The dynamic gave the performers the ability to showcase their talents (dance, singing and instrumental) without losing the meaning the stories were telling. The plays were adult, contemporary, and emotionally moving. After the skits was a brief performer and director introduction plus a question and answer period. My only question is "why was this in the basement theater"... the small audience was nice to be part of, but a larger audience would be nice also. If you want something adult but college youthful to experience this is an excellent event to enjoy.

Everyone at the Luke and Beaufort, SC Campus is beyond reproach all care about their students. They communicate well and look after their students from day one, all the way to even after graduation. Webster University Main Campus however, and those that don't own up to their accounting mistakes and allow their "Alumni" to damage their credit call for this poor rating. My specific case of accepting poor guidance and lethargic action when the University's accounting department (along with the Department of Veterans' Affairs) made a mistake and caused me to incur negative credit charges as well as an extra $400 service fee, all because the four staffers at the Main Campus in St Louis took 4 months to figure out they were over paid. They admitted they made the mistake, to prove their point, they overnighted me a check for the difference to "make me whole"... They had no interest in paying the late fees incurred by their delayed response. All it would have taken to keep me from writing this review and more to come, would have been to simply apologize and reimburse me the $400 in fees... but your university couldn't bear to even respond to that request, much less write the check. Webster University will get bad press from me at every campus I come across the rest of my military career. It's not the 80pt Credit Score hit, or $400, but mostly the principles of being a school students should trust.

My family along with a couple dozen friends and their kids spent a snowy Sunday afternoon bowling for a couple hours. What a great day we all had at a 12 yr olds birthday party that Cougar Lanes hosted. Pool tables, and gaming room with a very family friendly vibe.

Pontiac Jr High School is located in Fairview Heights, IL. It's an extension to William Holiday…read moremiddle school (K-5th grade). Pontiac teaches grades 6th-8th. Most children that attend can walk, ride their bikes, are picked up by a school bus or parents drop off. The environment gets the students ready for High School allowing them to have lockers, switch classes and start having responsibilities they didn't have in grade school. The teachers that I have encountered shows care and concern for their students. Sincerely, wanting to see them all succeed and prepare them for their next grade. They also have sports like any other school. Students are not able to participate if they do not maintain a certain grade average and attendance. If your child is absent, don't worry, you will get a call to find out why. You also have access to call or email your child teachers for any concerns. My son has moved on to High School but he visits on a regular to support the Volleyball team. At the end of the day... I don't have any children to attend Pontiac but I would recommend it for others.

The Goddard School is in its own class of amazingness. You definitely get above what you pay for…read more(while the prices are higher than your average daycare, it is well worth it). Do not let the price make your final answer. Perks of Goddard: - Every teacher has a college degree - Your child will be in or around six months of his age, like my daughter is in a 3 - 3 1/2 room and she is almost 3 1/2. This is a huge factor to consider, not only will your child be learning everything they should at this milestone, they will be with there peers in the same age group all day long, you don't get this at any other childcare facility much less public school system setting. This is where your child will grow and thrive because they aren't stuck in a group of kids that range from a few months old to 5. - Structure - i can't say enough about how structure makes a huge attitude adjustment and just a good flow for your kiddo. Having a daily schedule and it being the same is a great routine for anyone even if your 30 or 80! - Nutrition - they have a monthly planner you can get and it will let you know exactly what your kid is eating daily. - Activities - there is a weekly themed activity. I remember one in particular such as learning about fire and what not, and they actually had a firetruck come out for a day for the kiddos to see. - Therapies - If your child has any sort of therapies that need addressed, you can have your own therapist come in at anytime and provide therapy for your child, they usually have a space that they can go to to provide care. These are just what I can think of at the moment! This place is beyond amazing...if you even just tour it you will not want to go anywhere else. If its even within or more than $100 of your budgeted amount...you should cut off a luxury item and give your kid some top notch care. Kuddos to Goddard...I hope I can keep my job long enough to keep my toddler in here until she graduates and goes to kindegarten.

Aowyn has been going to Goddard on and off now for the last 3 years and she always seems to develope awesome new skills and such while attending there. There are so many good things I have to say about this school, and oh yes I will go on, But if i miss anything I am truley sorry! lets start with the falcutly, they ROCK!, every morning they are always happy to see us and aowyn is just as excited to see them. I swear during interviews, morning person, must be a requirment! Always friendly and always there to help in anyway possible!! The school is very clean and rooms are always in order. somehow even rooms occupied with kids and the kids playing there isn't a mess to be found! I need to figure out how they do it! the playground and area to play outside seems just like the perfect amount of space and equipment! nothing cluttered, and there is ample amount of room to get the kids stretch out there legs. The price is very affordable, It can seem on the high end, but these are people who actually TEACH your child things, not just have them in their home for the day. I can't put a price on how my little girl is becoming so smart and the hours are awesome, and always open! :)

The worst experience I've ever had at a beauty school…read more I had a full highlight (2-color) appointment scheduled from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, but I didn't leave until after 4:00 PM--and they still didn't finish the service properly. What followed was a series of issues that clearly reflect poor management, lack of student support, and an overall disappointing experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. First, they assigned a brand new student to my appointment--despite this being a complex color service--and offered little to no guidance throughout. There was no oversight, no mentoring, and no intervention until things were already going downhill. To make matters worse, the only "help" being offered was from what appeared to be the youngest member of the school's family, who looked to be about 18-20 years old. She didn't seem confident, wasn't grounded in training herself, and ignored my specific request for a two-tone highlight. Instead, she simply told the student to "just use bleach." By around 1:00 PM, an older instructor saw how behind my student was and verbally suggested another student help--but never followed through. Instead of giving any actual support, she disappeared into the back room, and no teamwork or leadership followed. Because of this lack of structure and support, it took until nearly closing time just to finish foiling my hair--no color, no toner, no wash, nothing had happened yet. At that point, they tried to tell the student to just "use purple shampoo" to fix the orange/yellow tones--which is just not how that works. When I pushed back, an older instructor reluctantly stepped in to assist with toner selection. But she clearly wanted to go home--it was already after hours--and the toner was left on for less than 5 minutes, doing virtually nothing. Once they dried part of my hair so I could see the results, it only got worse. I immediately noticed uneven, patchy color and a large orange-blonde blotch near the back of my head that they tried to brush over and conceal. It was clear at this point that the foil placement was off and the execution failed. Even after all this, the young family member/instructor couldn't offer any answers. She charged me more than the original quote, blamed it on the toner not being added in the ticket, and had no explanation about how they planned to fix the issue. I was rescheduled for two weekends later but received no clarity on what they'd do or whether I'd be charged again. To fix it, I had to go to Sally's and spend another $45 on toner, developer, and purple shampoo just to correct what I could on my own. What's even more disturbing is the culture I witnessed. That same younger instructor had her own clients that day and openly talked negatively about a previous client's hair in front of another one. Completely unprofessional. I've gone to 5-7 beauty schools over the years for color services and never experienced anything like this. I genuinely feel bad for students trying to get a quality education here. There's a complete lack of accountability, structure, or mentorship--and it clearly reflects in the results. I do not recommend this place--for services or education

I started cosmology school in August of 2022 at a different school in Fairview, this school just…read morewasn't the right fit for me and three months in I was terrified and ready to give up on my dream of doing hair. Luckily in October I was sent to New Image to tour and talk to Denise about transferring. Denise was so reassuring and comforting about this school being much more professional and helpful durning the 1500 hours of training that is required. Without a doubt I would've been at a complete loss if it wasn't for Denise, Ms.Shirley and Krystal. I never thought I'd be able to cut a decent hair cut, do a solid highlight, updo or color until I was trained by these ladies. Even when they're busy taking care of students in different programs the girls I've been surrounded by for the past 8 months were always prepared to help me problem solve. Cosmetology school is expensive, but I can say from experience that their tuition cost is the best around and with it being such small classes you get a ton of one on one help with studying and practicing/ doing hair. I will forever remember and be grateful of my time here. Cosmology school is also draining BUT it gets better and easier as you move through to anybody out there looking for a place to go CALL New Image and book a tour with us, they start new students every first Tuesday of the month and offer cosmology, esthetics, and Nail tech Programs.
