Most children that attend can walk, ride their bikes, are picked up by a school bus or parents drop off. The environment gets the students ready for High School allowing them to have lockers, switch classes and start having responsibilities they didn't have in grade school. The teachers that I have encountered shows care and concern for their students. Sincerely, wanting to see them all succeed and prepare them for their next grade. They also have sports like any other school. Students are not able to participate if they do not maintain a certain grade average and attendance. If your child is absent, don't worry, you will get a call to find out why. You also have access to call or email your child teachers for any concerns. My son has moved on to High School but he visits on a regular to support the Volleyball team. At the end of the day... I don't have any children to attend Pontiac but I would recommend it for others.
