Saturday October 12, I got a flat tire 45 miles away in Martinsville Illinois. The breakdown service my carrier uses called them, and they said "we'll be there in two hours," so Fleetnet chose them. They requested extension after extension, and in the end, it was SEVEN AND A QUARTER HOURS before the mechanic showed up. If they'd been honest, perhaps another service would have gotten the bid, and it wouldn't have taken eight goddamn hours to get a replacement tire fitted. I love the Iron Skillet, but the shop can go perform anatomical impracticalities upon themselves. read more

If this were a rest stop for judges, then it'd be Gavel Centers of America. And that'd suck. While I did manage to sleep here overnight perfectly safely, and I do appreciate that, I was also hit up for money on several occasions by poor white males - and one of them was quite threatening. I gave a little something to be nicer one but did not appreciate it. The mean guy got nothing. On the inside the store was not as big as usual and not as clean but the girl was pretty friendly. read more

I am an OTR trucker. We were under a time sensitive load that required all rivets present in our chute. We were missing a few :( I called the TA in Clayton Indiana and talked with Michelle. I explained our situation and she said there was no wait and to come over. We were 24 miles away. They held a door for us! Thank you Michelle and mechanics for taking great care of us in our time of need. read more

What a pathetic mid trip inspection . Guy initially wanted me to drop my trailer first. Really? Why would I only mid trip inspect the tractor? Then he just does a quick walk around. read more

Worst in a long time. Waited 40 min for skinned over gravy. A waitress that didn't want to work. Except to get huffy when we finally got things ourselves. Keep on driving down the interstate to the next stop. Is has to be better read more

Love's also has the long stick squeegees in the pump area which makes it easy to clean the bugs off even the hardest to reach spots on my Sprinter!
