They have favoritism towards club kids and keep them on court 1/2. They do not help the less skilled kids and just let them do drills when they are not even trying to the best of their ability , they have new coaches on courts every practice , and if u ask for help they will expect you to get it in one try with no mistakes.

That is why he stays there. My son has improved a lot. The tennis club is next to golf club so that their parking park area seems very relaxing. You can walk down to the creeks. I wish I could move to the area.

I appreciate that the play structure is designed tall enough for parents to navigate as needed too, even on upper levels. There was also plenty of space for parents to hang out and watch. The party room was totally serviceable (we booked a 12-kid package with 7 kids and 12 adults, which meant some of the adults were standing (12 chairs), but it worked fine and it didn't feel crowded). I am glad we booked a larger party size than needed so some adults could sit! You are allowed in 30 minutes before your start time to decorate - and they leave blue painter's tape for you. I pre-staged one wall mural, two tablecloths, a banner, and some hanging decorations in a tub and that transformed the plain space quickly and perfectly for a kid's party. Food was better than I expected for a play zone cafeteria - pizza was included in the package, and we added a half-tray of chicken tenders (very popular), which came with fries, and a half-tray of fruit (which the kids loved and was fresh). Lemonade was tasty too. Had a whole pizza left over! The only outside food you can bring is a "celebratory dessert" - easy!! Our party host on the day of the party was sweet, accommodating, and low-key while also checking in the perfect amount. All other staff onsite were also welcoming and helpful. I can see how two hours could be tight for some folks, but they're very upfront about the expectations, and it was no big deal - I just kept an eye on the clock and moved things along. Booking was a little confusing on the website (a larger room size was incorrectly showing for the smaller party package), but their party coordinator got me fixed after I screwed up my reservation initially. We have a young child who, before the management change, was allowed to sit on the edge of the mat about 15 feet away and would try to do the moves along with the class. With the old staff, we got an understanding smile and some pleasant conversation. Now? Condescending looks accompanied by comments like, "We'll have to charge you for another lesson if your child is on the floor." It's ATROCIOUS working with Advantage now. Here's what you can look forward to: 1) Frequent unanswered calls with no attempts to reply to voicemail 2) Billing issues (always in the gym's favor) 3) A lack of empathy/understanding/customer service 4) The greediest gym I've ever worked with Seriously, if the coaches weren't solid, we'd run away and never look back.

Spectating had a unique set-up for the northern division pools. One could stand on the pool and watch, but there was also a multi-level building with a balcony one could stand on as well as a bleacher area by a grassy lawn located up some stairs from the pool deck. The grassy area might not have been huge, but it was large enough to have some space to spread out during dual meets. During division-wide/league-wide meets (such as prelims, Northern Division, or All-City), the space was more cramped, but still large enough to get a small area. Concessions and ribbons were housed upstairs at the building, which was nice especially on dreary days. Restrooms were on the bottom level of the building and could be reached from stairs by the building or via the pool deck. The pool was on the cooler side and had slippery tiles. That was something our coaches emphasized for us to practice during warm-up - turns without slipping. Parking near the building was quick to go during meets, so getting to the pool tended to include a bit of a walk. Though, since that was the norm, it was easy to plan ahead.

The Klahaya Swim & Tennis Club grounds were well maintained and a nice community space when I…read morecompeted in the Seattle Summer Swim League 1999 to 2010 for Innis Arden. The parking lot is medium size and during swim meets the church across the street was kind and allowed overflow parking, so the walk was not too far. During my younger years, the blocks were a bit like a very thick and durable plastic table and the backstroke hand rungs were sharp (not piercing) on my fingers. The top of the blocks could get slick and were on the flatter side. Some of the Klahaya swimmers expressed glee about how their pool had the "cleanest" blocks because they were flat. There was some debate on whether using slightly tilted and rough-surfaced blocks constituted cheating in a race. It was commonly agreed upon wedge technology for starting blocks counted as cheating. I was thankful for the flatter blocks because it helped me realize how much a rough surface on a block and a slight tilt could change the depth of a dive off a block and overall dive form. The pool was well designed for waiting for races both on the benches and behind the blocks, watching the swimmers from the bleachers or the side/end of the lanes, and a large grassy area next to the tennis courts provided space to spread out a blanket and/or chairs. Concessions were easy to find, though the line could flow into the walking path if long. Locker rooms were easy to access from the pool deck.

Membership is limited and the wait list to join takes a bit but those in the know, enjoy this little private community club. Starch-boy, our son, has enjoyed attending several birthday parties here. The staff is well versed in safety instruction and they have requirements of the swimmers to allow them into the deep ends of the pool. The facility is always clean, plenty of parking and the staff are always helpful. Only knock against it is the pool is only open seasonally.
