Veraci pizza line bellevue farmers market thrs
    Steph M.

Bellevue farmers market in a church lot on Bellevue Way. Was a non- chaotic fun filled after daycare activity for my 3 year old and I. ( trying to find things after work and when i pick him up to tire him out more) and this one did that. Parking not a problem at all. No dogs allowed. There were 2 food trucks-The Box( Asian-Fusion cuisine) and Veraci Pizza when we were there last Thrs. around 5 pm. Patio plastic table and chairs to sit and eat. Its small - but was something to do with a toddler. Safe. Not overly crowded. Dinner served. Plus fun music- a cello, violin , and guitar? Multiple kids who probably thought it was casper baby pants were dancing around with popsicles in hand. Flower selection : Meh. maybe it was because we came later in afternoon but my son wanted to get some for me. $10. Like a pike place mix. They are part blooming part falling apart currently. We tasted a little mini strawberry pie from adrienne's cakes and pies($5)a giant cookie sandwich , slice of pizza ($6)and a seattle pops lime popsicle. And were there about an hour in total.

If you are unable to find street parking, Redmond Town Center offers a free parking garage that is only a short walk away, making parking convenient overall. I absolutely love the Redmond Saturday Market. It is one of my favorite places to visit on the weekends. They always have fresh produce with a great selection of fruits and vegetables, along with many local vendors selling handmade jewelry, artwork, baked goods, and other unique products. It is a wonderful place to support small businesses while enjoying the local community. One of my favorite things about Redmond is how walkable the area is. After visiting the market, you can walk around Redmond Town Center, browse the shops, grab something to eat, or simply enjoy the atmosphere. There are also plenty of seating areas throughout the town center, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy your food or take a break. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by the Redmond Saturday Market if you are in the area. It is a great way to spend a weekend morning, support local businesses, and enjoy everything that downtown Redmond has to offer.

A pleasant surprise! I hadn't ever tried a guava empanada but I go for anything guava flavored so it was a must for me. The cream cheese and sweet guava jam was a perfect duo. I highly recommend trying this one but a cono was also looking mighty delicious. I also had the most amazing watermelon fruit juice made from watermelons from farmers at this market. As soon as I heard that, I wanted it. It was like adding a tap to a watermelon it tasted so good! This was a smaller market with an okay amount of vendors but just two rows to stroll through. The location though is beautiful and right by the water and park so it gets busy. The parking lot to the side was a mess with traffic but across the street there is tons of additional parking that was way easier.

One of our favorites are the food trucks with so many different varieties including ice cream trucks and cuisines from all. We missed the Ice cream trucks and Popcorn trucks this time and hopefully they are back soon! we enjoyed the Chicken Tacos at the Puerto Ensenada food truck and the Pesto chicken wrap at Blinchiki Food truck. Parking is limited and gets full at the Juanita beach park but there is plenty of parking in the off-road parking lot on the opposite side of the park!

This was my first farmer's market in Washington and it was utterly magical!…read more The produce quality is so amazing and I loved all the variety! The flowers were beyond beautiful. I don't think I have seen more beautiful blooms anywhere else! I love that it was heavily focused on local small businesses, farmers, and FOOD. We stopped for a few bites along the way and were blown away every time. So good. This market is huge and stretches for a few blocks, so be sure to come early and give yourself ample time to explore. Also, with it being in Ballard, there are a ton of cool, hipster shops to browse while you're in the area.

Subsequently, I lost some interest since I don't live nearby. While I was in Ballard on a recent Sunday, I rushed to the market to see if it was still open. Officially, it was not; they closed at 2pm. But they were still packing up. I believe they are not allowed to sell after the official closing time; I asked one vendor, they declined. The staff wants the streets to reopen as soon as possible. As I walked the two blocks, several vendors still have some items on display on their tables. With a bit of wink, wink, accidentally dropping cash on the table and accidentally taking things off the table, I walked away with goodies. I won't say what I bought to avoid anyone getting into trouble. Street parking was easy enough nearby on a Sunday.

It wasn't terribly busy where I was bumping into people it was actually quite comfortable to walk around . Everyone who was hosting were very nice and kind . This farmers market was a little small and didn't have lots of different stands compared to others I've been too that usually has stands with home decor , scarves , jewelry , cards , etc . But it was still nice , I wouldn't mind coming back again specially for some kettle corn and cookies those are worth it ! Pricing on the kettle corn was pretty normal , the cookies were a little more on the pricey end but I just had to try the s'mores ! I enjoyed my visit to the farmers market and I hope you do as well !

I decided to visit when I read a pop-up food booth will be there. The market itself was larger than I expected. The size is about two long blocks' length with booths on both sides. Other than farmer stalls, they had a good mix of food booths/trucks selling hot foods, bakery stalls, food stands selling sweets like cookies, non-food stalls selling handmade crafts. They even have a band. It's just me, but I'm ok without a band unless they are volunteers. If some of the booth fees pay for the band, then keeping the cost low is good, too. We arrived at 12:20, ate lunch, then wandered the booths and shopped. The traffic at the hot food trucks/stalls have decreased significantly by then. We found plenty of options buying goodies. I hesitated on the veggies. They look good, but prices are steep. The fruits were surprisingly more reasonable. I know I will return. Dogs under watchful eyes are ok. See red sign in photos.

I accompanied my friend here who lives in nearby First Hill, so it constitutes the surrounding area mentioned but is all the more welcomed now as aside from the QFC in the area, there are few options for food shopping. My friend picked up some fresh radishes, mushrooms and tasty homemade hummus from the various vendors in attendance. We also got a veggie panini from a griller vendor at the market. Overall, the market is on the small side focusing primarily on produce over products and other miscellaneous sometimes seen at the larger ones. This is kind of nice as there is a lower amount of foot traffic, but the options are more limited.
