for a few seconds to ask "Got any plans for the weekend?" But they walk out while I'm answering their question. That was the last time dentist spoke to me until he walked out of the room for good. Everything about this place has been inconvenient and weird.

I do believe it is illegal to record/listen/spy on individuals without their knowledge in an office. I was sent a certified letter, which had some else's name on it, so the post office would not allow me to pick it up. When the office manager emailed me a copy of the letter. The letter said circumstances has brought them to release me as a patient. When I spoke to the office manager she claimed I made a comment that was derogatory, but would not tell me what the comment was and it was not listed in the letter. Unfortunately, I had recently had a root-canal done and the crown that was put in is still causing me problems, however, I do not feel comfortable going back to Greenwood Dental Associates. Especially since the office manager would not explain what I said or did wrong. I liked DR. LePera and I don't believe she was aware of what the office manager had done, because she wanted me to schedule another appointment. In conclusion, make sure you do not talk to anyone at Greenwood Dental Associates and if they leave you in a room by yourself keep your mouth shut.

A bit steep, but I was setting up dental insurance in the meantime. I was told by a receptionist here that with Aflac insurance, everything is paid up-front and I'll file a claim with my insurance. I was unaware of this due to a misunderstanding with my insurance agent, but I figured after my appointment, it would still be that $300 that I was quoted. When I was told the total after my appointment, I said that I could NOT afford over $500 for a cleaning and X-ray. The younger receptionist at the desk chimed in, and condescendingly said, "We already told you you'd have to pay up-front before your appointment". WELL, yes, I was completely aware but I sure wasn't aware that it cost me over $500. She said the extra money after the quote I received were "Office fee's"... F***ing comical, like this place can't afford their administrative costs, as is. Take that extra $219 of mine, and refill your printers ink. We spent at least $20k there and ended up with nothing but trauma, pain and debt. We've since found a new dentist who's done beautiful work with the implants and we're thankful for that.
