The pumps are modern/digital and the only thing I noticed was that this style required to hold my debit card longer than a quick swipe. Other than that, the process was quick and I soon had a quick tank. I didn't need to go inside for anything, but I did notice ice, rock salt, and an air pump that took credit cards available.
