The practice presented both of us with treatment plans recommending thousands of dollars in dental work. We found this suspicious given that we had seen our previous dentist only six months prior with no major issues flagged. ​Once we received their recommended treatment plans in writing, we sought a second opinion from another dentist. As it turns out, none of the proposed work was actually necessary. We understand that clinical philosophies can vary from dentist to dentist, but the aggressive hard sell and excessive treatment recommendations made us extremely uncomfortable. Would not recommend.

Dr. Killingsworth and each hygienist whom I've seen in the 10 or so years I've been a patient at Killingsworth Family Dentistry meets my rather exacting standards. I'm greeted warmly by name as soon as I walk through the door, and I never have time to open my Kindle to read before I'm welcomed by the hygienist and invited back to a pleasant and comfortable room for my cleaning and exam. The cleanings are always thorough and are done with care for my comfort. I'm given compliments on my oral hygiene and tips for how to continue to care for my teeth and gums as I get older. Dr. Killingsworth always comes in with a cheerful greeting to give my mouth a thorough exam, and she takes time to ask about what's going on in my life and with my family. Each visit ends with a pleasant encounter with Patti, the office administrator, to set an appointment for my next visit and to subtly handle any fees that my dental insurance doesn't cover. I had a dental emergency a few years ago, when I lost a crown, which resulted in an exposed nerve, which was very uncomfortable. It happened to occur on a national holiday, but Dr. Killingsworth didn't hesitate to open her office and to take care of my emergency and ensure my comfort with a temporary crown and a measurement with state-of-the-art equipment to order a permanent crown that fit perfectly on the first try, with no adjustment needed. I was so impressed and so grateful with how Dr. Killingsworth put my need and comfort ahead of whatever she'd had planned with her family on that holiday. My dad, a children's dentist, was frequently called out, at all hours of the day and night, when a child had a dental injury or other emergency that needed immediate care. In the days before cell phones or even beepers, I remember him leaving his call service phone number with people at movie theaters or at restaurants, just in case someone needed to get in touch with him. He always put a child's need for his care above his own convenience; Dr. Killingsworth provided the same care for my well-being, and I'm still so grateful. I couldn't recommend Dr.Killingsworth and her team any more highly. I actually look forward to my appointments every six months.

To reiterate, I came here during COVID for a painful tooth, but the dentist focused on a different tooth, claiming I urgently needed a replacement crown for one that was only two years old. I felt pressured into the procedure, and the crown was poorly done in both fit and color. Another dentist has since told me it needs to be replaced, which says it all. I'm extremely frustrated by this entire experience, from being coerced into unnecessary work to the poor quality of care, and now being blindsided by a collections bill years later. I was quoted a price and told the rest was covered by insurance. I certainly don't recommend this underhanded clinic.

I would like to mention that he takes extremely good care of his mouth - flosses, never misses a cleaning, etc. He didn't think the procedure would be fully covered by his insurance - they only cover half a mouth at a time for that kind of cleaning, which is what he told them. Well the hygienist went and talked to their billing person, who insisted that his insurance would cover his whole mouth. They said they had called his insurance, were absolutely sure and again, convinced him to do it. They even gave him a written estimate of around $100 of out of pocket expenses. So, now they are presenting him with a huge bill that insurance won't cover and they are unwilling to help him at all. He's on disability with limited income so this is extremely bad and I feel terrible for having recommended them. It was literally a cleaning, with no special crowns or anything fancy like that and he is being asked to pay in the neighborhood of over $1000. I will likely have to find another dentist because of the way they've treated him. So, if you're not concerned about maybe receiving a huge surprise bill after your visit, with absolutely no accountability or help from the people who gave you the bad information, go ahead and go there. It's shocking, because they should and can come down on the bill since this totally their fault, but they really don't care.

The last time we went, they told my daughter she had four cavities and I wasn't feeling confident about that so I went to get a second opinion. I was turned onto this place with high recommendations. The person who I originally went to see has left the practice, the new person is Dr. Christina Lynn, DMD. I feel that she is a very honest Dentist. Today was my first visit with her. I went in for my six month cleaning with Eric who is the dental hygienist and then Dr. Lynn came in to give me my exam. She was awesome, everyone there from Ashley who answers the phone, to Eric who cleaned my teeth, to Dr. Lynn who did my exams, everything was wonderful. Hi head set up appointments with my entire family on different days to get their teeth cleaned and other dental things done that was going on. I feel confident that Dr. Lin knows what she is doing. I WOULD recommend this place.

Dr Wilkin is the kindest, most patient man. Every person in the office, from front desk to hygienist to dental assistant is top notch in professionalism, patience (they need it with this chicken) and KINDNESS. They also made the billing process make sense to me. This is another area of weakness for me...none of it is usually very clear to my mind. This was simple for me to understand. I would recommend this office to anyone, especially if you don't like going to the dentist. On to my experience...I have gum disease and am on the 4 month cleaning and had two crown preps on Thursday. Can I tell you I never felt a THING? And of course I have a lot of dental problems so I have to go often. Just thinking of Finding a dentist when I moved to HR 4 years ago gave me anxiety. So finding one that caters to the scared patient and even offers nitrous for a cleaning made me happy. Dr Lunn and his whole staff make me feel comfortable every time I go. If I'm having any kind of procedure they offer nitrous, explain the procedure and put my irrational fears aside. They are very gentle, check on me, and offer breaks when I need one. I trust them and that helps with my anxiety. Barbara is often my hygienist and is super personal and very gentle. Brittney has been there for all of my procedures, is very knowledgeable and always helps to put me at ease. Chanda is so nice to talk to and always accommodates my schedule. Not only do I love their "chair side" manner, but they are so accommodating. Whether my dog ate my mouth guard, my crown fell out or I have some other random dental emergency, they always fit me in.
