Located just north of US 36 on the east side of Danville, a fairly new gas station and convenience…read morestore was built. Though near the highway, the only access is from the county road that crosses at an intersection with a stop light. And though it might be nice to pull out of the station directly to the highway to head into Danville, I can understand that having all customers (including semis) pulling onto the less busy county road was a safety decision. As I pulled in, the cars/non-diesel vehicles turned to the south while the larger trucks had a separate bay area for diesel. The convenience store was located directly west of the car bays. The equipment at the pumps was all pretty new and made paying at the pump with a credit card fast and easy. The pumps worked to fill my tank quickly too. Note that the bay for the pumps are single depth, so there is no pulling in behind another vehicle to fuel. I liked that too since it seems safer as well. However, the overhead/roof for the bays are quite high and because they aren't especially wide (front to back), a blowing wind made it difficult to stay dry when it started raining. I like to stand by the pumps while fueling (as suggested), but the rain made it not as pleasant. I'm sure on sunny days, there is no problem. I didn't go into the convenience store for a purchase, so I can't comment on how wide the offerings are or how quick the clerk service is, but everything was neat outside and appeared to be the same inside. If you are in the area, I would suggest filling your tank here for a safe and convenient stop. Review #3349

As a girl, car servicing is usually a NIGHTMARE. Every other auto repair shop I've visited has…read moretried to sell me a multitude of things that I would later find out didn't actually need replacing. I had such a pleasant experience here. The receptionist was so courteous and accurately relayed everything I told her was going on with my vehicle to the mechanics and went above and beyond to make sure I would leave with a fully functional vehicle. I had taken my car to 2 other shops (Eagle auto & Tom O'Brien) who both told me I needed 2 lists of totally different repairs. IAM went through the list and explained to me why I did or didn't need each item and the receptionist even shared photos from the mechanic of items like the air filter to prove it actually needed replacing. This is the most transparent and honest service shop I have ever been to. I have had zero issues with my vehicle since servicing here.

Buyer Beware: A Cautionary Tale about Indy Auto Man-Indianapolis…read more On March 16 2026 I purchased a 2020 Toyota Prius from Indy Auto Man Indianapolis via an internet-only sale executed by DocuSign. Multiple times the dealer represented the vehicle as having passed a thorough inspection, being mechanically sound, and having a "clean Carfax." Since taking delivery of the vehicle a week after the sale was completed online, multiple competent mechanics and technicians confirmed severe corrosion and structural failure in the rear suspension, as well as dangerous tire wear noted by the inspectors that risked the rear tires blowing out due to the undisclosed structural damage. I have paid approximately $8,000 so far for repairs to damage that should have, in my opinion, been either repaired or disclosed honestly prior to the sale. All mechanics who have inspected the damage and corrosion have stated unequivocally that there is absolutely no way this level of damage and corrosion could have been missed by even a cursory visual and mechanical inspection by a competent inspector or mechanic. Via certified mail I have demanded sale rescission, all pre‑sale inspection records for this vehicle, and reimbursement for repairs required to correct the significant unrepaired and undisclosed damage that existed prior to sale; the dealer has so far not produced the requested inspection records, has refused my requests for remedy through sale rescission, and has refused to reimburse all costs I've had to pay out of pocket to correct the damage and corrosion that existed prior to purchase. I have filed an Indiana Attorney General complaint, AG Case #11837454, as well as complaints with the Better Business Bureau of Indiana, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I have and can provide photos, repair invoices, DocuSigned sales records, and certified mail receipts for all complaints, remedy requests, and pre-sale inspection document requests. If you are in the Indianapolis area and are considering buying a car from this dealer, please undertake the expense of having any car you're considering buying inspected by a reputable and skilled 3rd-party mechanic or technician. Do not assume that the vehicle has actually been inspected, or that is it safe and roadworthy based solely on the statements of the dealership staff. If you are considering purchasing a car from out of state, I would caution against doing so based upon my documented personal experiences. I welcome a response from the dealer and will update this review if they remedy the situation.
